Curious, she walked over to the couch and picked up the scroll . On it were merely characters of the elements in a circle surrounding a lone character: Wind, Water, Wood, and Fire surrounding Lightning . The character for Wind was inside a simplistic drawing of a shrine . It was the only character not completely on it's own . Curious, Shen Tianyu touched the character for Wind and a the paper rippled, as if she had touched water . Then, a rush of information flooded her mind . Thinking why the other characters weer completely alone, she tried touching the "Fire" character but nothing happened .

She frowned as she thought . 'Is this like an role playing game-type system where the other characters and shrines will unlock when I reached a certain level for each?'

She then rolled the scroll back up, placed it back on the couch and quickly exited her space . Her body opened it's eyes abruptly and practically jumped off the bed, rushing out of her room . She quickly ran down a flight of stairs and towards a room at the end of the second floor . Stopping in front of the door, she heard more clearly than ever the sound yelling for help behind the doors . She then kicked down the door and burst into the room shouting: "Hey, What are you doing?!"

On the frameless bed in the middle of the room laid a beautiful man with silver-white hair and shining, deep mauve eyes filled with tears . His body was thin, willowy, and feminine, almost like a female beauty, if not for the absence of the lumps of fat that accompany a woman's chest, wearing a disheveled, plain, cream colored robe . On top of him, pinning down his arms on each side of his head, was a muscular man wearing a loose dark grey robe with black embroidering, as if he was in the middle of taking it off . He had a somewhat handsome face that was twisted by the anger of being interrupted, with black eyes flashing annoyance . Both of them were looking at the red robed girl that had burst into the room, one with hope, the other with annoyance .

"What are you doing, Young Master Wen?" She asked with her hands on her hips and her brows furrowed .

"What are YOU doing?" the muscular man retorted her with ill-contained fury as he kept himself on top of the beautiful man .

"Wen Ruocheng, did you forget the rules of Lavender Palace?" She started walking to the two on the bed .

"What? This is just some playing . Why are you being so alarmed?" Wen Ruocheng sneered . 'So what? There's no proof as long as he doesn't talk . Besides, I've never seen her before, she must be new . She can't possibly think of offending a customer, lest her reputation be ruined by that customer before she becomes popular!'

"Play? Then why is he looking so panicked and was yelling for help so desperately? You think I'm stupid?" Shen Tianyu returned, looking at him with disdain . 'Well, I only heard it because of the 'gift' given to me by the Wind Shrine . It's so noisy here, and since no one has been here yet, probably no one heard him . '

"Ha! How can you be so sure? Maybe he's good at acting?" Wen Ruocheng argued . 'So what if it's Lavender Palace? It's only a little brothel house . Surely they wouldn't ban a customer just because of a little worker and servant . '

"What's going on?!" a male voice sounded right outside the door frame of the room . A second later, a guard dressed in light armor over his chest and lower body entered the room . All the people in the room turned to look at him if, they could . Shen Tianyu opened her mouth and explained .

"Young Master Wen is forcing this poor man . Why didn't anyone hear him yelling for help?" She asked .

The guard turned to the muscular man who was still on top of the "poor man" on the bed . "Young Master Wen, please get off him . Lavender Palace does not allow customers to force our employees, courtesans or servants . "

Wen Ruocheng, with anger clearly showing on his face, got off the feminine man, and asked in a low voice .

"Lavender Palace would turn away a customer for a mere servant?"

"Even if you were the Emperor, we would still treat you the same if you did this . " The guard responded with mild annoyance . 'These young masters are really too arrogant . That's right even if you were the Emperor, we would treat you the same . You think you, a son of a minister, is higher than the Emperor?'

Before she had entered the room, Shen Tianyu had used her "gift" to try to pull a nearby guard into the fray . But even she did not expect one to arrive so fast . 'Was he patrolling? Or was he nearby all along?'

She was pulled back by her thoughts by a harsh laughter in the room . When she turned, she saw it was coming from Wen Ruocheng . "Lavender Palace is really great ah?! Fine . Since you have deprived me of my fun, don't expect mercy from the Wen family when the time comes! Shen Tianyu!" At the last second, Wen Ruocheng directed his anger at Shen Tianyu instead of Lavender Palace . Her father had told him never to offend Lavender Palace, ah! But for this b*tch, Shen Tianyu, it was way easier . As for whether to oppose Lavender Palace because of this, he had to talk to the fmaily to see if it was worth it .
