As Leila's father and brother died as a soldier and Leila is always away from her home as she is always in a mission, her mother decided to live with her in-laws and take care of them.

Rafael and Felicia Cara is Leila's grandparent's name. Their house is located in a province which is an hour ride from the city. Leila came from a humble family though her family has a generation of soldiers but they were not considered as a powerful family but only a well-lived one.

Inside the Cara's home, Leila with her mother and grandparents, were talking about Leila's decision with regards to her supposed to be marriage.

"Grandpa, my decision is final. I don't want us to hurt each other anymore or else I will bear this guilt for the rest of my life if I will still continue to marry him", Leila said as she explained to her family about her decision.

"But, do you think that by doing this, you won't hurt each other more?", her mother Lucia said to her though she is only expressing her opinion.

"Mother, don't worry about it. I can handle it. Besides, I am much stronger than other girls", Leila said then smiled on her mother though she knows that as of this moment she is feeling hurt. But, what she can't understand is that, she also has a feeling that she's doing a right decision.

"If that is your decision, we will just accept it since you are not a child anymore. But, you must also think of the consequences of your decision", her grandfather added.

"Thank you grandpa, I will bear it in mind", Leila said as she knows her grandpa is only worried about her.

'Ding. Dong. Ding'

A few minutes later, their doorbell rang signaling someone is outside their house. And Leila went to check who is outside.

As she opened their door, she saw that it is Leon who is outside.

"Leila. Please, let's talk", Leon said and you can see base on his looks that he didn't slept well last night as his eyes were bloodshot and his looks which is always looks respectable and neat where now in disarray, looking like a mess.

"Leon, I already said yesterday that we are over. My decision is final. Please, don't make it hard for the both of us", Leila said without expressing any emotions.

"So, you will just throw away all those years that we are together? Is that it Leila!? Answer me!?", Leon said stressing every word he said.

"Leila, you are aware that I never lied to you even once. I respected you dearly, as I loved you so much. Even though I want you to stop being a soldier, I still supported you. And now, you will just throw our relationship like it is something dispensable!", Leon said though he doesn't like to cry but tears is gleaming in his eyes again.

Leila doesn't know what to say anymore. She doesn't want to do this also but, she thinks this is the right thing to do.

She made a decision and its final so, she look up to him then said, " I made a decision and its final. I already said I fall out of love to you. And, it doesn't have anything to do with the event that happened last week. And also, I already have doubts about our wedding since last month. Maybe, I really am not yet ready to be tied to anyone".

"Maybe, you are just not yet ready so let us just postpone it. I can wait for you no matter how long that is", Leon said as he is thinking that maybe she's not yet ready yet for marriage but, he can wait for her.

"No, that's not it. I really do not love you anymore. So, please, just please, let's end this now, Leon", Leila said while hiding her emotions.

"Ha, there is a religion wherein when the man said that he wants a divorce three times, the woman must give it. It is also applicable to us though it is you who wants to end our relationship", Leon said then laughed piteously while another tear escaped his eyes.

"So, since, you already rejected me for three times not counting what happened yesterday as I was thinking that maybe you are just not thinking straight yesterday. But now, I am also human Leila, I cannot take constant rejection. So, I'll let you go. I just hope that you will be happy with your decision, Leila. Goodbye.", Leon said it coldly and without expressing emotion in his face as he already had enough, then went inside his car then drove away.

Leila cannot stop her emotions anymore. So after Leon left, she run to her room fast then cried until she felt like her tear ducts can't produce any tears anymore.

'I'm sorry Leon. Maybe, we are not meant to be. I hope you'll find the woman that is destined for you', Leila said in her heart while tears is streaming down her face again.
