Kian who was wearing a black shirt with a striped brown pant came into her view the moment she opened the door.

"What nonsense are you speaking....who wants to see you all day long....let's go...or we wil be late for the party" Tara hurriedly grabbed her phone and bag and left her condo stumbling here and there. She took a mental note to never provoke this handsome beast ever again he was way too dangerous for her little heart.

Behind her pearls of laughter can be heard which sounded as soothing as the sound of rain to her ears.

"Tara wait for me...." Kian ran forward to grab the beauty who was way too nervous to even look at him.

In the car Tara was staring outside the window when suddenly a cold hand held her warm ones into them slowly. She looked straight at those blue eyes that were no less attractive than the night sky outside. She smiled when she noticed how his hands perfectly fit in her hands.

Kian who was observing her from the beginning of journey felt some what curious about what the lady beside him was thinking like that.

"Tara...what are you thinking like that?" Kian questioned before returning his eyes towards the road infornt.

"Nothing...just thinking how optimistic we humans are...every year we celebrate New year as if everything will change from tomorrow but we all know in our heart that nothing will... tomorrow will be same as today...but still we celebrate New year as if all the sufferings of this year will end here" Tara smiled but Kian was able to notice the tinge of sadness in her eyes.

"Tara...it's life we can't always move forward without taking the baggages of past...but this new year gives you this chance...every new year some how promise a new beginning...a new resolution and a new way to life....and that's why it's so important" Kian held her hands a bit tightly as if assuring her that this new year will definitely start a new beginning.

"Maybe...I really wish tomorrow will be a very new beginning for all of us" Tara looked at Kian and smiled radiantly.

"It will be sunshine..." Kian kissed the back of her hand lovingly and their drive continued towards the new beginning.

Both of them reached the party which was organised in the villa owned by Sourav.

The night was dark and the yellow lights were twinkling everywhere making the place looking all mesmerizing. The rooftop where the party was organised was dooned with tiny lights everywhere which made it look like the stars and the sky.

The moment Sourav spotted both Tara and Kian he came forward and hugged Tara tightly.

"I missed you baby girl..." Sourav fondly rubbed her shoulders.

"We met just two days ago only..." Tara said to her brother in a soft tone.

"Still...." Sourav pouted like a two year old child.

Sourav then hugged Kian too and both of them exchanged some pleasantries.

Tara then spotted her group of friends where she literally ran towards them and hugged everyone.

The party was slowly going crazy as the night was becoming dark.

Dancing, singing everyone was now ready to welcome the new year with open hands when the most unexpected guest entered the rooftop.

An awkward silence can be observed throughout the area which made the environment odd.
