The Mid-heaven Emperor Lord's face turned ashen. A great many of his techniques originated from Ancient Times, and without anyone to teach him, he had managed to master the essence on his own–a rare talent in the world.
But this also meant that the more he had mastered the essence, the more useless his techniques became against the Qilin Immortal. Most of his repertoire had no effect on his opponent.
