A letter to book friends in the New Year
Finally, I can take some time to wish my brothers a happy new year and write something about last year.
2023 is a more meaningful year for me.
Because I am Mr. Xiang, I have achieved an interesting achievement: I have not stopped updating for more than half a year.
Long-time book friends all know that I used to be the kind of bad writer who would stop updating books from time to time. Of course I personally know that this is not good, but sometimes I get emotional and just don't want to write.

And I don't like to save manuscripts... As soon as this mood comes up, and when a little trouble occurs in reality, I start to stop updating.
This is very, very bad, so I would like to say sorry to all my old book friends and thank you for your continued support to Lao Xiang. I have been able to write books intermittently for nearly twenty years, which is inseparable from your encouragement. It's open.
Let's talk about the book currently being serialized, "The Black Knight from Blue Star".
This book has been updated for more than half a year now, mainly because I had fun writing it.
In fact, the performance of this book is quite poor. Compared with "Heraldry of the Nobles", the performance is even worse.
It is the one with the worst collection ratio among all the paid books I have.
But now this serial is very comfortable to write, without any sense of 'burden'.
This is mainly related to mentality. In the past, when I was writing books, there was always a kind of realistic emotion interfering with it, such as unsatisfactory work, incomprehension from relatives, etc. These can easily break the emotional stability of adult men.
It has been more than two years since I resigned and I have been full-time for more than two years. All the satisfaction at work and the incomprehension from my relatives have disappeared. Now I am the breadwinner of the family, and no one interferes with whatever I like to do. Besides, writing books can bring in income, and my family status has skyrocketed.
So for men, family status is really important.
At least it will affect your mentality (laughing).
In general, I am very happy to write the book I am currently serializing, and I will find ways to increase its daily updates. As for the results, I will just let it happen.

Look at the calendar, tomorrow is New Year's Eve, and in a blink of an eye it's another year.
Think about when I first started writing the book, Lao Xiang, I was still an innocent boy. I was a little nervous when I saw girls, thinking that girls were good at everything.
Nearly twenty years have passed in a blink of an eye, and the current Lao Xiang... haha, you all know it.
Time is more than just a butcher's knife.
But no matter what, time will slowly slip away. We cannot predict or prevent changes in the world or personal changes.
