Tyrant 186 The Tenebrous Sanctum part 3

The Illusory Serpent followed Rahz and Riddick for a 2v2 confrontation and didn't waste anytime at all before attacking with full force.

The two copies dove down in perfect synchronization towards Rahz and Riddick, but right before they clashed against each other, one of the serpents disintegrated into a multicolor smoke that quickly covered the area were Riddick was standing. The smoke dissipated as quickly as it appeared, it entered Riddicks system producing a feeling of extreme tiredness the likes he had never felt before.

Yawn!!

Riddick closed his eyes and he was fast asleep.

"Riddick!!... Riddick!!"

Rahz called to his brother but no matter how obnoxious he was or the loud sounds coming from all the fighting around them, nothing seemed to work. The only consolation was the loud snoring coming from Riddick's mouth that immediately let Rahz know that he was still alive.

The other Serpent stayed in complete form an attacked Rahz with extreme agility, tail whips flew in a barrage of attacks that crashed against the knife in his hands. The feeling coming from the serpent's attack made Rahz frown, there was no pressure at all and it felt as if a fluffy cloud was crashing against a sharp object.

Hmm…

The exchange was extremely fast and the barrage of attacks lasted about a minute. Throughout the whole exchange, Rahz didn't feel any pressure at all and felt that maybe they had fallen into the trap of the Wind Serpent and the real beast was the one Bato and Jazz were fighting.

"I need to finish this fight quickly and go help Jazz" thought Rahz

BLADE EXTENSION

Rahz used the bread and butter of the Vengeance Chamber and paired it with the skill of his teacher Giant Blade in order to dispose of his opponent in the fastest way possible. The idea behind using such powerful moves was to destroy the Illusory Serpent and conserve enough energy to make a difference in the upcoming fight against what he thought was 'The real serpent'.

The Chaos Burst increased all of Rahz's Physical attributes in a flash and as the Giant Blade made out of concentrated Chaos Fire flew through the air, it caused the Wind Serpent to panic and use evasive maneuvers to avoid getting cut but it was unsuccessful.

Poof!!

The giant blade cut the Wind Serpent in two but the moment it was divided, it disappeared into another cloud of multicolor smoke that covered Rahz and sent him into morpheus embrace.

Rahz eyelids became extremely heavy and he felt like the energy supply by the Chaos Burst drained his body of all his reserves and since the Wind Serpent was no more, he relaxed his mind for a second and after a very deep yawn he was counting sheep.

There were very few records that talked about the Multicolor Dream Serpent and they date back to the Shattering War. The ancestors that managed to survive had only one piece of advise regarding the Wind Serpent, it was to run unless they were in a group with at least 2 illusionist or coercers.

The main problem when facing the Dream Serpent was its Multicolor Aura, the longer one fought with the Illusionary serpent, the higher the chances of going into the dreamland. Every attack of the illusory serpent was encased in his dream aura and it could not be repel, it stacked indefinitely until the warrior was asleep and with all his defenses down, It was really simple for the physical form to enjoy a nice meal.

The two serpents, however, were one and the same. The Green one was the body and the illusory one was a mental projection that wielded its Psychic Powers. Anybody lucky enough to possessed this knowledge had a great advantage as they would concentrate in beating one of the Serpents with all of their energy and in doing so, they would eliminate both of them since the mind couldn't live without the body and Vice-Versa.

Screech!

The Poisonous Serpent screamed at the top of its lungs at the same time Rahz cut his opponent in two. The serpent felt a throbbing pain in its brain like she had a giant Migraine and it immediately knew that his mental projection had been hurt and it was in need of help.

The Green Serpent screamed and as it was about to head over towards his projection, it felt a very dangerous feeling coming from the side.

SPINNING CRANE KICK

Bato's whole body was encased in energy that took the shape of a drill that could penetrate anything that stood in his way. The Wind Serpent panic and knew that it couldn't dodge in time so it covered its tail in dense poisonous aura and met the incoming enemy.

RIZZ.

The tailed of the Wind Serpent met Bato and the sound of meat getting minced reverberated through the island alongside the loud screams of the serpent.

The spinning energy destroyed about one fourth of the tail but the blood squirting from it forced Bato to jump backwards. The blood was extremely corrosive and in order to get rid of it, he sat in meditation and started chanting a prayer at very fast speed that stop his skin from melting and gathered the blood into a ball of viscous liquid in the air neutralizing it.

It was the first time the beast had been hurt on both aspects in such a long time, it was the hegemon of the area and the tiny enemies that challenge her rule were actually pushing her into a precarious situation at every turn.

There was nothing more infuriating for the serpent than having an 'easy' prey come along and then realized that it fell victim to the oldest trick in the book, "playing the pig, eating the tiger".

The eyes on the Wind Serpent turned crimson while the green blood dripped from its tail and without a second thought, it flew up into the air and prepared to decimate the ground.

On the other battlefield, the moment Rahz fell asleep, the smoke that had gone inside Riddick left his body and reconstructed into the shape of the illusory serpent but in doing so, it forsake the control over the enemy.

Riddick looked around in a half awake state and when his eyes landed on Rahz, his drowsiness disappeared and he rushed towards his side.

There was nothing else in Riddick's mind than the welfare of his brother and the anxiety lost him the chance to end the fight once and for all. The serpent on the other hand didn't let the opportunity go and before Riddick could react, it used one of his trump cards, Dream Eater.

The Serpent shone in multicolor light and a vacuum like suction appeared in Rahz's direction.

The smoke that had previously gone inside Rahz started to leave his body and condensed into a translucent copy of himself making it seem as if his soul was leaving his body. The moment the ethereal Rahz came to be, it started floating towards the serpent at a constant pace as if it was sleepwalking.

Riddick saw what was happening but in his anxious state, he was more concerned about the Physical Rahz than the copy in the sleepwalking state.

Riddick put both hands in Rahz's shoulders and shook him into consciousness as the Ethereal copy was devoured by the serpent.

Rahz started to bleed from his ears and he grabbed his head in response to the sharp pain he was experiencing at the moment.

AAHHH!!

Dream Eater was a unique ability of the Multicolor Dream Serpent which allowed it to eat Psychic Energy used to create dreams in order to heal itself and damage its enemy. The main requirement of the skill was that it could only be used on a sleeping target, however, it was not a problem for the serpent due to the nature of its aura. The Psychic Energy was then extracted out of the target's body and this causes interference with the normal pathways of the brain producing a backslash with symptoms similar to those of a concussion.

The energy was then absorbed by the serpent and used to repair the energy spent. It was for this reason that the records suggested the presence of at least two experts in the Psychic Arts to stop the serpent from using this skill and healing itself from any damage suffered during the fight.

The absorption of the energy was beneficial to both its body and its mind and as the illusionary Serpent consumed Rahz's Energy, the physical serpent felt his throbbing pain disappeared.

A very creepy smile appeared on the Green Wind Serpent as it showed a row of Sharp teeth and used its Ultimate Skill, Decaying Spores.
