The specter did a very deep bow towards Lord Darick, in his mind his job was a lot easier than what the guardians had to endure during their time at the Gate, specially the fact that they had to play the Role of the bad guy in order to assess the potential of those with great destiny.

Lord Darick looked at the group of young warriors helping one of their own drink the health potion taken from Chrysalis and nodded. This was the strength of the alliance, no matter their race or alignment when it came to defend their way of life they all united and fought together. The fifth gate was a representation of this sentiment, there was technology from the mighty Erudites that were experts in the creation of mage tools and amazing formations,Innovative technologies from the gnomes that love their wacky inventions and the amazing blacksmithing skills of the dwarves that provided weapons to all the elite members of the alliance.

"Well done young warriors, Tristan over there probably told you the story of how it was his fault that the Fifth Gate fell and that we were cursed by a spell cast by my counselor in order to kill as many Dragonkin as possible, however this was only half true. That night we were indeed caught off guard by the Dragonkin and were not able to defend the gate even with the help of the royal guards. The real orders Tristan brought over from the queen were to use the death curse and killed as many Dragonkin as possible and to then give our own weapons to tristan for safe keeping".

The moment they heard that, the whole team gasp as flashes of the 2 years they had spent in the gate trying to complete their mission came back and they realized that the all felt like a training camp, specially the guardians that never really manage to killed them having clear chances.

As Lord Darick was fading away a smiled could be seen on his face as he whispered the last piece of advice, " Don't ever forget my Scaleborn form and way of fighting as they are the true enemies to our way of life".

Rahz and the others felt their heart stirred as they learned of their ancestors sacrificed in the war. There was now a sense of duty that wasn't there before and a new resolution to achieve the Apex and protect their fellow Elysian.

It was a surreal experience, two years before their only goal was to make it to the abyss while getting strong enough to survive and see the world. Now the ante had increased and so did their resolve to make it to the top, if some giant lizards wanted to exterminate their way of life then they would fight tooth and nail and show that their ancestor sacrifice was not in vain.

Rahz took the books and placed them into the enchanted pouch while Elune took the Grimhold Doll into hers. The polearm went to Riddick that said "I like" and took a hold of it. Rahz didn't care about it as he prefered the feel of really heavy weapons like the 2 handed Axe that was all chipped and falling apart.

The name of the Polearm was Blood-Tempered Double Headed Ranseur which was something Riddick didn't care much about, but the moment he took it and fed it some energy, a rune activated and send a long list of enchantments and information to his mind.

In the past high level items used by the Elite fighters of the alliance were enchanted multiple times and as they were past down it was too difficult to tell everyone the skill of the devices so, they created a rune to tell the owner all the information about the device.

Adamantite Double Headed Polearm amplifies the damage of any skill used through this Polearm by 30 % ( give or take 5% I am a genius not a God .. Albert Fizzlecast). By Tempering the Polearm with the blood of a high level dragon we were able to create an Energy Blade Enchantment that uses the energy of the owner and creates half moon energy blades as long as energy is provided. Thanks to the properties of the material it will never dull and stays sharp 100 % of the time. This Weapon can be recalled by the owner who is register as the primary user by a drop of blood.

Compared to the Polearm, the Elementium Flower seem to be lacking but Darick was a lord while Acharya was a general. However in terms of price they were about the same as Elementium was a lot more expensive than Adamantite. Riddick drop some of his blood on it and the runes activated making him the new owner of the weapon.

Rahz put the belt on and quickly found out that it was the most amazing of all the things in the Fallen Gate and that included the 4 Mode Interchangeable Kinetic Cube. The reason for this was that the belt was created by the Gods, and the only way to obtained it was to defeat the previous owner.

There was no way that the Gods wouldn't try to give an advantage to their own races against the forces of the Dragon Gods and so they bestowed multiple equipment from their realms to exceptional individuals.

Rahz contribution in the previous fight was extensive and it won the approval of this legendary artifact and what a piece of equipment it was. The moment Rahz placed it on his waist, it locked by it self and he felt that his strength had double immediately.

"A voice Rahz heard before came straight into his mind but unlike the previous time it seemed a bit monotonous like a recording. This is the Belt of the Titan and was created by me Fadall with the help of a couple of friends Balthazar and Xelaris. This is a one of a kind item in the lower tier compare to avatar sets. Thanks to me this item provides a 100 % strength increased to the wearer, as well as 50% increased to the toughness of the muscles, skin, and bones".

"The belt also provides the wearer three skills that each of us customized and those are as follows, The Body of the Titan gives the ability to resist magic and detrimental spells for a full minute and it requires a day for his energy to replenish before you can activated again. The second skill is called Second Wind and was imbued by Xelaris (Goddess of Nature) and with this as long as the owner is not dead, he or she can heal all their injuries restoring them back to full. This skill takes a lot longer to replenish once used but if the person is resting close to nature it can speed up the process to only a day. Finally the third skill is the Amorphous Titan and was donated by Balthazar ( God of Thieves) and allows you to change your body into any Humanoid to increase your battle prowess as long as your Energy doesn't drop below 30%. The closer your knowledge of the person you want to change into, the higher the stat increased and the features of the target that can be copied"

After getting the information of the item Rahz couldn't help but exclaimed, "So that is how it was!!! Lord Darick used this skill to become a Scaleborn and let us experience it for ourselves and in a sense he granted me a very powerful transformation"

Rahz bowed towards the space where Lord Darick had moved on from before following the rest of the team towards the exit.
