Ming Su opened the door with her head bowed and walked in . "Miss, a customer called Rong Jian said he misses you dearly and wishes to see you . "

Shen Tianyu revealed a slight smile and then fell into her thoughts . "He should have heard of what happened at the Shen Estate by now yet he wants to see me?" She got up and walked to the door .

"Miss?" Ming Su asked, surprised . 'She had said she would be unavailable today and in her room, where was she going?'

"I'll go meet him . Tell him to come to my second floor room . " Shen Tianyu responded as she walked forward, towards her second floor room that was always reserved for her .

"Yes . " Ming Su bowed and walked back to the Main Hall . Though she questioned why her Miss suddenly changed her mind, it was not her position to question it .

Ming Su passed Shen Tianyu's message to Rong Jian and told him she was waiting for him in her room . Ming Su didn't need to worry about her Miss, she was confident that her Miss would be able to escape, at the very least, if he ever tried to take advantage of or harm her .

Rong Jian knocked on the door and only when he heard Shen Tianyu's familiar voice telling him to come in, did he open the door and walked in, closing it behind him .

"I'm surprised Young Master Rong has such good manners . " Shen Tianyu said as she laid on a chaise in the room . The room was covered in white plaster, covering the wood underneath . In front of the door hung pink cloth, tied to the sides on poles . On the right side of the door, was a bed with a square bedframe . Similarly, pink cloth was tied at it's side to the bed frame . Under the window at the other end of the room, across from the door, was a chaise . The window, unlike the one in the Bird of Paradise room, was circular and framed with carved wood . Currently, white cloth was covering it, blocking the lights from outside . Shen Tianyu laid on the white chaise beneath it .

Rong Jian chuckled . "Tian Feng, what do you mean by that? This Young Master has always been like this?"

"I would reckon when called to a courtesan's room, men would barge in . Either because they are too excited or in my case right now, want to ask me something . "

"I've interacted with you for so long but I've only found out today . It seems Tian Feng really views us men unfavorably . "

Rong Jian walked over and sat down on the edge of the bed, looking at her with a serious expression . "Is it true you were in charge of the destruction of the Shen Family?"

"Yes . Is Young Master Rong disillusioned?"Shen Tianyu said with a smile on her face .

Rong Jian shook his head . "Not at all . In fact, I think it's quite good . "

Shen Tianyu widened her eyes in surprise . "Why do you think so?"

"Tian Feng, they have treated you so bad . Naturally, it should be paid back . " He showed a somewhat self-deprecating smile . "Are you disillusioned with me now? Since I have this thinking . "

"T-this . . . Um . . . you see . . . us . . . " Shen Tianyu noticed his face was red, including his ears . She smiled and got off her chaise, walking toward him . She sat down next to him on the bed, as if to encourage him .

Noticing this, Rong Jian got even more embarrassed . "Uh . . . "

"Go on . " Shen Tianyu encouraged him with a smile . 'Never thought there would be a day this Young Master got so embarrassed . ' She thought .

It's more informal than an actual marriage engagement but it's also more convenient as it's easier to break off than a marriage engagement . " Shen Tianyu explained .

"But I know I want to marry you . " Rong Jian stated with a serious face .

"But we still don't know each other that well . Besides, I haven't decided, ah . Give me some more time . " Shen Tianyu responded .
