I often write two or three chapters about a realm breakthrough. At that time, some book friends also criticized it, but it was not so serious.

In the middle of writing "Yuan Tianzun", I still do this occasionally. I may spend a lot of pen and ink writing about realm breakthroughs, but I quickly noticed something was wrong, that is, the overall environment of readers has changed, and the reading needs have become faster and faster. .

Therefore, in the last few volumes of "Yuan Tianzun", things have gradually begun to change. Especially since the eleventh volume, I have tried to change many writing methods. For example, in the second half of the previous volume, I wrote about Wu Yuan's breakthroughs one after another and his understanding of different tricks. I have tried to simplify and abbreviate the process as much as possible, because I know that readers are not very interested in these.

Writing about the treasures obtained, just write down the key points without going into more details. It's just that every book is like life. The early stage is like boyhood. It is best to write when it is the most malleable. It is all blank paper and can be freely used. The later stage is like old age, which is the hardest to write and the most difficult to give birth to. The traces of the past will affect the book. Now, the framework is already fixed, and a slight change may cause a chain reaction and lead to collapse.

Hence, many local frameworks have been set. Even if I have better ideas, I cannot overturn them. I can only improve them as much as possible.

I wrote "Hantian Emperor" from 17 to 20 years ago, which took three or four years to write. I wrote "Hongzhu" from 20 to 22 years ago, which took more than two years. During this process, short videos gradually emerged, but they have not evolved to where they are today. , and during this time, the online writing industry has also undergone earth-shaking changes.

The writing style and type have all undergone amazing changes.

System, data panel, point addition, roulette lottery, progress bar, skills, etc. have basically replaced the original writing mode.

But I have always been one of the 'conservatives'.

What impressed me most was when I was writing "Hongzhu", I once chatted in an author group and gave some advice to several new authors. I gave advice to others, but it was all wrong advice, which gave me great stimulation.

"Yuan Tian Zun" is still considered a traditional fantasy book, or the three books I wrote all fall into the category of traditional fantasy.

In fact, among the top 100 best-selling books in Qidian, there are really not many books that still insist on writing traditional fantasy fairy tales and can still write some achievements. Many great authors in this category either have poor results in their new books or Start transforming.

Sometimes, I myself feel very emotional. At that time, masters like Jin Yong and Gu Long promoted martial arts novels, which was the trend at that time. Since the 1980s and 1990s, martial arts has gradually declined. In the new century, traditional fantasy fairy tales have basically replaced traditional martial arts in online novels. There is also something like "reducing the shock of less important personnel", which was originally intended to increase the sense of refreshment, but now a lot of it has been cut off.

But there are still some suggestions that I can only ignore, just like a building is about to be topped out. At this time, even if the floor layout is unreasonable or the balcony of the apartment is in the wrong direction, it can no longer be changed.

The pace of each volume will be faster in the follow-up, but it is impossible to completely cut off the groundwork.

As an author, my personal suggestion is that if you feel that the pace of preparation in the early stages of each volume is slow, you can wait until the entire volume is completed before reading it as a whole.

Because it is indeed impossible to have a climax in each chapter.

Every time I finish a volume, I read it all 1-2 times to judge what areas are still missing. I personally feel that since the tenth volume, the fluency and completion of each volume are still good.

There is indeed a big difference between reading serially and reading the entire volume.

Secondly, I am very aware of another point, which is the difference in update speed. If it is the peak period, several chapters may be updated a day, which can complete the preparation process at once.
