Chapter 1 Part 1: Rebirth

The leaves floated away along the cold wind, drifting clouds rolled up rains .

After a while, a heavy rain had finally stopped. Inside the Bilu Pavilion, the window was half-opened, a little moist water vapor could be seen seeping into the room mixed with recently lit incense from a sweet scented furnace, was being sniffed by Jiang Liangchan.

Followed by the arrival of people, furthermore the two servant girls that were present kept their chattering

This murmuring voice entered Jiang Liangchan's ears, she then slowly felt a slight coolness of mist touched her skin, and all kinds of scents entered into her nose.

Countless of chattering could be heard around her. In spite of everything, Jiang Liangchan only snuggled her body.

She couldn't believe that she was still alive, but she was not wrong, and could hardly feel her pulse.

While helping the prince to seize power, Jiang Pingxuan had indeed done a lot of things that were detrimental to morality.

He thought a general achieves renown over the dead bodies of 10,000 soldiers. Therefore he also  made some suitable sacrifices.
