The day before the quiz, Yuu walked to school with a heavy heart. Just as he stepped into the academy, students had already gathered around the front. Yuu wanted to pass through but was pushed away.

Passing the crowd, Yuu saw that the person being surrounded was Takamaru Chiko who had an angel-like smile as she greeted everyone. Yuu walked while looking over, then quickly made his way to the classroom.

[By the way, Yuri Academy offers dormitories for students. Students can go home twice, one for the New Year and the other for the holidays. If anything important comes up, they must apply for leave and cannot take time off on their own. 】

After Yuu put all his stuff in his room, he went to the classroom.

Yuu opened the door and saw Shirasawa Kazuko and Takamaru Chiko standing facing each other. Takamaru Chiko smiled at Shirasawa Kazuko, who was glaring at her angrily.

“Um, can I ask what happened?” Yuu slowly walked over but was stared at by Shirasawa Kazuko 😨.

“This quiz!” Shirasawa shouted.

Takamaru asked, “Are you declaring war?”

“Yes!”

“What do you want if you beat me?”

Shirasawa smiled. “I want you to concede defeat!” 

Takamaru looked at her and said, “Okay.”

“Huh?!” Yuu listened from the sidelines.

“What's the matter, Yuu? Would you like to join us too?” Takamaru asked.

“No thanks, I'm fine,” answered Yuu with a wave of his hand.

“Then you can be a judge!” Shirasawa said.

“Can I refuse?” Yuu smiled bitterly and started to sweat.

“Are you afraid?” Shirasawa's sneer made Yuu feel as if he couldn't refuse her.

“Okay, okay.” Yuu said helplessly 😧.

“Alright. Then we'll meet in the exam room tomorrow.” Shirasawa said as she leaned in towards Yuu's face and went back to her seat.

, why is this happening to me?”

“Hey, students. We're starting now.” Mr. Kawamata stepped into the classroom.

*After class*

“Ah, it's not very often that I get to go to the cafeteria!” Yuu walked out of the classroom, stretching as he headed to the cafeteria.

“Wow, there are so many people.” Yuu stood in the crowded cafeteria. He took his lunch box and looked for a place with fewer people to sit down.

“Mmm, the view is pretty nice here.” Yuu found a scenic spot to sit and heard a ruckus coming from behind.

“Eh? Wow!” Yuu turned around and went over. It was the scene from the morning all over again. Takamaru was surrounded by a crowd.

” Yuu palmed his forehead in distress. 'Just when I finally found a nice spot.' Yuu thought to himself. He picked up his lunch box and was about to walk away when Takamaru suddenly spoke.

“Dear students, please lower your voice. You'll disturb others.” At the end of her speech, the people surrounding her began to lower their voices. Seeing this, Yuu sat down again to eat his lunch. He thought that Takamaru might have spoken for him.

'What's Takamaru's story? Why are there so many people around her?' After Yuu finished eating, he went to the nearby courtyard and lay on the bench.
