There was a jolt amongst the group hiding there . A few turned around, trying to run away but Shen Tianyu noticed .

"No need to hide or run away now . I already saw you, what's the point?"

"Ahahaha . . . Don't be so mad, we were just worried . . . ," Sung Ming appeared from the stairway, scratching the back of his head sheepishly .

"Oh? Do I look mad?" Shen Tianyu countered, a smile hanging on her lips .

"No, no . You don't . " Sung Ming shook his head with a small smile .

"I told you she would be fine, but you had to see . . . ," Mu Shenchou appeared behind her, complaining . As the two men started arguing, the rest of the group that had been hiding at the stairway slowly spilled into the hall sheepishly .

Shen Tianyu sighed . "Really, I appreciate your worry, but you guys worry too much . But well, at least I have another excuse to deal with him . Shen Tianyu revealed an evil smile and a shiver ran down the spine of those present .

'The brat will regret this very soon . ' Sung Ming lamented as he lit a candle for Wen Ruocheng in his heart .

"Well then, what as you guys still here for? I'm fine so just . go back to work . I was just about to break through to Level 4 . Go on . " Shen Tianyu shooed them away with her hands . Sung Ming and Mu Shenchou left her, exasperated, and the others followed . Ming Su bowed to her before turning around and leaving with the group . Shen Tianyu walked back to the bed with a smile on her face and continued cultivating .

The Next Day Afternoon

Shen Tianyu returned to her body, as shehad reached Level 4 and stabalized her cultivation base . She then walked downstairs and arrived in the office, in front of the working Sung Ming .

"Sung Ming," she called out . The Manager broke from his work and looked up at her . "Do you know if Wen Ruocheng will be coming tonight?"

"Who knows? No one went to service hint he whole night last night and he left looking annoyed . I reckon he won't be coming tonight . But who knows what he's thinking?"

"Shen Tianyu smiled . "Perfect . I'll be going to the Wen family now, send some Inner Guards to come with me . " She sat down on the couch again, waiting for her bodyguards to come .

Sung Ming sighed as he walked out of the room to inform the nearest guard to bring Mu Shenchou to the office, then returned and went back to the paperwork he was working on . Unexpectedly, Shen Tianyu ibediently sat and waited for Mu Shenchou . Then again, she didn't have to wait very long . Mu Shenchou soon entered the room carrying a tea set on a tray . He bowed to Shen Tianyu holding the tray and prepared some tea for her . After placing it on the low table, he retreated to stand behind the couch she was sitting on . Shen Tianyu picked up the porcelain teacup and smelled the trail of steam coming off it .

"Hm . . . this is . . . Dragon Well tea?" She asked, wrinkling her brows .

Unable to see her wrinkled brow, Mu Shenchou answered . "Yes, it is Dragon Well tea, I'm surprised Miss was able to tell . "

"Something so expensive, why am I drinking this?"

Mu Shenchou made a surprised face . "If not Miss, then who should we serve it to?"

"Important guests, of course . "

"Dragon Well tea is such high-grade tea . If Miss isn't served this tea, who dares to drink our Dragon Well tea?"

Shen Tianyu sighedd before taking a sip . m 'Even in my past life, I was never a luxurious person, not even after my compang had took off . I was always just forced to show off fancy things by my vice-president and secretary . Such luxurious and high-grade tea is wasted on little old me . '

"Mm . . . It's quite good . No wonder it's so expensive and highly praised!" Shen Tianyu said after her first sip . "Yes, Miss . " Mu Shenchou did an obeisance before walking out of the room . When Shen Tianyu was abut half finished with the first cup of tea, he walked back into the office with four men in tow .

"Miss, what do you think about these four?" Mu Shenchou asked .

Shen Tianyu nodded and said "Very good . I'll go with them . Xia Ji will be the leader for this time . "

"Yes, Miss!" the guard named Xia Ji shouted aS he kneeled on the floor with his left leg and his left hand over his heart . He then led his temporary subordinates, who had just done the same pose, to vow . "We will protect Miss with our lives and obey Miss's every command!"

Shen Tianyu nodded in satisfaction, a smile on her face . "Good . I will be relying on you . Though, I'm sure we needn't worry about my . life wig h the Wen family . Let's go!" Shen Tianyu commanded as she walked out of the office and Lavender Palace as Sung Ming and Mu Shenchou stayed behind .

As tgegroup . of five walked down the main road, many sopped and stared at them . A beauty with four handsome guards would obviously draw attention . Even more so, if the beauty was the formerly saltless, timid and useless daughter of a Minister, who was sold off by her own father .

Initially, Shen Tianyu thought the gazes were just the bodyguards surrounding her until she realized, a little later, she had yet to change out of her debut outfit from last night!

'Oh well, too late to turn back and change now . Besides, I feel pretty in this, might as well bask in it for a while longer . '

They soon arrived in front of the Wen Residence amidst the crowd . By now, many people had heard about what happened at Lavender Palace last night .
