Tyrant 197 Preparations for the War

Ella had grown considerably after the Tempering War as well and thanks to the support from the City of Silverwing she managed to reach the apex of her magic path bringing to the people around her that much of a headache. Like all good tinkerers, she loved to spend time in the canteens drinking booze with her peers discussing theories and other problems that arose during the day. The problem was that nobody else was increasing their martial prowess at such a fast pace and some almost died after being tap in the back while horsing around under the influence of alcohol slowing down the progress of many projects.

The moment she arrived at the door of the main building, she jumped of fractal and join Giant Blade and Jazz that were drinking their sorrows away. Previously, Jazz discovered that no matter what coat he put on top of his body to hide his avatar set, it was shredded by the energy radiating from the set. He was forced to walk around like Lord of the Dance during a concert no matter where he went.

"So how did the project come along?" Said Giant Blade trying to change the subject.

"It went great, the upgrades to the tanks are all done. We are going to smash those dragonkin"

The moment Ella and the other drivers were getting comfortable in front of the building, a bunch of Barbarians started approaching and they were led by a huge warrior with a red sword that radiated battle intent on his own. The Barbarian had only 3 pieces to his set but it was clear that he was also a chosen with extraordinary offensive power forge in the battlefield. The Set was even simpler than Jazz's, it had a two handed sword, a massive belt and the spartan helmet.

The Barbarian King pointed at Jazz that was drinking Firebreath Whisky in a corner forcing him to do a double take.

"Nope, I'll pass. Unless it is a drinking competition, then you are on"

Portals started opening all of the sudden inside the camp and vast amounts of demons started pouring out. There were thousands and even more awe inspiring were the elders that radiated a Level 50 aura that engulf everyone around.

Everybody started looking at the event with curiosity except for the Barbarian King that was itching to challenge the newcomers like there was nothing more important to do.

PULVERIZING WAVE!!

The attack went straight for the elders but at the front was Riddick and he was not happy. All he wanted to do was to find his brother and talk to him about what happened inside mount doom as well as the new piece of information regarding one of the dragons responsible for the death of his uncle.

The attack was fast but a screen of chaos fire that looked like a mirror stood in front of Riddick in his humanoid form while out of nowhere Chaos Runes appeared underneath the feet of all the Barbarians that came along with Vulcan.

The rune marks went off and there was nothing the Barbarian King could do about it. The God of War set was specialized in offense and there was nothing he could do to protect his people.

The scorching heat rub against his face and Rage started to build inside of him but thanks to Elune a catastrophe didn't happen. Magical Wards consume the damage from the flames and saved the innocent barbarians that followed their king into battle.

"Why don't you have an ale instead and stop playing with your tribe's lives. It is better to move away from this tent, this is no place for the common folk" said Giant Blade.

It was a harsh reality to swallow but it was the truth. The only people around the main tent were the leaders of the factions and their aids, each and everyone of them were close to reaching the apex in their class.

Vulcan had the right to be there but he was quickly learning that the forces of the realm ran very deep.

"Is my brother around?"

"He is in a meeting with all the leaders, they are talking about the invasion"

Riddick walk passed Vulcan into the tent and couldn't help but sneer at the barbarian that was having a difficult time stopping himself from going berserk.

Inside the building's main room, Riddick immediately saw a 3D map of the region beyond the Shattering Scar that confirmed his suspicions regarding their time using the Celestial beast orb. There were 8 islands floating in the sky while on the bottom a territory as vast as the alliance stood with the positions of many cities indicated within.

The Realm in the Sky was a place of worship for all the cities below and only the strong could hope to be recognized by the hol;y dragons and taken there where they would break the limits of the realm and reach new heights.

The realms spun around and their names were seen clearly, Tenebrous Sanctum, The Bonemire, The Barren Sky. Riddick couldn't contain his emotion and said, I will attack the Tenebrous Sanctum myself.

Everybody in the conference turn to look at him with amusement in their faces but when Riddick loosen his bracelet, all the people present felt an aura equal to the Supreme Elder and couldn't uttered a word.

"Brother!! you broke through"

"Yes, it was a gift from my uncle. Venekious killed him"

"The Poison Dragon?"

"Yes, the one from the orb. The missions were real… It wasn't an illusion, we were just translocated to their realm"

It was a conversation only the people who used the orbs could understand but it brought a better understanding to the expedition.

The plan form little by little but it wasn't too difficult to follow, avatars and other powerful leaders would make teams and attack all of the islands in the Realm in the sky simultaneously, while the rest of the forces attacked the draconian forces that live on the lands below.

Out of all the islands, there were three dragons that need it to be defeated to have a successful campaign but the most important objective was to kill the Chaos Dragon, Nefarious. The other dragons were a lot more reasonable and wouldn't fight to the death. Once the dragons were defeated, the forces living in the lands below would follow the will of the Realm in the Sky so there was no need to annihilated them in order to conquer them in the first place.

The majority of the meeting revolve around the combination of the level 50 personnel that was to take on the task of invading the different Sanctums. Rahz was indispensable in the fight against the Chaos Dragon so he was assigned to the Bonemire Island team and since one of his most subtle weaknesses was poison, Elune was assigned to him. Riddick had a bone to pick with Venekious so he chose to lead the team into the tenebrous sanctum and was given Jazz for his ability to increase the resistances of his allies and for the fight against the Earth dragon Bato took on the task.

"Since the Chaos Dragon is the most powerful, Rahz alone is not enough. The forces of the God of Justice will follow him and provide our help" Said Pendragon.

"If you are going, then I am going as well" said Degark.

Everybody in the room looked at each other but nobody said anything else. The next few days were very hectic for the vice commanders in charge of the logistics of the war but for the leaders it was a time to prepare. The War was approaching.
