"Where are the bodies?"

Feng Jianyu came straight to the point without beating around the bushes. Feng Junjie and Wang Shi shared a glance with each other before Wang Shi led him inside the building, "Follow me."

Wang Shi led them towards the second last floor of the multi-story building. As soon as they come out of the lift, a round face chubby man in his late 70's, wearing a white lab coat was already waiting for them to escort them to the lab.

He is the head of the department specialized in pathology and chemical engineering, his name is Dr. Millman.

"This way, please, gentlemen's," Dr. Millman's voice sounded robotic. He seemed disinterested in winning any award for hospitality.

Wang Shi and Feng brother's seemed unfazed by Dr. Millman's rigid behavior. They are very well aware that he is a man who kept his distance. His only dedication is towards science and nothing else matters to him. If it was not to show face to Feng Jianyu, he would have never bothered to escort them personally.

Feng Jianyu walked through the long corridor like a strict ruler, keeping his gaze towards the front. While Feng Junjie was keenly observing the highly skilled scientists busy doing experiments through the glass wall. The air was sterile but the pungent smell of disinfectant makes Feng Junjie cringe his nose.

"Please hurry", Dr. Millman urged them as he escorted them past the corridor towards the room where dead bodies were kept.

Soon they find themselves in front of the glass wall as Dr. Millman pointed towards it, "Here, these are the bodies…." Feng Jianyu looked through the window, clenching his fists tightly.

Those corpses were hideous. All their joint bones were jutting out from their flesh as if it had been deliberately twisted, turning them backward. There were various burn marks on the skin, multiple whiplashes, nails were plucked out from the fingers, and their skin has turned patchy dark…. It was clear they were tortured brutally before death.

"What the hell is this? This is completely inhuman!" Fighting a wave of nausea, Feng Junjie yelled, feeling bad for his people.

Feng Jianyu patted his brother's shoulder to comfort him and looked at Millman. "I want to know everything that had happened to them"

Dr. Millman saw Feng Jianyu's calm aura, but along with his calmness, he also noticed the dangerous glint flashing in his eyes. He smiled inwardly thinking about the upcoming doom of those who have offended Feng Jianyu. He knew very well, how dangerous this man can get if someone steps on his territory.

"Let's go to my office first" Dr. Millman grabbed the autopsy report from his assistant and escorted them towards his office.

As soon as they entered Dr. Millman's office, he explained without any further delay, "You've seen the physical conditions of the body, so I won't waste time on that. The major finding in the autopsy report is- one, they were tortured brutally to death. Second, we find traces of drugs inside their body. And third, they suffered the torture for a minimum of two weeks, as they have many old and new wounds on their body."

"You mean they were slowly tortured to death?" Feng Junjie's eyes widened in shock and Dr. Millman nodded his head in affirmation.

"What type of drugs have they used?" Wang Shi asked.

"These're not any ordinary drugs but experimental drugs, which are highly toxic and leave no chance for the person to hope for life. It rots you alive from inside out, a very painful thing to torture someone." Dr. Millman explained.

"Detailed drug analysis report will take minimum one month. Our experts have already started their research on it, and we'll try our best to find the source of this drug by studying its composition"

Feng Junjie asked curiously, "How will you find the source of this drug by studying its chemical composition"

Dr. Millman scoffed, "This drug is not an ordinary drug, so obviously you cannot buy its raw materials in any local grocery store. These chemicals are rare and in order to procure them, you've to pass through various formalities and paperwork. Once we are clear about the composition, we can get the list of all the places from where you can find the raw material to make this drug."

"But…"

Before Junjie could say anything, Dr. Wang Shi interrupted, "I know what you're thinking…. Obviously, there are chances that the raw material is stolen… but then our radius will shrink to only those labs that manufacture and use these kinds of chemicals. After that, we can skim through the CCTV footages…."

Dr. Millman nodded, "Exactly!" he sighed, "I know it will be a huge task and there is no guarantee of success. But this is the only option we have."

All three turned their gaze at Feng Jianyu, expecting to hear something from him. But he was lost in some other thoughts. His mind was flooded, thinking if Xiu Mei has any connection to all of this or is it just a coincidence that his team was killed while they were investigating about her. As he has many enemies, and this is not the first time that someone has attacked his territory, but he was unable to correlate this brutal torture to innocent Alice( Xiu Mei).

"Jianyu?" Wang Shi's eyes probed expectantly.

Feng Jianyu did not look up and kept his gaze lost before asking, "Dr. Millman, what else you know?"

"Umm…. A detailed psychology analysis of the killer" Dr. Millman answered and Feng Jianyu ordered, "Read it for me"

"Our in house Psychology experts studied the bodies of the victims, and they concluded that the killer is a psychopath. He is venting out his personal grudge by torturing his victims to this extent. Cough…. and… and….." Dr. Millman hesitated….

Feng Jianyu's brows rose up, "And?" His cold voice echoed inside the room sending chills run down everyone's spine, including Dr. Millman who subconsciously jumped in horror.

"And… probably he is holding grudge against you, CEO Feng"
