Getting his answer, Shen Tianyu turned back around with a smile and continued to wait in silence . However, as soon as she faced the front, her face became melancholic . Then the couple walked their separate ways, each to their own stage . The Junzhu Wen Ya was staring at Shen Tianyu's back with a grim light . She was relegated to the 1st stage, one stage away from Shen Tianyu . She couldn't fight her but she should be able to in the semifinals, if they both passed .

There were a bunch of people on each stone stage with a referee on the side . There was a gong next to each referee to be used to announce the end of the round . Shen Tianyu, with her common clothes stood amongst the crowd on the second stage . Surprisingly, she stood out even among the contestants with her valiant yet carefree air .

"The 3rd National Election Tournment for Jing Country is about to begin! The last three contestants on each stage will advance to the next round . Please try not to severely injure someone when you push them off the stage! That's all!" The referee announced a summary of the rules again and picked up the stick to strike the gong .

Gong!

Immediately, a tense air arose from all the stages . Everyone was on guard, some were trying to watch and wait . Some immediately rushed in . At the drop of a hat, chaos broke out .

On Stage 2, Shen Tianyu was still standing as relaxed as ever, as if the tournament hadn't started yet . A boy wearing faded blue robes that was standing nearby sneered at her . "This lady, did you not hear the gong? The competition's started yet you're looking as relaxed as ever . "

"Those that are destined to win will win those that won't will not . What's the use in worrying so much about it?" She replied relaxedly .

"Humph . Such words are only spoken by losers!" He charged at her with his wooden sword raised without further warning . Shen Tianyu merely stared at him calmly . When he was about to strike down, she blocked his sword with hers, which she held in one hand . She then lashed out with her opposite leg and kicked his hips . He went rolling like a donkey but she couldn't see where he stopped . Because by then, the fights on Stage 2 had already broken out . A bunch of figures fighting blocked her sight . Everyone was fighting those standing close to them . A few, that perhaps knew each other, worked in pairs to take down other competitors . As for the boy, he had already fallen off the stage . Even if she was suppressing her aura, a kick from a Golden Core level was not something one can take so easily and be unscathed . He should be glad she held back and didn't make him fly into the wall .

Shen Tianyu looked around her stage bored . Perhaps because the others had seen how she easily kicked that boy off the stage, everyone was consciously keeping their distance from her . 'Heh . When she got to the other end of the stage, she jumped up . In a beautiful backward somersault, she landed where she started . It was as if she was signaling the end of her fatal dance . There were still around 10 people left .

"How dishonorable!" One of the remaining boys shouted .

She cocked her head . "What is?"

"Attacking like a thief! Completely unlike a warrior!" He then turned to the people around him . "Brothers, let's take her down first! We can worry about the contest later . Such a person cannot represent our Jing Country!"

Shen Tianyu merely cocked her eyebrows in amusement . 'I was raised by mercenary assassins, if I didn't attack like them, who would I copy?'

A mass of ten people, consisting of men and women rushed at Shen Tianyu, all to take her out first . If she negotiated, perhaps a few would deflect, however . . .

Just one move . Just one move and this young girl at Foundation Establishment level had kicked off eight contestants, ending the competition . And it didn't look like martial arts at all, but rather, a dance move . The flutter of the clothes and the grace of the girl was comparable to that of a fairy descending to the Earth for the first time .
