Chapter 1: Intestinal Poison

The cold prison was full of a bloody smell.

"Why…"

Tang Nuanhua was painfully curled up on the ground. Her large prison uniform accentuated her thin stick-like body.

"cough-"

As she coughed, large quantities of blood rushed out from her mouth.

The pain was very difficult to suppress. She felt like there were tens of thousands of sharp knives in her stomach stabbing her. As she experienced this pain, her eyes gradually became bloodshot. The poison for intestines she was forced to ingest turned to be so horrible and excruciatingly painful.

"Why…how could you do this to me?"

Tang Nuanhua struggled to raise her head, revealing intense hatred of the prison officer in front of her.

"Oh, you're asking why you have poison in your meal?"

The prison officer smiled very cruelly and looked disgustedly at the woman on the ground: "Because someone bribed me to make you die! Your existence hinders her happiness!"

"Who…"

Tang Nuanhua rubbed her stomach and the rest of her body weakly, trying to keep herself awake.

"Well, since you're dying, I will let you know! You're not going to marry Li Shao! So, she does not want you to exist in this world! When you are gone, they can be together."

The pain spread throughout her whole body and wrecked her nerves. But her mind was clear. 'It is her! It is Song Yijun that shameless woman!'

'I really did not think she was this desperate to try and kill me.' Tang Nuanhua screamed out in pain and the corners of her eyes were filled with tears of remorse and anger.

'Song Yijun was my best and closest friend! I trusted her and yet she calculated and schemed against me step by step until l landed into prison. It was also because of her that l gave up the best man in the world!'

This handsome man was like a god. He once spoiled her up to the skies but because of Song Yiju's provocations, she tried her best to abandon him and push him away.

Now, Tang Nuanhua felt like a fool because she was toyed with by Song Yijun and everything was in the palm of her hand from the very beginning. She became the humblest and most poor person in the world and now she was in prison and about to die all because of her.

But what is the use of remorse now? She is not worthy of him…

"cough- "

A large mouthful of blood rushed out again.

The whole ground was soaked with blood and Tang Nuanhua collapsed onto it. Her eyes filled with tears as she looked at the darkness of the room. She felt the pain of her intestines ripping but even more so of remorse and guilt. This feeling was so deep it could not pass even if she died.

The prison guard saw her appearance and finally could not help but lament at her plight. Tang Nuanhua, who was originally glaring full of hate and anger, closed her eyes as she felt her consciousness slip away. Her beautiful face now lifeless.

The prison guard sighed again and returned to work.
