Carah got a call from her husband that he won't be able to come back home the next day due to some important things to settle . So spend her time with her father, but she never discussed anything about her marriage . Her father went home without the knowledge of her marriage .

Thinking about this, his mother called informing him of her vacation . " Why's so sudden mother? you could have told me earlier for me to make arrangement, you couldn't stay in my place, besides I'm in another city doing business right now . " he sound disgusted . he doesn't have a loving relationship with his mother . unlike Carah and her parents, He grew up alone, after his parents separated her mother severed the ties between him and his father . If its not for Steve he may never experience to have a male influence in his life . Steve is his stepfather he married his mother after a series of failed relationship, and he raise him as his own . Only with Steve he saw the compassion and understanding the flaws of his mother . "Why you sound like you don't want to see your mother? anyways you can book me to the nearest hotel to your place so I can check on you . . . I be coming on Saturday meet me at the airport . " she said . "What about Steve is he coming too?" he suspect that his mother had another reason besides visiting in coming back to the country .

Stella, his mother was pissed of with the way he end their conversation, but then she understood him , they were never close . He blamed her for the breakup of their family . She made a lot of mistake in her younger years that resulted to her only son to be indifferent to her . She love him of course , which led her to interfere in the events of his life, to which Steven called meddling . she can't help being jealous of the relationship of the two men in her life . But she feels that she have to verify the rumors reaching her . to which resulted to the fight with her husband .

On the other hand Carah patiently awaits the return of her husband unknowingly that this will mark the changes in her life that will shatter the happy and contented life she experience .
