"Dad learn about Zander? I thought they never met?" she said baffled .

"Thanks Steve . I'll check on it . " she took it and hides it for safekeeping, then her phone rang . Seeing it was her mother she immediately answered . feeling a little uneasy .

"Yes mom?"

"Carah! Lexie is missing! "her mother sounded in panic .

" What!"

"I went to fetch her in school but the guard said that she already left . "

"But I thought that the children are not release if their parents didn't come . "

"Yes, that seems to be the case, but I guess she tricked the guard . Carah where can she be?"

"Mom, calm down just go home, I'll handle it . I had an idea where she is . I'll call you back . calm down Mama . "

"What is it?" Steve asked .

"Lexie is missing . Come on, please . I will need your moral support . "

Meanwhile Zander was getting out of the elevator when a child bump unto him on his way out .

He glance down and saw a small figure whose face is somewhat familiar .

"Excuse me sir, are you Mr Alexander Chen?" she asked politely .

"Yes, why?" he was smiling thinking what a polite child and a pretty one . she really looks familiar must be one of her employee's . He was surprised by her next question .

"I am Lexie, I think you are my Dada?" He looks at his subordinates who was with him in the elevator . Of course! its Lexie .

" Depends on who is your mother?" he tried to treat it lightly, but he is holding his breath in anticipation .

"My mama's name is Carah Jade Ho Valle , but my real name is Alexandria Ruby Chen . " she said smiling showing off her dimples .

Zander knelt down to the level of the child his eyes misting he saw clearly the image of the younger Carah, he gave Lexie a hug and said . "I guess I am pumpkin . You are even name after me . " and he carried her back to his office .

He was in tears when they reached his office . He is both happy that his suspicion was correct . and furious at the same time, because of the lost time he could have spend raising her, he told his secretary to cancel all his appointment for the rest of the day and ask him not to be disturb .

"Dada why didn't you come sooner? I missed you this much . " she gesture with her arms . He decided to play along .

"Really? I was busy making things alright but I was on my way to see you beat me to it . " she smiles happily then burst out laughing .

"Yehey . . . my Dada is here I finally meet my Dada . " just when the door is opened with his secretary apologizing, " I'm sorry sir but they were persistent . " Steve entered follow by Carah .
