You Are The Star Tonight 13 THE CALL

After endless arguments with his mother and girlfriend he finally agreed to call Tara, somewhere in his heart he knew that Tara can't do this but the situations were depicting a different story.

IN AUSTRALIA, THE SEN BUILDING.

" Finally we are finished Miss Tara, congratulations on our new collaboration we hope to have a successful business collaboration with your company" after working for nearly 10 hours non stop Mr. Peterson was delighted with the outcome, he really liked this young girl.

"Congratulations to you too Mr. Peterson, I hope we can reach the height of success together" Tara said sincerely.

"Yes yes Miss Tara definitely we will".

Then Tara bid her goodbye to the officials present there she was really delighted as the outcome of the meeting were as expected. Thinking about how happy her eldest brother will be a small smile spread on her tired yet beautiful face.

A certain person's eyes just pop out of the socket...it was non other than the legendary CEO himself (who was also your Mr.Handsome). He can't believe that the girl leaving his office was none another than his Sunshine...what was she doing here?

He turned towards his secretary and asked in a straight but somewhat excited voice

"Who is that girl?" his eyes were twinkling.

"Oh! she is Miss Tara...she was the representative from DE GROUP side for today's meeting" his secretary informed him with enthusiasm in his voice the young girl before him was really exceptional.

"Tara...means star...that's such a great name" his face was beaming with happiness atlast he knew the name of his Sunshine girl, no, his star.

Then something suddenly stroked him hard, she was the girl who was there for the meeting, clearly stating he missed his chance to sit with his girl...so bad.

He was clearly regretting his idea to skip the meeting, but he was not atall in the mood to join the meeting that time, but still missed chances hurt a lot.

"We have finalized the deal right?"

"Yes sir her terms and point of view were exceptional, Mr. Peterson was very delighted to seal the deal with her company".

"Oh! that's good then" a rare smile spread on his face.

This clearly means that he can meet his Sunshine girl again... that's good.

"Increase the salary of Mr. Peterson and make your month end bonus double" after saying this he proceeded towards the main gate.

On the other hand his poor secretary was wiping his imaginary tears how come this cold human being was so generous today...god bless my heart for surviving his sudden generosity.

Tara just came out of the office that her cell phone started ringing, glancing on the number flashing on her mobile she was clearly dissatisfied. It was Dhruva's number but why was he calling her.

"Hello..." Tara voice was a bit indifferent and cold.

"Hello Tara what do you want really...how can you be this pathetic" Dhruva was totally convinced by his mother and girlfriend that Tara was the reason for his current state, so he was naturally angry on Tara.

"What do you mean Dhruva?" Tara was a bit confused.

" What do I mean...huh now you are acting all pure and innocent!"

"Dhruva you can't talk with me like that... I am not your girlfriend anymore...so behave yourself" Tara was very angry by his behavior.

"What behave myself? huh then you should learn it urself first"

"Just because I left you, you started playing dirty...is this how cultured you are?"

"Listen Dhruva I seriously don't know what the hell are you talking about but listen one thing clearly...I just don't care that who left or who betrayed me, I have a hell lot of work to do" Tara was loosing her temper now all the frustration pilled up inside her were now coming out.

"Huh! work...of course seducing your seniors is really considered as a big work"

Tara was shocked... how can he say something like this about her, he thinks that she is that of girl who climb up the ladder by seducing the seniors. Hiding her identity was her decision but now she was regretting it... he was crossing the line now.

"What did you just say?"

"I said that you are a cheap woman who seduces her seniors to get her work done...do you get it now" Dhruva was practically screaming now.

"Listen Dhruva whatever I am that doesn't concern you" she was so tired to give him an explanation and moreover who was he...his own character was questionable and now he was questioning her character...means seriously.

"Ya ya why would it concern me...you destroyed my whole career and pride now you are asking me why would it concern me!"

"Who destroyed your career?" Tara can't understand any of his allegations what the hell was he talking about.

" Oh my pure Beauty you don't know anything...the whole country is against me now everyone is criticizing me and your media company is provoking citizens to go against me...the income tax people have raid my house and a whole investigation team is assigned to look after my case... they are criticizing me for bribing...huh and you are busy here acting all innocent".

Tara was a bit shocked first as she knew that somewhere her brothers were engaged in the media part but how can someone initiate a income tax investigation that needs a lot of power. Little did she knew that her third eldest brother hold much more power than she could even imagine.

"Listen Dhruva I am out of the Country so I really don't know about this case...moreover how can provoke the income tax department they are untouchable".

"Oh! so you are not involved right...you want me to believe your bullshit"

" It doesn't matter to me if you believe or not that's your problem not mine"

"Listen Tara I will never forgive for this...you are the cheapest woman I have ever met...you are biggest mistake of my life... I just hate you and everything related to you".

Mistake... I was a mistake in his life...wow this was really something I deserved for loving him unconditionally.

The phone was long disconnected but Tara was rooted on that place she can't believe that Dhruva thinks so bad about her...so bad.

A tear fall from her beautiful brown eyes she was shattered, it was okay to leave her but why was he criticizing her character. For a girl her character values a lot just because things were not going according to his will he was ready to question her character. He was the biggest mistake of her life how can she loved someone so cheap.

But the words have a great impact on her she was totally dazed she started walking without even noticing the way she was going and suddenly a loud sound of horn came and.... swoosh....
