Novels Initiating: I woke up to the screams and cries of people. Yawning I covered my ears with my hands and tried to fall back asleep. Wait hang on, why the hell is everybody screaming? The moment I realised that my head thought of countless scenarios is the world finally ending because of an astroid, or are the aliens finally invading? After a few seconds of deep contemplation, I did the breathing exercises my therapist told me to do. Breathe in, breathe out, after calming down and looking around I realised that I wasn't in my house but a simple but elaborate hut with only some necessities needed to live. There was no window or a source of light except for the lantern with fireflies in it. However, worst of all there was no pillow. Had I been kidnapped? Was I being experimented on? Realising my situation such thoughts came to my mind but only to be terminated as I was in the world's heaviest most guarded prison which even I couldn't escape so how could someone kidnap me when I was in there? So I questioned myself how did I get here? I moved towards the door but only to hear the rattling of the locked door knob, I tried to break through the door but not long after I realised that I was stuck and that the weak-looking door was stronger than most iron doors. Realising my situation I sat on my bed thinking about how to escape and if I could escape. Eventually, people stopped screaming and crying but I estimated that it took them about an hour or two to stop. Even though that screaming had stopped due to my heightened senses I could still hear some people talking to themselves about how they were the protagonist and so on. I laughed at those people because half of them probably didn't have a woman, albeit me too. I personally didn't think that those people were going to survive that long. Still, I thought that I should get whatever clue I could get after all this wasn't my first time trying to survive the unknown. Me being pretty experienced I tried to listen in on the people around me as they were the only ones I could hear clearly with my hearing but there was nothing interesting going on until I heard a girl. "Oh my God, that actually worked, I have my own system. I should tell everybody so they can adore me but wait what if this is one of those novels and everybody tries to kill me? Yes, I should hide it and let nobody else know." After that, I did something that any logical person who had read novels would do. "Status Window" { System Iniating 1%... 21%... 56%... 99%, 100% } { Error.. Error... !$%@%# is invading } { System is merging } { 1%.. Error... 56%.. Error… 100% } { Host welcome to the !$%@%# System } Blown away by what just occurred before me while contemplating life I asked, " What are you?" { Host I was sent by the world will to raise you so you can get rid of the protagonists } Trying to comprehend what the hell had just happened to me I thought that I might as well ask some questions and bring some benefit, so I asked " First of all why me and second of all why would you want to get rid of those protagonists that are adored by the world will and lastly what benefits do I get?"
