Tyrant 45 Underground Arena part 2

"Didn't I said my name was Rahz, how come I became Kobold Man and he is the Bone Collector"

"Kid, that Rahz name sucks!! I had to spice it up and since you are already in disguise it was only natural".

"Can I change my name now? what about Rahz the Destroyer or Rahz the Executioner it has a ring to it".

"It is too late now kid, they are taking bets and they can't change the name on the card, just enjoyed the fight and try not to get kill".

Rahz turned to look at his opponent and almost burst out laughing. His opponent looked like and oversize boar that took humanoid form. The Bone Collector was from the ogre race, had extreme weight issues on top of a very thick grey skin. His face was pretty similar to that of a pig and it had a few bone protrusion on the top of the head that could be considered hair as well as a pair tusks coming out from his lower lips. If you put a big dipper on him, he would look like a giant baby.

His weapon of choice was a ball and chain with a hook on one side. The chain had an exceptionally long reach and it look like the big baby didn't move around much.

The Bone Collector seem to be gnawing on the bone of a previous opponent minding his own business like there was nothing more important in the world but the meat on his bone.

"No wonder they called you the bone collector. How is that meat tasting for you?"

The Ogre looked at Rahz shrugged his shoulders and said " It's delicious!! She was a mage so I didn't have to tenderize the meat at all, it had the right amount of fat. I can already see that yours would be pretty lean but don't worry I will still enjoy every bite"

The odds for the fight were overwhelmingly in favor of the Bone Collector with a 10 to 1 payout. Rahz smiled at the betting odds and knew that it was going to be a good day for his pocket, all he needed to do now was to make it look like it was pure luck and cash in at the end.

The fight started with a loud buzzing sound and immediately the business end of the chain came flying at Rahz.

Rahz had thought about it before the fight and if there was a weakness his opponent displayed had to be, his movement speed. Rahz decided to use this as his advantage and started to run around and dodge while making his way towards the Bone Collector's back but it was a lot harder than it seem.

Despite being unable to move around, the speed of the Bone Collector's chain was ridiculous and every time the ball section of the weapon came down, it left a crater on the ground. Drops of sweat fell from Rahz's forehead like the Niagara falls as he tried to evade and get closer to his opponent at the same time.

Rahz's main problem was that his opponent was a first evolution fighter and trying to fake weakness was extremely difficult to do when the difference in power was so small.

It was the opposite feeling for the Bone Collector, all he saw was a piece of steak evading his grasp and that made him red with Rage.

"Tenderize"

Tenderize was a skill unique to the Bone Collector, after inhaling massive amounts of air, puke came flying out of the Big baby's mouth in a straight line covering the ground in stomach acid and a sticky substance.

Rahz was able to avoid the stream but when some drops managed to fall on his Kobold coat the fur sizzled while being corroded.

After the acid attack, came the chain attack and then the acid once more. Little by little the surface of the arena was getting covered and Rahz was running out of room to maneuver.

He was supposed to make it look like the victory was all luck but at the rate the fight was going, live and death would be decided by the luck of the draw.

After 10 minutes of running around the opportunity finally came and it was all thanks to the Bone Collector. Rahz was avoiding yet another Tenderizing attack and was unable to avoid the chain attack that came after. The chain tight him up around the waist and pulled him into the bone collector's embraced for a nice bear hug.

Rahz flew towards the Ogre and made it look like the only thing he could do before dying in the bear hug was to swing his Axe towards his opponent with his eyes close.

Dejavu!!

It was the fourth time seeing the same scene starring the Bone Collector and many of the victims close their eyes as they knew what came next in the movie, a little bit of struggled while bones were being crushed and then silence.

That was the same thought The Bone Collector had before his body was divided from his collarbone all the way down to the middle of his chest. It all happened extremely fast but at the same time it seem to take an eternity( matrix style).

Boom!!!

Rahz slammed into the body of the ogre and manage to made him tumble back a couple of steps. The ogre's hand was still clamping the chain around Rahz waist so when he tumbled back, Rahz was pulled forward face first into the ground.

Slamming into the body of such a huge creature made Rahz a little dizzy so when he stood up, his legs were still a little wobbly. Rahz removed the chain around his waist and went to grab his Axe while his second rune line was being carved into his skin.

"Ladies and Gentleman the winner by (luck, is what the announcer wanted to say) Axe splitting KOBOLD MAN"

Clap...Clap...Clap!!!

Only Helgahvall's group celebrated from their seats under the looks of the entire arena. Rhaen gave his son the thumbs up and went to collect his earnings.

"Nicely done kid (not, thought the announcer) would you like to continue the challenge?"

"Yes!!! This is fun"

"Ladies and Gentleman KOBOLD MAN has spoken and is going to continue on his road to greatness, the arena needs to be clean for the next match so we'll be taking a short break."

Very quickly a mid first evolution mage came into the arena and use wind magic to pile all the sand contaminated with acid on one place and then use a earth magic to make an Earth block to be carried away from the ring. The process only took 5 minutes before the announcer came back onto the field once more.

"LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE!!! the next challenger hails from our very own bandit crew, the Dark Blade, Please put your hands together for the Rogue KNIVEZ"

This time the odds were even more in favor of Knivez with a 15 to 1 payout. Rhaen couldn't help but rejoiced as he place his 9 gold coins on the Kobold Man under the gazes of many people that thought he was an idiot for placing his hopes on somebody that won by luck the first round.

When the fight started, the Rogue activated sprint and rush towards Rahz using his Combat Art Swift Edge. This was the most common skill for the scout class and was acquired at level one but its damage was still nothing to sneeze at.

The rogue tried his best to confused Rahz dynamic vision with his movement speed but even on his best day his speed was nothing compared with the speed used by Rahz's parents during his special training.

Rahz need it to make it look good so he evaded just enough for the tip of the knives to grace his fur armor which absorb the rest of the damage. Every time the rogue cut into the fur, he could hear the sound of metal rubbing on metal and the edge of his knives getting duller and duller.

After about 5 minutes of constant dodging, Rahz determined that it was about time to ended.

Rahz timing was perfect, when the rogue tried to come in for a frontal slash, he stumbled backwards leaving a huge opening. The rogue thought it was an opportunity to end the fight but just as Rahz was falling backwards a very fast horizontal slash came zooming in towards the waist of the rogue.

Splash!!

Blood flew up like a fountain from the torso of the Rogue and everyone was once again perplex at what happen.

WOOT WOOT!!! WAY TO GO KOBOLD MAN!!!

Once again the Helgahvall group cheer Rahz on while he wave at them in a very friendly manner.

"The Winner by Axe splitting KOBOLD MAN"

Rahz told the announcer that he wanted to continue fighting and the third opponent came out into the arena. This time the odds were a lot closer as people started to gamble on the Kobold Man miraculous victories and decided to try their luck.

This time around the odds were just 2 to 1 in favor of Rahz's opponent so Rhaen decided it was time stop the farce and screamed from his seat , " Finish it quickly Rahz".
