"ME FIRST" said the demon head wrestling control of the body from the other one that seem to fall asleep.

It was hard to tell what was going on but the moment the demon head took control, its aura change from one filled with undead energy to a fire one.

The 2 h hammer lit up with white fire while four fire elementals started to appear around the room.

Whoosh… Whoosh

The heavy steps of the giant shook the floor as he rushed towards the group but Degark was a leader for nothing. He was a Shadow Knight, a defensive warrior whose main priority was to stand in the front lines and protect the healers and casters that were not as durable.

GOD OF HATE CARESS

A Negative Energy shield appeared on top of Degark's physical shield, while a dark fire silhouette appeared over his sword.

A giant ghostly skull came out of Degark's Body and into the giant that shiver for a second but kept advancing through. The same skull them changed into a Dark red color and bounce back into Degark increasing his strength significantly.

BOOM!!

The 2h Hammer hit the Energy shield and the impact made Degark's left leg buckled and his wrist shattered but he held his placed. The Giant saw the results and smiled, "HA HA HA... Try this one"

The Negative Energy Shield of a follower of the God of Hate was very special, it not only acted as a shield but it had two extra features, the first one was a magic that inadvertently increase the feelings of hate towards the Shadow Knight. This effect was extremely hard to discover as the enemy would just find it normal to hate their opponent but little by little the hate would be so much that they would only have eyes for the shadow knight and forget about everyone else.

The second part of the Magic was the caress that healed the shadow knight for a little portion of any damage. The broken wrist started to heal thanks to the shield's effect while the fire on the hammer burn the magic ward place on Degark by Elune to withstand the first onslaught.

"DISPERSE" called Degark

The Elites of Blackrock City immediately split into groups and took a distance from their leader while an Ogre Warrior and a Dwarf of the same class move to each of degark's sides.

INTERCEPT

The Ogre warrior activate intercept on his leader creating a link between them that would allow them to share the damage.

The giant didn't stand around and immediately attack fiercy with another skill called CORRUPTING CRASH

CLANK!!

Degark's shield was hit once again and the two effects from the negative energy shield were activated and the wards around the ogre and the shadow knight dissipated like confetti.

Whoosh!

The Giant swung the other way and this time it was the dwarf's turn to cast intercept but it was different. Degark was sent flying and both his arms were broken while the dwarf activated his stone skin to prevent further internal injuries.

It was the effect of Corrupting Crash that weakened the resistance of Degark to physical attacks on his first swing and the moment the second swing came, he took a lot more damage of what he was expecting putting the whole team in a precarious situation.

"HA HA HA"

The Ogre Warrior acted in a very timely manner and launch himself at the giant in order to call his attention but it was useless, it was one of the drawbacks of the Negative Energy shields. When the fight was going in caster's favor, it allowed the mages and other offensive classes to go all out but now that they needed to save Degark, there was no way to get the giant off their leader.

The Giant that was moving towards Degark lost his balance and fell forward not knowing what happened to him but he didn't have to wait long, blood started to flow from his Achilles tendon that was severed by Rahz with one swing of Apocalypse.

Blood started to sprout from the wound and the smell cause the second head of the giant that had been in a state of hibernation to come to life and heal the wound in real time.

The aura also change and it was no longer of the fire element, it was similar to the shadow knights bringing forward a weird vibe.

"ATTACK IT"

The Warlocks and other offensive classes woke up from their stupor and launched different kind of skills the giant's way inflicting some damage but it was a drop in the bucket for the massive vitality their enemy showed.

"COME MY MINIONS"

The Blood that had spilled from the giant's ankle started to act up and take shape, 60 slime like monster started to appear from it and went after the different members of the team forcing them to move away from one another and switch targets to the incoming enemies.

The faster members of the group were quick to destroy them at a distance away from themselves but some of the close combat classes where splash by the liquid of the slimes and it made its way inside their bodies.

"QUICKLY CAST WARDS"

"MAGES, TAKE CARE OF THE SLIMES… EVERYONE ELSE STAY AWAY"

It was too late for some to avoid getting splash but the consequences of what was happening didn't seem visible for the time being. In the eyes of the alliance it looked like there was no effect at all but it was a different story for the giant that was able to determine the level of corruption thanks to the eyes on his chest.

With the eyeless head taking over the body of the giant, it also meant that the Demon head was entering into a hibernation period and with it, the fixation towards Degark. It seemed that the mental attack affected just the Demon Head and the other one was now fixated on the individual that woke it, Rahz.

The aura around the hammer switched to undead energy that seemed to absorb the life force of any body close to it except for the Shadow Knight and Necromancer's in the group.

Rahz went backwards and kept moving while sending Chaos Fire blades towards the Giant that followed him around the room in anger but no matter how hard it tried, he wasn't able to catch up. The Giant swung his hammer in anger and undead energy spread out in a cone but it was still too short a range to reach the pesky ant in front.

The time Rahz got for the team was priceless and it allowed Degark to regain his ability to fight again. Degark charged after the Giant using SHIELD BASH and hit him square on his back. Activating the effects of the Negative Energy Skill increasing the hate of the eyeless head towards himself.

"STUPID ANTS, DIE!"

The giant turned around and attack Degark instead of following Rahz creating a cone of undead magic but it wasn't a problem for a Shadow Knight.

"ATTACK!!"

Once again everyone threw everything but the kitchen sink towards the Giant; however, the damage was miniscule. The troops were not discouraged in the least and continued to attack the same spot over and over finally opening some wounds.

RAISED MY MINIONS

The more Blood spilled from his body, the more slimes came forward and this included even more from the pools of blood left by the previous slimes that reanimated again making them 120 the second time around and forcing the close melee combatants to move back but as luck would have it some slimes spawn right beside them and didn't give them that chance.

The mages and healers started to kill the slimes when suddenly the aura around the room change and the eyeless head went to sleep and the demon one regained consciousness changing the undead energy into a fire one.

The massive hammer fell on the shield of Degark and sent him flying with a broken arm hanging on his side. It was clear to him that the demon head was devastating in close combat while the other head was an expert in group fights. Degark had not been pushed in such away since the war against Silverwing City many years back, but all the memories were coming back
