The First Interaction

“Kid! You are this early again?”, the gate keeper who was around thirty’s said to the young boy who look like a high school student. He was tall like five feet and eight inches and had really handsome face features, fair complexion, brown eyes filled with determination, thick and silky black hairs which were tingling above his eyebrows. One could take a guess from the way he dressed himself that he doesn’t like wearing fancy clothes to impress someone. Although he wear simple but in those simple clothes his personality was really heart throbbing even if he isn’t wearing any high brand.

“Yes, is there any problem?”, the boy replied in a polite manner.

“No, there isn’t. But never seen anyone this persistant but you to enter this University, this early every moring. Even at the first day of semester, I think it was you who asked me for directions, right?”, the gate keeper remarked in a mocking tone. He continued, “But…judging from your appearance it seems that you couldn’t sleep well last night. Am I right?”

“No…Yes…I mean (sigh) that isn’t the case. Anyways I am getting late I’ll talk to you later”, the young man waved his hand to gate keeper and then walked further into the campus while covering his neck with his muffler. It was because it was winter already. The snow was visible at every corner of the campus.

He entered the department of computer science. When he was young he was really eager to learn about computers. So he worked really hard to get enrolled into one of world renowned universities on scholarship which was called “International University of Technology and Emerging Sciences” in short IUTES. Only God and he himself knows how hard it was for him to get accepted by this IUTES. Because he was an immigrant and was only here to study. The reason he came this early was because the finals were coming and he was really busy preparing for them. His passion to learn couldn’t let him sleep more than 5 hours in whole 24 hours.

“Whoa! It’s really getting late. Perhaps, I should get going…never imagined the whole three hours would pass like a blink of an eye”, he stood up from chair he was sitting for almost three hours like a statue. He stretched his upper body, put his notes in hs bag pack and ran towards his first class in the morning at sharp 9 am.

“Mr. Kim, so glad that you could enjoy us!”, said the professor who was about to start the lecture. “You’re late again. So what would be your excuse then?”, professor asked him.

“I...am sorry...professor, I’ll be....careful...next time”, he said while huffing.

“I am letting you go this time. Next time there would be no compensation for you. Regardless how much talented you are.”

“Yes sir!”, he replied in apologetic tone.

“Go take your seat.”

He went straight for the last bench which was already empty. Because he liked to sit alone and he never spoke with any of the other students in the class unless if it is important. It wasn’t like that he was an arrogant brat, but, there was so much going on in his mind that he never pay heed to any other student.

Barely, half an hour passed the door of the class opened, a female appeared who was around in her early thirty’s.

“Sorry for intruding your class professor Issac but I need few minutes, I hope you won’t mind”, she said in an apologetic manner by rubbing her left palm with her right one.

“Oh please don’t apologize chancellor. Please take your time”, Professor replied with respectful attitude.

“Thank you professor!”, she said a smile.

“May I have your attention please?”, she said in a loud voice, like she was commanding a platoon for war.

Everyone was surprised for a moment. There was a little commotion in class but after her voice ranged in the class no one dared to spout a word because she was vice chancellor of the department and was really strict like a like a commander.

“We have a new student, who will be joining you all from this day forth. I hope you will all take good care of that student”, she gave a glance at the door then she waved her to that transfer student.

When she said that everyone was in predicament whether the new student was girl or a boy. Among the boys some were hoping for a stunning beauty and girls were hoping for a boy like prince charming of their dreams.

But when the new student came in it was joyous moment for all boys because it was a girl after all. All the girls were really disappointed in their luck. Regardless what was happening in the class Kim was unaware of that because he wasn’t listening to any of this because he was busy in his own little world of learning. It wasn’t because he was deaf because he was wearing headphones under the hood so that no one can recognize it. And he won’t be disturbed.

She entered and introduced herself. “Hello everyone! My name is Kelly Macbeth. ”

After a short introduction the vice chancellor went to her own office. Professor Issac said to Kelly, “Ms. Kelly, please help yourself.” After that she looked for an empty seat, boys were trying their best in offering sufficient space for her and it wasn’t appropriate rather it was an honor for Kelly but who would have thought that she would decline not just boys but all of the girls too and continue looking. In the end Kelly an empty seat and there was a mysterious boy was sitting on the last bench. She looked at him and smiled a bit.

“Interesting…” thinking about that in her mind she moved towards the last seat and sat with Kim who was sitting by the window.

Kim was so obsessed with the book, he was reading. The book was related to the coming discoveries about future technology he couldn’t even feel the presence of Kelly beside him. Kelly didn’t disturb him because she figured him out from his concentration that he was a big nerd who was obsessed with books and not interested in any kind of introductions. This was a little bit surprising for her because in a place where she knew that almost every single guy except for Kim is dying to talk to her because she was really beautiful.

Stunning features like a beauty of a fairy tale, her skin was like it was carved with snow, her big green and bright eyes in which if someone look for once won’t be able to look anywhere else, her red wavy hairs were to length of her shoulders and perfect figure which made some girls jealous.

A moment later she put her notebook on the table without disturbing Kim. But then sudden move of Kim shocked her, because Kim grabbed her left hand index finger like a pen, Kelly was really confused that it was her first day and Kim is toying with her like they are in some sort of relationship. She was about to say something because Kim was slowly pulling her hand towards his lower body. The first impression of Kim in her mind was, “Pervert! A pervert in an institute like this!”

She was about to pull her left hand from Kim’s possession but something interesting happened…
