"You are being follow" "Protect the ring" "They are coming for you" "Beware of the god of justice"

Once the team heard the message together only an idiot couldn't tell that the whole incident was a warning from a person that knew they had the ring. Everyone at the Silverwing Auction House could feel the killing intent from the paladins the moment the followers of Louxx the Plaguebringer were trying to get their hands on the ring and they couldn't allow Evil Alignment Worshippers to get stronger. That would also explained the incident with the director of the Auction going back on his word and charging them a massive fee since he was a follower of the God of Justice.

The warnings also felt in line with what the Witch Doctor had been telling her on the way back to their room but she just hadn't experienced that kind of hate before, the higher their level went, the clearer the line drawn in the sand between alignments and there was a lot of conflict.

The team sent Igor to look for people tracking them around the restaurant but what he saw was the corpses of the paladins and people given statements of the events that transpired. There were alot of Coercers in the abyss and Igor knew their calling card so after listening to everything he put the pieces together and let the team know.

"YAY, I am not crazy"

"It is going to be bad the next couple of days so I think we should stay in and meditated while the storm outside passes. I would suggest to drink the Scaleborn Blood but that means that Riddick would probably move towards his second evolution and we don't know what the damage would be" Said Elune.

"Everything in the radius of 1 mile will be burned by Chaos Fire close to the third tier and then young master will consume all that energy from everything that died in the area to cement his evolution" responded Igor excitedly.

"Well...Let's put that plan on hold for now, in the meantime let's have Rahz and Midori drink it and see the changes while this war blows over".

Rahz had experienced death seeking pain with the change to his body and didn't really think there could be anything worse than what he already went through but he was so wrong. Even Midori's instinct was to cannibalize herself to stop the pain.

Rahz drank about a third of the blood from the crystal and immediately his cheeks flush, it was like tasting the best bourbon in the world, it was smooth and left a lingering heat on Rahz's throat. The flush came from the the mana still residing in it as it went to Rahz's head producing a feeling of being one with heaven and earth, all that stop 30 seconds later when he felt his heart was about to explode and everyone could actually hear the heartbeat.

BAADUM! BAADUM!

Next came the destruction and regeneration of his internal systems granting him a higher degree of assimilation with the chaos body previously granted by Fadall the God of War and moving his fire towards the second level changing all his runes to a purple hue.

The blood seem to have a will of its own and the moment it felt a live system trying to consume it, it fought like crazy. Instead of being completely digested as a form of energy it changed the structure of Rahz cells making them evolve towards the dragonkin structure. It was a good thing that there was not more blood otherwise Rahz could off become a true dragonkin filled with the same thoughts of elitism.

The change was a very beneficial one as Rahz affinity with fire increased and his Chaos Body got stronger. He now could wield chaos fire of the second level before evolution and his level was pushed to the peak of Level 19. However, as foretold by the God of War he couldn't evolve without reaching the temple.

Rahz was getting creepier by the day as his eyes switch to those of a dragon with a vertical pupil and a yellow color instead of the human white. The good thing was that the purple sheen that appear from time to time from the chaos energy was still there making him seem a little less creepier, however, he now had dragon nails like a beast person.

Midori's transformation was equally astonishing as she shed her skin and took a really dark metallic green color with black rings all around. Her length increased to 20 feet and now her diameter was about one and a half feet. Her scales truly looked like they could stop metal weaponry and there were protrusions starting to appear on her massive head which took a more dragon like look. With her new jaw, the power on her bite increased drastically and could tear the flesh of a second evolution Warrior with ease.

Midori's regeneration rate saw a vast improvement and her strength and agility increased as well. From the improved blood line came a dragon skill that combined with her deadly poison was devastating when use against a group of enemies, Poison Breath. The Whole process took Midori and Rahz almost a week and thanks to the gossip from the restaurant there was no need to go looking for news, they all came to them.

It took almost 2 weeks for the turmoil around the town to dissipate and for the reinforcements from the God of Justice to leave as well. Naas was a neutral Town and the purpose of the auction was to distract people from the Blood Harvester not to start a new wave of fear by threatening a war against other factions.

The problem of the ring was still there but as long as Elune didn't leave town, the diehard good alignment faction couldn't do anything about it for fear of disturbing the peace once more.

Not all the members of the God of Justice were out to punish "Evil", the ideals given by Odos were excellent principles to live by, however, things like "evil should be punish" were changed by the inflexible members of the Faction into Evil Alignment should be punish and so it started the persecution of any follower of an evil alignment god that many believed culminated in the separation of the alliance into the two cities.

Knock … Knock

Elune opened the door and saw Amber standing there with her daughter who immediately launched herself to give Rahz a hug.

"I missed you!!" Said Emma while she hugged each and everyone of the members of the team.

Amber smiled and came in while she was taken aback by the changes in the team. Specially Rahz's eyes that now looked more intimidating than ever before and the pressure that he generated thanks to the changes in his body oppressed her as a second evolution being.

"We came to invite you to her awaken ceremony tomorrow".

"That is amazing!!! Do you know what path you would like to pursue Emma"

Emma nodded her head and said, "I want to be a healer like sister Elune, I want to help my parents when they are old so they can live a long time"

"Make sure to let the Gods know tomorrow exactly what you want to accomplish and I am sure that you will have plenty of them wanting you as their follower". Said Rahz with a smile.

Amber talked to Elune about the incidents that happened during the past couple of weeks while Emma used Midori as a slide.

Ha Ha Ha!! The team laughed merrily and promise to be there the following day to celebrate the joyous occasion. In the meantime they decided to go to the alchemy shop for some Cryosilix before heading to the temple to rent a private altar so that Elune could communicate with Louxx about the ring in her possession.

The team left the Fair Lady and the scouts the Auction house assigned to the ring bearer activated and started to follow. Their final destination was the Temple of the Awaken where Emma was to have her ceremony the next day. The altars were a medium to contact the Gods and transformed their awesome powers into something the average joe could handle, and most of the time the private altar rooms were the ones being used as oppose to the main altar used for the awakenings. The rental price was 50 gold per use and they could be in there as little as a couple of minutes or as long as a few days. The rooms ensure complete privacy and nobody could peek at what was going on inside.

Elune went inside the private room and started the chants while she placed a drop of her blood on the altar so that Louxx the Plaguebringer could read all her past events.

"WONDERFUL!!! I knew your destiny was excellent when you completed the Evolution Task I demanded but I didn't think it was so intertwined with my legion. Odos followers are getting dumber and dumber with the years, they actually used the real item to fish a few of my followers and yet it still end up in your hands. Ha ha ha … Place the ring in the altar my child, I approved of your destiny and should you pass this tribulation, I will unlock its powers so you can start the road of the avatar."

Elune did as told and soon a beam of light fell on the ring and the ring started to crack and with every crack a translucent silhouette was visible underneath.
