Earth with 300 billion was facing a problem with lack of resources. The International federals had sent numerous troops into the solar systems to search for resources but to no avail. The International Federals was forced to initiate the final Project X to save mankind. It is the most brutal, helpless and emotional project.
In the 300 billion population, number of children below 16 years old was 65 billion, while the number of unemployed people above 40 years old was 115 billion. Project X objective was to make way for these 180 billion people to give up their life, and allowed the remaining 120 billion people to have a hope of living on. The 180 billion people was given a choice to consume a deadly poisonous pill which was given to each individual or wait for Earth to deteriorate further and try to stay alive in the harsher conditions.
All the 120 billion people on Earth from 16 years old to 40 years old was secretly selected and without them knowing that they were being shipped to different parts of the continents and froze and kept deep in the underground bases. From Year 2699, in the span of one thousand years, once the living conditions of Earth has improved for the better, the computer systems installed in the underground bases will self-activate and these 120 billion people would be spontaneously entering the same game.
This was the main purpose of Project X.
Those people who had entered the game would have to find their own means and ways to survive. This game is very similar to the other games, but the main difference is that once the game character dies, the game system will destroy the actual person controlling the character in the underground base. It also meant that if you die in the game, you would also lose your life.
All the players in the game would face endless challenges. To kill or to be killed. Only the 40 billion players left in the game would have a chance to live in the real world.
The game cannot be self-terminated by the player. The only way to end the game was to be one of the survivor out of the 40 billion people. At this point of time, the computer system will defrost the survivors and through special means back to the Earth's surface, they will start a new human life.
