Tyrant 51 Secret of the Tooth

"Less talking, more walking!! if you want my money come and get it 200,000 on the Kobold."

The announcers face felt when he heard the Mayor put forward that horrendous amount of money, this meant he truly believed the Kobold Man's strength was hidden deeply and this made him uneasy. If his boss lost 200k on his suggestion, he would be lucky enough if he didn't end up in a ditch somewhere around town.

The other three members of the board opted for a wait and see attitude and did not want to get involved in the main tycoon fight. Those two were always competing not only financially but also in the martial way but so far the mayor of Willowdale had come out ahead time and time again.

While all this was going on, Rahz was getting ready to leave the temple after an afternoon of ass whooping. Elune had never seen anything like it, from the grueling hits Rhaen was throwing his son to the unending willpower Rahz showed by standing over and over again, it was remarkable.

The afternoon training payed off for Rahz as he now could use his skills pretty fluidly and thanks to his father, he understood the limits of his new body.

The rest of the evening was expended in leisure as the group decided to hit yet another eating spot with another specialty fare from a foreign region. It was a pretty awesome time at the restaurant but the real star of the show was Elune that fitted right in with the crew, she put down a fair amount of grub to everyone's surprise.

When the group went back to the hotel, Rhaen managed to get an additional room for the new member of the team and this won some points with Elune since she had not taken a proper bath in quite some time or slept on a bed for that matter.

Rhaen decided to give Rahz free time the following morning before the big fight and was confident that his son could defeat anybody at least 2 Levels above him without much difficulty. The other purpose of the day off was to spend the 1200 gold coins available to them before heading back to the village the next day.

The first order of business was to get new clothes for Elune for fear of Etta thinking that the girl was not treated properly which will bring dire consequences for the both of them. The moment they walked into a clothing store, Elune's eyes couldn't help but light up. She might come from a normal clan but girls always like to have nice things and best of all she had 100 gold coins to spend on her own.

Rhaen stood quietly on the side and the only advised that he gave her was to make sure to get a coat because their village was smack in the middle of the snow. Elune put on the new set of clothes and it was like day and night , if it wasn't for the skull necklace she had on, anybody would have mistaken her for the daughter of a very wealthy aristocratic family.

Next stop on the list was the Alchemy shop, Rhaen wanted to buy more potions to help Rahz increased his strength and modified his body to something stronger than the young fighters in Silverwing City.

Elune and the others arrived at the entrance of the shop and very quickly the soul in her necklace started Yapping none stop about the low quality of the herbs and equipment sold inside the store. However, If Elune wanted to increase her proficiency in the alchemy arts, she needed materials and a cauldron to start her practice.

"Mr. Rhaen I am actually an alchemist apprentice and I can create potions a lot better than the ones sold here if you can buy the equipment and materials I would help Rahz with all his potions needs."

Rhaen was pleasantly surprised at the new information coming his way, if what Elune said was true they made a steal buying her at 1400 gold coins. Rhaen gave her 600 gold coins a let her go to town, the soul was a little disappointed but considering who the sponsor was they couldn't ask for more.

When they were done buying all of the materials she needed, it was free time to go around the town and see if there were new things they could find from the stalls at the Central Plaza. Rhaen took all the clothes and alchemy materials back to the room alone and Elune and Rahz had time to bond and learn a little bit about each other.

The fact that Rahz had no inhibitions or any bad thoughts about her was what made her open up a bit more. Rahz stopped at every street food stall on the street, and even finished the whole supplied of chicken at the Yakitori place. It was simple fare but Rahz loved to BBQ wild game and the amazing taste the smoke from the wood was giving the chicken was excellent to say the least.

Seeing a really tall guy and an average size girl walking the streets made a lot of people giggle but they didn't care. The street food was a nice Ice breaker and at the end of their food tour it was like they had known each other for a few weeks. Rahz was also tactful enough not to ask about her clan and waited for her to touch the subject on her own.

Elune tried to ignore the rant of the old soul that would not shut up about how the allied races had declined and how poor and weak the people of the town were but after sometime she discovered that it had gone quiet on his own.

"Quickly tell the kid to show you his necklace."

"What?"

"The kid's necklace with the Purple tooth, ask him where he got it"

Elune didn't understand what was going on but still asked just the same. Rahz was excited she took a liking to his necklace but for the wrong reasons. Rahz thought, " I knew this tooth was a chick magnet... I have great taste"

If Elune knew what was in Rahz's mind at the moment, she would have taken a critical hit and cough up blood.

"I got it on an expedition to the mines close to our village, it was in the hands of a Kobold that we manage to defeat, this fur came from one of the elites in that placed too. My father told me the tooth was so tough it was impossible to perforate with the tools in his Blacksmith so he had to encased it in copper for me to wear it"

The soul listen attentively to Rahz and was getting more and more excite it. "Go ahead and cast Spirit Bond on it'

Elune did as told and the tooth tremble a little bit but then went still once more.

"You are still to weak to make a bond but it would be the perfect Totemic Incarnation for you once you reach your second evolution."

"What kind of creature is it"

"WOOT!! your luck is so good... It is the tooth of a ArchFiend!!!"

"More specifically this tooth belongs to a Val'gun Lord. Val'gun are a demonic species at the top of the the food chain in the demon realm. Their bodies resemble massive lizards, with ten powerful limbs. they had four legs, a tail, and wings sprouting from their backs as well as 4 powerful arms. Their skins were purple-black and their mouths are filled with rows of teeth just like the one the kid has on him. Looks like his fate is truly intertwine to wield the power of chaos".

There was a lot more information the Soul knew about the past but he felt that it was too early for Elune to be aware of it.

"This might be a good opportunity for you and the kid, powerful species respond to the aura of the tooth as a defensive mechanism and you might be able to pick up a couple of strong pets from the tamer shop".

"Rahz I want a pet, lets go to the Tamer shop"

"That is a great idea, I need to buy a present for my friends and a pet would be so cool".

Perhaps Bhirl would be interested a bit more on a Martial Skill or something along those lines but Rahz mind didn't work like that.

Rahz was very enthusiastic about the shop as after tasting different species in the restaurants and seeing all the creatures that pulled the merchant carts he wanted to see something completely different to Arctic Bears and Snow Leopards.

Rahz and Elune made their way to the tamer's shop and right to the side of it was a den with different pups, there were canines, cats, birds, reptiles and even a couple odd looking ones.

On another part of the shop there were many adult mounts already trained and ready to ride but the prices made Rahz stomach twist.

There were only 500 gold coins left and that barely got them a pup of an species not readily available in the region.
