Nicolas received a message from his father telling him to attend a meeting with the officers in military army. Since, they have over a million registered soldiers in the whole country. The structure of the army is subdivided by different ranks.

On the Capital, there are only over two hundred thousand soldiers that are stationed in there. The others were stationed to guard or battle the few Rebels inside the country located in the provinces or some mountainous region in the country. Only the soldiers stationed in the capital will be able to participate during the Perildon Summit.

The meeting will take place inside the auditorium in the military camp. The auditorium is specifically only used during this kind of meeting and for other types of occasions such as awarding of the outstanding officers.

It could hold up to a thousand audiences. Its style is like you are inside a theatrical play or inside a cinema. It has a stage in front which has a podium on the left side, a big flat screen TV in the middle and on the side is the two seats reserved for Gen. Adrianno and Nicolas as they were the only two highest ranking military officers that is in the country right now. There are other Colonel Generals but as of this moment they were in charge of other missions so they could not participate in this Perildon Summit and also they are excused for this mission currently.

The auditorium has four columns and twenty-five rows per each column which has ten seats per row. It also slopes upwards for the convenience of the people sitting on the last rows.

Currently, only fifty four officers were invited during this meeting from the Field marshal to the Colonel which holds up to five thousand soldiers under their disposal.

The military officers inside where the field marshal which is Gen. Adrianno, the Col. Gen. which is Nicolas, four Lt. Gen., eight Major Gen., and forty Colonels.

The four Lieutenant Generals are currently sitting on the first row. Then, on the next row are designated for the eight Major Generals who have twenty-five thousand soldiers under their disposal. Then lastly, from the third row up to the sixth row were seats designated for the Colonels and they are arrange in the Chronological order of their last name.

Gen. Adrianno gets up from his seat and started to walk towards the podium.

"Is everyone here already?", Gen. Adrianno asked when he reached the podium.

"Yes, sir!", all of the soldiers started to respond that reverberated towards the whole auditorium.

"Good. So, the agenda of the meeting is about the upcoming Perildon Summit", Gen. Adrianno started while Mr. Lim, which is Gen. Adrianno's secretary, started to turn on the huge TV in front to present the PowerPoint presentation that he had prepared for this meeting.

"We are all familiar with this occasion, right? As this is being held up every year for the commemoration of the alliance of the six countries", Gen. Adrianno inquired though he already know that the soldiers already heard about this news.

"Good news is that, our country is the host for this year's Perildon Summit. The bad news is, we are responsible to ensure the safety of our guest for this three day occasion", he added with his grave face that seems like he really is unwilling to become a guard for their guest.

Nicolas is currently not listening in the meeting once again though with his stoic face his father could feel that something is quite not right with his son's mood today.

"Today, we are going to distribute the task to every corps. Since, we have two hundred thousand soldiers inside our capital right now doesn't mean that all of you will be assigned on the same day and the same place. So, I had divided the duty for every corps every day", Gen. Adrianno explained.

"So in these three days, since we have four corps which is headed by the four Lieutenant Generals, the first corps which is headed by Lt. Gen. Marasigan will be responsible for the security of the guest from their arrival on the airport until their safe arrival at the Hotel. Also, you have to accompany them for whatever activities that the higher ups prepared for them that same day. I will leave the authority to you Lt. Gen. Marasigan to divide your corps for this mission", Gen. Adrianno said as he look towards Lt. Marasigan's direction.

"Roger that, sir!", Lt. Gen. Marasigan saluted as he stand up from his chair.

"Then, for their second day on the hotel, Lt. Gen. Carrona's corps will be responsible for ensuring their safety on the second day of their stay in our country and, of course, you also have to accompany them to other activities that the higher ups had prepared", Gen. Adrianno said as he directed his gaze towards Lt. Gen. Carrona's direction.

"Roger that, sir", Lt. Gen. Carrona saluted as he stand up from his seat.

"For the third day, which is the day of the Commemoration party that the higher ups had prepared, it will be Lt. Gen. Marianno's corps duty to ensure the guest safety for that day, from their departure to the hotel until their arrival to the White Palace where the party will take place and lastly all throughout the duration of the party. So, I suggest that you and your corps must not forget to drink an energy drink as it will become a long day for you", Gen. Adrianno said it to Lt. Gen. Marianno in a grave face like he really felt sympathy for Lt. Gen. Marianno's predicament that garnered a laugh from the soldiers inside.

Well, they were already used to Gen. Adrianno's antics as he always tried to lighten the mood of their every meeting.

"Roger that, sir!", Lt. Gen. Marianno saluted with a smile on his face as he heard Gen. Adrianno's reminder.

"Lastly, I said it is only a three day occasion, right? So, what about the fourth corps? Don't worry Lt. Gen. Antonio I did not forgot about you. After the party, the guests have their departure flight by five in the morning the next day. So, your corps would be responsible to be on duty starting from the ending of the party, then, to their arrival to the hotel up to the time of their arrival in the airport. So, divide your corps for that mission", Gen. Adrianno said to Lt. Gen. Antonio.

"Roger that, sir!", Lt. Gen. Antonio saluted as he stand up from his seat.

"So, I had now divided the duties for the four corps. Every day, there should be fifty-thousand soldiers on duty. Of course, I will leave the authority to every Lt. Gen. to divide their corps to guard a certain guest and also for the area that they are in so that there won't be a conflict of duty for that day. Also, make sure that all of our guests have some soldiers that guard them and from our higher ups they said that we have less than a hundred guests", Gen. Adrianno added.

"Mr. Lim here will give each of you the files of our guest", Gen. Adrianno said then Mr. Lim get the stack of papers that they had prepared on the side earlier then distribute the files to all of the soldiers inside.

"Don't worry. Me and Col. Gen. Adrianno will be present for that whole three days. But, actually, it will be Col. Gen. Adrianno that will oversee your whole job as I am assigned to accompany Pres. Maxillano for that whole three days. So, Col. Gen. Adrianno you have to be present for that whole three days", Gen. Adrianno said as he turned his head towards Nicolas direction.

Nicolas, who is having some inner monologue within him about his thoughts about Leila as he still couldn't accept the rejection that he had received from her yesterday, is in a daze as he stared blankly on the space and he was only out of his reverie when his father called him again in a much louder voice.

"Ah, yes fath-, I mean roger that, sir!", Nicolas hurriedly stand up to salute to his father and accept whatever mission he had assigned to him.

His father just said "tsk". Then just accept his salute with a nod. He will just going to interrogate this boy later at home for his reason of not paying attention to the meeting.

"This Perldon Summit will take place next week. So, we only have seven days to prepare for this occasion. And also, before I forgot, the Police Department will also accompany us in this mission as it is a joint force mission of the Army and the Police. So, don't worry, if things fail it is not only us that will face Pres. Maxillano's wrath there is also the police", Gen. Adrianno added that garnered another laugh from the soldiers.

"So that would be the agenda for this meeting for today. I hope that everyone remembers their duty. And, I hope that with the help of the Almighty nothing wrong will happen during this Summit. And that would be all. I hope everyone have a good day, meeting adjourned", Gen Adrianno said then he left the stage. Everyone also started to stand up from their seats and one by one started to leave the auditorium.

Nicolas just sighed in his reaction earlier and he knows that his father will interrogate him greatly later at home and he will be force to spill all the beans or else he will garner a smack in the head from him.
