Tyrant 82 Lord Darick

The Fight was on underway and what followed was an ass whooping, Lord Darick Parried Rahz's attack and follow with the Combat Art called Leash. The skill created and energy chain that the guardian could use to trap their opponents and pull them towards him. Rahz flew towards Darick but very quickly a Ward appeared on him and protected him from harm.

Instead of acting like a coward, Rahz grabbed his 2h Axe with both hands and use a weakening blow.

Clink!!

The blow was deflected with minimal effort leaving Rahz wide open for a counter attack. The Double Bladed Polearm contain some of the same principles Rahz practice when wielding his Axe so it was natural that improving the mastery of the Polearm would unlock similar skill such as the double swing.

Lord Darick used the first swing to deflect Rahz's attack and with the second swing he managed to destroy Elune's Ward, and the combo was finished with a kick to the abdomen that sent Rahz flying back. It was pure artistry, minor movements and well timed blows, it was everything anybody could expect from such a veteran.

Rahz received the blow to the stomach but contrary to expectation it didn't hurt as much, this confirmed his suspicions that the levels were not that far apart but what Rahz didn't know was that the kick he thought to be light would have made other Level 17 throw up. Igor took a place at one of the blind spots of Lord Darick and started to cast Chaos Fireballs at him. Riddick also casted Chaos Chains to immobilize his enemy and give Rahz the chance to charge in but his spell was returned to sender after Darick was encase in a holy light. It was the skill Holy Shield that allowed the guardian to reflect incoming spells and it lasted 5 seconds.

Chaos Chains wrapped around Riddick and knock him out of commission for the duration of his own spell, but since he had high resistance to chaos energy it didn't last long. At this time Midori jump from the ground covered in her Grey Aura but she was quickly evaded it and then swatted to the side like a fly.

Round 1: Winner Lord Darick

Rahz looked to the center of the room and saw the sneered in Lord Darick's face, so far he had not used his weapon and he had defeated each and every member of the team. Rahz also realized that despite talking a lot about eating them, he had not injured anybody during the length of the fight.

Coincidence? Who knew? All Rahz knew was that It was time for round 2. Rahz nodded towards Elune that cast many of her detrimental spells Icy Wind, Weakness and Deteriorate to reduce the combat efficiency of their enemy but nothing was able to stick through.

"A Scaleborn Soldier has pretty high resistance to magic and the level difference between the 2 of you doesn't help you at all, it is better for you to concentrate on healing and Wards". Whispered the Witch Doctor to Elune.

Rahz came back in and this time he utilized one of his more successful skills Immolation Aura follow by a Pulverizing Wave. Lord Darick was a tiny bit surprise at the Immolation Aura but once again he had a solution under his sleeve. Iron Will was a skill that stops damage in exchange for the natural resource of the Guardian.

The Pulverizing Wave was able to move the Giant Reptile back but no damage was done. As long as Iron Will was active no damage could come to the guardian as Midori also found out after failing to do any damage to the enemy. Finally to cope with Riddick's Chaos Rain he lifted his weapon and spun it in a circle creating a defensive space in which nothing could go through the polearm.

The only person that seem to be successful all along was Igor that threw Fireballs none stop and seem to always explode in the same place. At the beginning, it didn't even tickle Darick but after 20 they were starting to leave little burn marks at the place that they landed.

Darick continue to ignore the Imp and decided that it was time to attack while the enhancement from the Belt of the Titan was in effect. Without further ado, he stuck his weapon to the ground like a flagpole and did a Rawr like a mighty Lion. It was the Guardian Skill Lion Roar that increased his defense Vs Physical attacks and activated two Offensive skills Adrenaline Rush and Warrior's Fury that increased attack speed and damage done by skills by 20% respectively.

The massive Scaleborn finally activated Onslaught and rushed forward delivering a barrage of claw attacks towards Rahz who did his best to defend with his Axe and the Wards provided by Elune. Chaos Chains sprout from the ground and try to slow the dragonkin down but another of the neverending defensive skills came right on time, it was Iron Skin which was able to remove detrimental spells on the guardian.

The Chains broke almost immediately and the Onslaught continued. The claws of the Scaleborn were as tough as Iron and with every attack they tried to rip skin from bone. Little by little Rahz started taking damage and when the Onslaught finished, the Scaleborn opened his mouth and Rahz saw a source of fire at the end of the throat that got bigger and bigger by the second.

D R A G O N'S B R E A T H!!

Fire came out of Lord Darick's mouth like a Beam and headed towards the defenseless Rahz.

BOOM!!!

The Flame hit a Ward and quickly started to consume it while Rahz used this opportunity and instinctively activated Immolation Aura to offset the damage while he placed the Axe in a Defensive position at the front.

Rahz took the beam on and was being push back when an earthquake started shaking the arena. Darick and Rahz were locked in a confrontation so they couldn't even turned to look at what was going but Lord Darick soon came to regret it. The Earthquake was caused by Riddicks new move Chaos Rush, as he build momentum during the charge the ground grimace under the weight.

Thump…thump..thump

Riddick reach maximum speed and clash with the Flame throwing Scaleborn and release all the momentum of the attack.

BOOM!!.... CRASH!!

Lord Darick flew like a cannonball and hit a wall that stop him in his tracks. The damage was massive, Darick took damage from the skill and then even more damage when he hit the Elementium Walls that didn't have a scratch on them. Everyone had a move that they usually turned to and for Lord Darick was Iron Will that transformed energy into a damage shield. As long as the Guardian had Energy there was a chance to stop any damage to himself.

The damage was so large at that moment, his body removed any external factors that were using energy to accommodate for the burst. What did it mean? It meant that the energy being supply to the Belt of the Titan was stopped. When Darick stood up, all the muscles and skin started to shrink at a rapid pace while bones were rearranged changing his appearance back to what it was originally an Undead Dark Elf about 6 ft tall with a UFC Championship Belt that had the picture of a massive muscle man with no face.

Thinking back to the Dragon Breath this was the real reason why it didn't annihilated Rahz when it came out. Dragon Fire was one of the most powerful fires known in the realm, then why were they able to stop it at such a low level? The answer was simple it was not the real deal. The Belt of the Titan special ability was to transform the owner into any being with the abilities and even skin as long as they had a clear idea in their minds of the target. This basically translated into anybody they have met before. Unfortunately, Dragon Fire was an exclusive trade that came from the Dragon Gods themselves and it was extremely difficult to copy its structure and properties so the belt produce only something that resemble it in appearance but not power. The Fire in Lord Darick's Dragon breath was only a second Level fire.

Lord Darick shook the grogginess off from the hit and what met his Gazed made him lose his cool.

ROAR!!!!

Igor turned to look at where the sound came from and with a mischievous smile started running towards Riddick while in his hands there was a weird looking Jigsaw puzzle...It was the Grimhold Doll.
