Carah finished her research and hurriedly went home, she passed by the market to buy fresh fruits and veggies, Zander is returning home tomorrow, she have to prepare homemade cooking, she learn to cook as soon as they live together though he never imposes on her to do anything other than studying . He arrived as usual bringing some presents for his lovely wife .

"You don't have to bring me some presents every time you return home babe, I won't be able to use it . There's no occasion for me to wear those dresses and jewelries . " she told him . "Then why don't we make occasions for you to be able to wear them . even though I much prefer you to wear those jewelries only . " there were amusement in his eyes when he saw her reaction .

"You! shameless husband . " . her face is red as Tomatoes . she was amused also to see these side of her husband's personality .

" Go, wash before we eat our dinner . " "Ok " but surprised her by stealing a kiss before leaving the room for the bathroom .

"Oh by the way my mother will arrive tomorrow . And I decided to tell her about our marriage . "he told her at during dinner .

"What? but why? isn't it just letting the cat out of the bag? If you tell your mother, can we tell my parents too?" " Baby if we won't tell her she won't stop snooping around and that will not leave us in peace . I know her and her meddling ways . " Carah had a bad feeling about it, but she never voice out her concerns, she trust her husband to keep things in order .

Stella arrived the next day . As expected she began her endless line of questioning . "Mother, why don't you get to the point and stop asking stupid questions . . "

"So is it true?" without hesitation she asked . " What is?" he tested her .

"That you're living-in with an eighteen year old girl . . . You hardly been a year in this country and you're in a serious relationship with someone!" she said furiously .

"And what about you mother you're been in and out of relationship before you married Steve . "

"Don't change the topic!!! Show me some respect, I'm your mother for heaven's sake Alexander!!!" she became more angrier .

"Then stop meddling with my life!"

"I just don't want to see you hurt . She maybe be one of those gold digger . . . "

"Enough mother!!! you didn't meet her yet and you judge her outright!" he defended his wife .

"Then let me judge for myself! I just don't want to see you making the same mistakes I did before . . . whether you believe it or not I do care for you . " she added after thought .

"Sure you'll meet her . see for yourself . "

The journey from the airport ended in silence . Both are engrossed with each others thoughts .
