‘Mr Crazy, confess,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘Is this car really yours?’

Da Tian Ting didn’t think Feng Kai Ze could afford a flashy car.

‘Remember my name is Feng Kai Ze,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

Feng Kai Ze wanted Da Tian Ting’s heart to be plastered with his name.

‘What’s the difference between Mr Crazy and Mr Feng?’ Da Tian Ting asked. ‘You’re still the same person.’

‘Feng Kai Ze,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

‘Later when the owner reports their car is stolen to the cops, remember you stealing their car has nothing to do with me,’ Da Tian Ting said.

Feng Kai Ze didn’t remember his fierce apple being that chatty.

‘You look poorer than me,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘How can this car really be yours? Confess, you’re not taking me to the hospital and you want to use me to take the fall for stealing this car.’

Sitting in the car, felt like Da Tian Ting was Feng Kai Ze’s accomplice.

Feng Kai Ze thought of an excuse to satisfy Da Tian Ting.

‘I borrowed this car from a friend,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

‘You should have told me the truth from the start,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘You made me worried for nothing.’

‘Sit comfortably and talk less,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

‘Don’t think I’m scared of you,’ Da Tian Ting said.

Everything about Feng Kai Ze’s friend’s car was priceless from the seatbelt to the door handles. It was flashier than Shang Duan Hua’s car. Shang Duan Hua never let Da Tian Ting sit in his car, she always looked at his car from the outside. She used to think Shang Duan Hua didn’t like people sitting in his car, but she finally understood that he didn’t want her to sit in his car. Thinking about how much Shang Duan Hua hated her made her lose interest in Feng Kai Ze’s friend’s car.

Feng Kai Ze wanted to distract Da Tian Ting from her depressing thoughts. He buckled her seatbelt.

‘Remember to buckle your seatbelt,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

For a second Da Tian Ting felt Feng Kai Ze cared about her. But she thought it must have been her imagination.

Da Tian Ting realised she spent more time with Feng Kai Ze in the last few days than the whole time Shang Duan Hua spent with her in the last ten years. If she was brutally honest, Shang Duan Hua treated her more like a distant acquaintance than a fiance.
