She was in complete awe with the place not because of how grand it is both from the inside and out, but because it looked rather decent enough for her own taste considering it was a night club. The whole place was adorned with elegant decor, polished funitures, high ceilings, and none of those tacky rich satin tapestries or ornate trinkets that she does not like.

It has a minimalist flair to it. It does not felt cramped at all.

The club appears to combine both old school with modern edginess with all furnitures and fixtures uniquely designed and has a touch of contemporary and traditional accents to it. It is extravagant indeed but humble in some way.

Laurice learned that the entire place was a premiere club and it is currently entitled as the most expensive party venue in the capital that is mostly frequented and patronized by tourists and locals and regulars alike.

She was accompanied by the staff to an elevator from the lounge leading to a private room upstairs where Cathy has long been waiting around.

While on their way, she inquired about the place and was even more stunned by the amenities inside the premises of the building. There was a designated concert venue on one of the floors, a separate techno club space for dancing and partying, bar space, selected few restaurants, a cafe, an exhibition space, a gym, an arcade video games area, a swimming pool area and a huge terrace on the top floor and some other private rooms and halls exclusive for members and special events.

Laurice was astounded with this discovery that she felt she was overseas instead. She can only imagine the amount of investment put on to this venture.

Her face turned a bit sour over the idea that with such flaunt post interiors and amenities and high-end entertainment options, she believed the menus throughout must be outrageously pricey as well.

No doubt, The Cube is exclusively for those who intended to throw ridiculous amount of money in a single night of partying or leisure and such.

Soon, Laurice was brought to the fourth level where enclosed doors occupied the most floor space and the moment the door on the further most part opened before her, her eyes instantly flew towards the woman who was standing upright with shoulders on her back on one corner of the room. Cathy was truly statuesque. It was quite a sight to behold. Her friend was truly beautiful and she was never afraid to show off her beauty. Unlike her who is a bit more reserved.

The woman smirked at Laurice with eyes beaming so visibly as if she was pleased with finally meeting her in person.

Cathy was clad with a dark gray european style long sleeve blazer and under that women suit, she was wearing a gray deep v-neck cami tank top, and her bottom pants was a vintage denim high waist. Her attire was paired with a sexy yellow square high heel lace-up casual pumps.

Laurice: " ... "

Laurice thought that she will never get used to meeting her high profile friends this way. Too extravagant. It's starting to hurt her eyes.

Laurice retracted her gaze from the woman and gave herself another look instead. She felt she was not dressed suitably for such venue and with Cathy around, she felt even more inferior with her own appearance.

Laurice was sporting a simple white summer cotton top, and cotton tight body wash cowboy trouser jeans. She also had her old pair of genuine leather flats woman oxfords on her feet. She was clothed a bit more basic compared to the classy woman before her.

It seemed she was dressed for a trip to the grocery instead.

Her inner confidence is the only thing she had left. And she fear it might soon as well be crumbling.

Catherine laughed at her friend's cute gesture. It was so unlike her to act this way. Honestly, Laurice wasn't looking shabby at all. She indeed dressed too simply and too casual but with her gorgeous body, she can obviously attract more men than her. She has such sexy curves that not even her loose clothing can conceal her fine assets. And that's exactly the reason why she wanted to meet her very soon. Good thing the humble heiress finally found her way back to her.

Cathy walked across Laurice and gave her a huge a warm hug.

"Gosh, i miss you so terribly, Liz. I'm glad you came back. I couldn't believe that i will only get to meet you here. We didn't even get to see each other back in the states. Are you staying here for good?" Cathy asked.

"You were busy." Laurice simply replied while looking at her with an expression that seems to say it was all her fault that they did not even met once since she moved to Milan.

Cathy answered back abruptly. "Hehe, well can't help it. I haven't quite established my brand yet. Its taking longer than expected. But honey, don't go clean on me, you were busy yourself!" Then she dragged Laurice by the shoulders towards the couch inside the magestic room exuding an elegant feminine charm.

"Hey, don't drag me. I'm beat you know." Laurice scoffed.

"Yeah and you're late. Just get yourself a personal driver already. An attractive guy to boot alright? Who knows, you two might clicked?! Oh! Oh! An indecent affair with your bodyguard. How ... ! "

"Cliche."

Before Cathy could even say 'romantic' Laurice interrupted her midsentence.

'There goes the cold ice princess.'

Cathy could not help but pity her friend. She said, "Do you not even have any romantic bones in your body honey? It's been a long time already since you've been in a relationship. Not all men are jerks you know."

"According to you." Laurice replied with a boorish expression. She lied her sore back on the couch and massaged her temple.

'Romance? Indecent Affair?'

Somehow the words were bothering her. An image of a certain brown eyed hottie flashed her eyes.

Cathy noticed that she was in a daze and was surprised when she saw her flushed face.

Cathy jumped right at her and exclaimed, "Meno Male!!! Who is it? Tell me. Oh! Was it the guy with the sexy bedroom voice last time?"

Her eyes were sparkling and gaping at Laurice who felt rather helpess under her daunting gaze.

"No one." Laurice annoyingly replied.

Cathy felt Laurice was hiding something from her based on her expression alone.

"Dai! I don't believe you. You can't hide the fact that you're blushing honey. So...?" Cathy was persistent. She will definitely not let her go if she would not confess to her atleast.

Laurice averted her gaze and replied unconsciously, "A stranger. I spent a night with a complete stranger." Her gaze was filled with longing.

Not noticing that she made quite a suggestive remark. Catherine gasped sharply from the shock upon hearing her words.
