Tyrant 72 General Acharya

The team walked towards the room where General Acharya was located and took a look. It was a very simple set up, the room was the size of a Basketball stadium and it had four columns located in each of the corners where a basketball court should be, everything else was empty space.

The general was smacked right in the middle of the room, it was so precise a computer would be jealous. Acharya was standing on her right leg with her right feet looking to the right side of the room while the left leg was raise and bent at the knee forming like a figure 4. Her torso was looking forward and her hands were chest high with the right hand doing the Pathakam gesture and the left arm went across her chest with her hand bending down in a 45 degree angle.

If it wasn't for the fact that the royal guard told them that she was General Acharya they would have mistaken it for a very well crafted piece of art.

"Let's go" said Rahz

The team entered the room and immediately saw the statue's hand move as she returned to a stand up position. It had been a long time since she left the Shiva pose so the moment she started moving all the dust on her fell to the floor. General Acharya did not fit the mold of the typical western mage with a long robe and a staff with a giant gem on it. The only race that would use those props were definitely the humans but right now they were in front of a very powerful Dark Elf.

She wore genie pants and a silk blouse which looked pretty out of place in the bony body of an undead.

Acharya did another pose and an Elementium Gem in the shape of a lotus flower resting in what it look like a Mirthil (third tier ore) plate appeared on her right hand. Other than that there were golden bracers in each of her wrist.

"Our way of life can never be destroy by the likes of you!!! Death to the Dragonkin"

The moment those words were spoken a strong surge of mana explode it from Acharya as she started to duplicate and then duplicate once more leaving three copies of herself standing in front of the team. The Acharya on the right had a green aura around her and gusts of wind seem to dance in her vicinity and if you look closely her feet were not touching the ground.

On the left stood a much colder Acharya with a blue aura around her, the floor 3 ft around her had a small layer of Ice on top of it. In the back stood the third Acharya with little purple snakes made out of lightning playing around her body.

The moment she divided herself, was the moment she started attacking. The team was already prepare and spread out so that even if they used area of effect skills they could only hit their enemy one Acharya at a time.

The first spell that came their way was Typhoon, three wind tornados came chasing Riddick, Rahz, and Midori as 3 ice lances came attacking them as well. In the meantime, the third Acharya didn't attack but instead it moved to the back and started casting a long spell with a vast series of poses.

"O Great Nue, please accept my mental worship of you, I offer the elements of wind and rain for you to play, I bathe you in cool waters from the divine planes; and with Divine Clothes decorated with various Gems, I adorn your mighty form, O Deva, You who wield the strongest lightning, Please accept my prayer made within my heart, obliterate my enemies.."

Rahz saw what was happening and panic, this was it, the forbidden spell the Old guard warned them about.

"Riddick!! try to stop it with your Chaos Rain, don't let her finish!!"

The way a Val'gun cast their spells was extremely similar to the way a dragon cast theirs. The dragonkin used their will to control and shape the elements in the realm to achieve a desired effect. In a similar way, the Val'gun used their desire to destroy to mold phenomena into manifesting their prowess with the intent to annihilate their target.

Riddick could also feel the urgent need to stop the General from finishing her chant. Every time Acharya changed her pose, the energy of the spell increased and they all started to feel a tingling sensation on their skin.

Riddick stop evading the incoming spells and started channeling his favorite skill Chaos Rain, there was no doubt in his mind that Elune had his back. This was trust develop through constant teamwork and as predicted a series of Edolic Wards appeared and stop all the Ice lances and Wind Blades coming his way.

"Destroy!! Destroy!! " Chaos Fire rained down but it was countered by the Ice Acharya who cast an Ice Dome and protected Lightning Acharya so it could continue her cast.

The whole team panic!!!

Seeing the situation about to turn for the worst, Rahz did a forward roll toward the Ice mage and use his Chaos Blade with the hope of interrupting the Ice Clone's dome spell and allowing the chaos fire to disrupt the chanting.

Whoosh!! Whoosh!!

Two wind blades came straight at the Chaos Blades and change their trayectory.

BOOM!!

The blades hit one of the pillars and left two big marks on it, it was a flawless defense displayed by the general but it was not 2 vs 2, there was still Midori. Midori had taken the opportunity and use her own skin clone and was now attacking the Ice Clone from underneath.

BANG!!!

Mission accomplished, the Ice Clone was hit so hard by Midori that it was coming in and out of existence.

Rahz was about to celebrate but you can't really smoke a cigar until the fat lady sings. The moment the dome spell was interrupted instead of an expose General Acharya what met the Chaos Rain was a Blue sphere the size of a basketball, inside the sphere there was an image of a metallic blue tiger with blue lightning all over his body.

All the Chaos Fireballs falling were destroyed by the lightning radiating from the orb as it went up to the middle of the room.

"Ohh Ohh.." Said Riddick as he watch the orb float up.

Elune responded as quickly as she could and cast a Massive Group Ward while every member of the team prepared to use their defensive abilities.

Nue's Judgement!!

Thunder!! Thunder!!

Two resounding sounds were heard throughout the room as bolts of lightning went in all directions and hit Rahz and his group. The speed of the lightning was so fast they could barely see it coming. It was lucky that the General was curse and her level was just 17 otherwise they would be a burn mark on the floor after that display of power.

The blue lightning hit the wards and depleted them in seconds before it went through the Strengthen Defense and hit Rahz in the stomach and on his leg, of all the members of the team Midori did the best as she was able to use skin clone and go underground avoiding the initial salvo but when she popped up next to Elune and took her behind one of the pillars she took a lightning bolt to her tail in the process.

HISS!

Riddick on the other hand, was the highest level of the group and the level of his Chaos Energy was a Level higher in quality than Rahz's Energy. Chaos energy was divided into 5 levels that could be easily recognizable, the lowest was Dark Red then Purple, Blue, Green and finally Dark Green. Riddick was able to utilize the Purple Level and using his only defensive skill Chaos Shield, he was able to offset most of the damage and the thunder forbidden spell only left burn marks on his skin.

The team was really in bad shape, Rahz took one on the leg and couldn't really run anymore so fighting was out of the question.

The Royal Guard saw the situation and decided that 5000 years of penance was long enough and gave them some help " Step out of the room, she cannot follow you, her duty is to stop anybody from heading down the stairs and following the enemies and leaving the stairs unprotected is against her orders"

ARGGGHH!

The Old Guard screamed as a his own curse mark lit up and burn his soul. The pain in his soul was excruciating but it was the price to paid for opening his mouth and helping Rahz and their team.

Riddick grabbed Rahz and went out into the hallway, while Elune and the now tailless Midori followed. It was a complete defeat, the team had to retreat with their tails tucked firmly between their legs.

In the room General Acharya that was using triplication once more stopped the spell and became one again. She walk to the middle of the room and stop in yet another pose while standing perfectly still like nothing was going on.
