Right after he said that, he suddenly laughed out loud. "I believe Lady Xiao is already here?"

Jin Wu was stunned. His face darkened as he turned to look, but no one was around.

"Boss Huang…?" He turned back and chuckled. "Don't scare me!"

"You fool. How proud of you to come back like that after being crippled of your martial arts. If Lady Xiao is such a smart lady, won't she follow you here knowing that she would find me?"

"She's not that brave, is she?"

However, it was still empty around them as nobody appeared.

Still, nobody responded.

Unbothered, Chu Li smiled. "There are six other masters waiting in ambush, right? Trying to play dumb? Call them out now, I'll settle them at once!"

Right away, Huang Feiyun looked displeased. He mentioned, "You're still quite capable. Well, I've underestimated you!"

"And I've overestimated you." Chu Li shook his head. "You can't disguise your inner desires and you're completely driven by your instincts. You're not going places!"

"What a joke, hehe!" Huang Feiyun licked his lips. Suddenly, he looked even more vicious as his killing intent grew stronger. "With just a small trick, you fell into my trap. How dare you speak like that?"

"Small trick?" Chu Li sighed. "Why did you need to put so much effort into this? You tried to test the waters but ended up harming your subordinates instead. If all of you were at our residence to set an ambush on us, we would've been crippled no matter how strong we were!"

Obviously, he was trying to cause disunity between them and to attack Huang Feiyun.

Indeed, it was important to test the waters or else fighting without any clue of their opponents' strengths would likely cause total destruction. Upon hearing him, six men fluttered toward them, whereby four entered through the window and two came up from the stairs. With that, Chu Li and Xiao Qi were completely surrounded.

Four elders and two middle-aged men stared at Xiao Qi coldly.

Chu Li remarked, "You've gathered quite a number of experts."

"Hehe, these are experts from my military!" Huang Feiyun was extremely proud. "Lady Xiao, please enlighten me. Attack!"

When he waved his hand, six men made their moves but they only attacked Chu Li.

Chu Li took a diagonal step and dodged the attack from four swords, one fist force, and one palm energy.

Huang Feiyun furrowed his brows.

While it looked as if he had dodged the attacks easily with one step, it was exquisite. He thought to himself, 'I wouldn't have been able to make that step. Head Chief Chu possess a superior step technique, I must force him to tell me what it is!'

Xiao Qi wielded her sword as fast as electric, but instead of saving Chu Li, she took a diagonal step forward to stab one of the elders in the chest. She performed the attack with such ease.

Subsequently, Huang Feiyun's face changed. After evaluating the situation for a while, he finally decided to pounce toward Xiao Qi as Chu Li was not very threatening. He pulled his sword out from his scabbard before he slashed it at Xiao Qing, quickly and ruthlessly.

Chu Li swung his hand gently.

"Tss!" Accompanied by a whistling sound, a flash of light was seen. One of the elders turned to stare at Chu Li in disbelief.

A flying blade had cut through his back and flew out from his chest before it was shot towards another middle-aged expert.

Taking advantage of when the middle-aged man tried to dodge the flying blade, Xiao Qi slid to avoid Huang Feiyun's sword and she then appeared in front of the middle-aged man. Following that, she stabbed her sword through his Dantian and crippled him of his martial art.

"Damn it!" Huang Feiyun yelled furiously.

Not only did he fail to suppress Xiao Qi by getting involved, but she had also managed to injure two of his men. Yet, the main culprit was Chu Li who was supposed to be crippled!

He felt like he had been fooled, thus he was filled with rage.

Even though he had always been self-assertive, he was still cautious. After Chu Li appeared, he observed carefully and found that Chu Li really had no inner energy. There were no signs of martial arts skills in him, and his eyes looked dull. Puzzled, he wondered, 'How could he shoot flying blades!'

Chu Li smiled. "It only takes me awhile to regain my martial art!"

"Damn—it—!" Huang Feiyun turned to pounce on Chu Li, where his sword formed an arc of light as he swung it at Chu Li.

Stepping diagonally again, Chu Li had dodged the attack easily.

With the combination of the Manifestation of Nature Restoration and the Omniscient Mirror, he had seen this coming long ago.

Huang Feiyun gritted his teeth as he flattened his sword in an attempt to cut through Chu Li horizontally. He expected this to be a sure hit as Chu Li had been negated of his martial art after all.
