"The servants here are well-disciplined . " Rong Jian commented . He knew that even with the mask, his aura and looks attracted many gazes . Just because he never responded in the slightest to them didn't mean he didn't know . In fact, the mask added a mysterious air that somewhat added to other's attention . However, the maid serving them had never let her gaze linger on him and even looked at him as little as possible, as if trying to act like he wasn't there . Shen Tianyu chuckled . "That seems so . " She answered without further comment . 'How could they dare? Sitting at the desk was the glamorously dressed woman that had come to greet them before . She was very a vivid dress, whose base color was teal . The coat itself had a green collar that ran down the length of the dress with flowers embroidered on it . The edges of the sleeves had a golden layer and a pink layer before the teal colored sleeves showed themselves with golden symbols . Her hair was loose and flowed down her back like a lustrous black sheet . On her head was a big headdress, a lotus being the centerpiece . Around it were dangling flower hairpins . Her waist was tied with a sash with gold edges . Hanging on to the sash was a red tasseled green jade ornament of an eagle . Her nails were painted in a shiny red with some housing single pearls, while others held gold leaves .

"Hey, Wuchang(1) . How are things?" Shen Tianyu asked with a friendly smile on her face .

The woman, Wuchang, got up from her seat and gracefully walked over to them and bent her back in an elegant bow . "Miss, it really is an honor to have you visit this humble place . "

Shen Tianyu held her hands out to pull her up like an Emperor would when a subject bowed to him . "What humble? This place is one of my financial backers, of course I would visit . Besides, you guys have sway even over the Emperor's of kingdoms, you have some face to call yourselves humble . That's degrading everyone that is deferential to you . "

Wuchang got up with a small smile . "Of course that's not the case . But if the Old Master hears I didn't address in such a way, he would be unhappy . "

"That old geezer again . . . " Shen Tianyu sighed . then, she brightened up again . "Anyways, do you have the two men that had sparked the experiment in the auction hall? I want to meet them . "

"Yes, of course . I will lead you there . " Wuchang started walking when Shen Tianyu held out a hand to stop her . "You have work to do, you can just have a servant lead us . "

"But one needs momentary exercise even when they are a cultivator, especially if one is stuck doing desk work the whole day, or else it'll be unhealthy . " Wuchang replied .

Shen Tianyu just retracted her hands and gave a helpless smile with a shrug . At this silent retreat, Wuchang walked forward again . This time, leading them directly to a room on the fourth floor .

The two gentlemen, one seductive and one masculine were led to a fourth floor room as soon as the auction was over . When they had proposed the experiment, Wuchang had already sent servants to guard outside their doors to make sure they don't try to run away once the auction was over . They were currently in the middle of negotiating how much each one would pay with the Vice-Manager who had just left when Shen Tianyu had arrived .

There was one isolated room on the fourth floor . No other rooms around it was occupied and it was guarded with Lotus Pavilion's men and a few maidservants . Without obstruction and without knocking, Wuchang pushed open the door to the room . The three quickly entered and Wuchang closed the door behind them .

"Manager, Miss, and . . . Miss's friend . " a mellow voice sounded behind them . Shen Tianyu turned to see a bowing Vice-manager .

She helped him up and smiled at him . "Yo, how are negotiations going?"

His eyes darted around for a brief second before they stabilized . "The negotiations are still ongoing . If Miss would only give me a little bit more time . . . "

"It has been hard on you, we'll take it from here . " Shen Tianyu waved her hand and gestured for him to leave . He bowed at them again before he finally left, a cold light flashing past his eyes before he closed the door .

Shen Tianyu looked at the two men in the room . One was wearing a cherry pink robe with his lapels open, almost exposing his pink blossoms . There were red flowers embroidered all over his robe . He was lounging on a couch, a painted fan in his hand of plum blossoms . His hair was hanging loosely around him . His eyebrows raised in a seductive questioning look . His lips were a healthy red and soft-looking . 'He really is advertising his seductiveness to the max . ' She thought .

She glanced at the other man . He wasn't as robust and muscular as a military man but there was a masculine air about him . He wore an appropriate, plain dark green robe . His hair was tied in a simple ponytail fashion atop his head . On his back was a long sword, fastened across diagonally across his back . His face had a stern expression but there was a surprised look in his eyes . Contrary to the other man, he looked like a stern brother . Their seating also showed their difference to each other, the stern brother was sitting properly in a chair at one corner of the room while the seductive fox lounged on a couch directly across from where the Vice-Manager had been sitting .
