Carah was thinking that she should be more cautious in dealing with Zander, she had a feeling that there some things that he is not telling her. Much as she wants to help, as her nature dictates she fear in the feelings he stir on her and the impact it might unleashed to her mother and Lexie, the two persons she most care about.

She sense that Zander is not totally honest about his condition.

Zander on the other hand, thought that he gave a lot clues in his act. He doesn't want to scare her away. He just want to be closer to her and rekindle the fire of their love that was put off by jealousy and deceit. He must win her girl again no matter what the price is.

Of course he had to be careful not to let her know his scheming like the unexpected meetings, the work proposal and the punctured car tires.

Sure he already had someone to uncover the culprit of the company's losses and the secret dealing that led for the company to loosing its assets, a help from Carah will be great since her information machinery is unparalleled coupled with her analytical mind that uncover secrets.

She just never ceases to amaze him of what she turned into after all these years. She had gone more mature ,more confident and more beautiful.

The car stops at the entrance of the school. She turn to him to offer her thanks. "please unlock the door, Mr Chen.'

"Zander,call me Zander."

"I don't think so, we're not that close Mr CEO. to be on a first name basis." she replied. "Please unlock the door."

"No, call me Zander your not getting off this car unless you call me by my first name."

"You're holding me against my will, that is punishable by the law. Mr CEO."

"It's not life threatening calling someone by their name. Call me Zander." he repeated. but was shock when Carah burst out laughing.

"What's the matter?"

"You,... you sounded like a spoilt child trying to get his way."

Trying to pull her self together. she said coaxingly. "OK,.. Zander my dear will you please unlock the door, I am already running late , please....?"

as if by magical word the door unlocks.

"See, it's not so hard saying my name is it?"

Carah shaking her head.and walk out.

"I'll wait for you." he call out.

"No need." she answered.

However when she walked out of the school gate an hour later, she found him leaning to his car waiting.

"For someone who should be busy saving his company from bankruptcy. here you are wasting your time waiting for me." he usher her on the front seat of his car. as she settle down .He said " the very reason I waited."

"You!... liar!!! you promised."

"I remembered I promised on the way here. please Carah I desperately need your help."

"OK, let me think about it. there's things I have to consider, my job at the law office, the case of Josh, it might interfere and some considerations I'm not at liberty to discuss with you." she said furiously.

"Thanks for considering, when can I have your answer?" he ask meekly.

"I give you a call after three days."

"Ok, I'll be waiting."he said, then fall into silence. Carah closed her eyes pretending to sleep. she was thinking wasn't this the same man who throw her out of his life without hearing her side of the story?

It was a rainy day she came from the doctor for her check up to confirm the result of the pregnancy kit. she told Zander last night when he called but never get around to it because the signal was cut off due to bad weather. Today she is sure, she is eight weeks pregnant. probably they conceived it while they were in their trip to Palawan to check on the Pearls that would be needed on the next jewelry campaign. the memory brought a rise of color in her cheeks which did escape the man beside her.

It was a beautiful sunny day they spent checking on the supplier. when they returned she sense that Zander was a little bit different it started out with a kiss so tender and Carah match it with all the love she felt for this man. Both on their birthday suit. he declared.

" I love you very much Carah, you will forever be my girl." and seal the promise as he kiss from her neck down to the twin peaks to her belly to the spot between her thighs.

she was breathless and....

"Where to Carah?"

"Huh?..." a little daze, she concentrated on the road. "Just drop me by the grocery. I will just walk on home after buying some food supplies. "

"You lived around here?" he inquired.

"Sort of, " she doesnt want to divulge the information." Thanks for the ride Zander. I'll call you when I reached a decision."
