Qianlu kingdom, located in the East of Dong Qi continent used to be an agrarian society but upon seeing the advancements and successes of Rikui kingdom, proceeded to copy them . However, because Rikui's politics were tailored specifically for their own citizens, it didn't quite fit with Qianlu and almost ended up in a massive war within the kingdom comprised of different factions . That was where Tianan came in, supporting the government with their superior military and quashing insurrections . It is now more or less a tributary kingdom to Tianan, who provides them with the food needed to sustain their population and land size .
"But a merchant isn't as important as an official and you know how officials look down on merchants despite some of them making more money than the other . Anyways, Qianlu is trying to rectify itself so if a merchant says he's sending his children to learn for the sake of the country, you think they'd refuse?"

Qianlu copied Rikui's policies but the society wasn't the same, even here there's a stigma of a woman issuing a divorce so what would it be like there? Anyways, she started to become low key and despite being the main wife, she has none of the power and aside from being tolerantly nice to her in public occasions, her husband doesn't care that she's being bullied by the concubines at home . Though Lun Aoman and Lun Chang were his first children so he does hold at least a little affection for them so he made sure they didn't suffer too much, at least not to the point that they became malnourished . Anyways, at the behest of one of the more affluent concubines, he sent them here to study . I don't know if he's dumb or just doesn't care but it's obvious that those women just wanted to send them away so they couldn't build their influence within the family or city which would then make it hard for Lun Aoman to inherit the family wealth . Though it's landmass doesn't allow it to have a big population, they have developed many tactics to fend off armies that are large in number but with not as many talents, such as the Tianan army . It is usually neutral but will try to make economic ties, which usually brings it closer to the sea trade heavy Rikui than the militaristic Tianan . Zhandi is in the middle of the continent and has been involved in a lot of disputes between hostile nations . It tried to imitate Rikui just like Qianlu did but failed even more spectacularly due to opposing forces putting their hands into the country's politics . Though it is completely in shambles right now, it still technically has a ruling power and the other nations have yet to take it over . Though they are thinking of ways to slowly carve out pieces of it for themselves . From more recent news, Tianan was the most anxious about obtaining the landmass . However, the other non-allied nations are wary of it's militaristic nature and doesn't want them to have it . So although Rikui and Mingya have almost no intentions to expand, they are putting their joint hands into the country to stop the control of Tianan . And the people themselves originally did not want to be a part of Tianan seeing how they were but some are starting to think otherwise with the mindset of 'it's better to loose your freedom than letting you and your children starve to death or get maimed by lawless gangs' .
