I had to remove my previous comment and make this one. This story teller is extremely bad. Even if you ignore the multitude of grammatical errors, the entire first plot line of the story just gets forgotten when they go to the new empire. Even though they mention runes every so often, they are never used again and it makes many things seem useless or repetitive.

The pronoun her doesn’t exist in this novel. The female sub-species does not exist.

I almost want to lower it to 2 stars. I am continuing reading and this author/translator has no consistency between chapters. I made a joke about the MCs name but that’s just one of the things. Many other names and a whole multitude of typos makes it difficult to read smoothly.
