Tyrant 171 Fighting Sea Creatures

"Can you make it down alright?"

"Hmm… I don't think getting down would be a problem but I am not so sure about going to the sea anymore".

Riddick grabbed his polearm, turned away from the cliff and started looking for a place about a couple of feet from the edge and activated Immolation Aura that evaporated the ice and with his weight created a water slide all the way down.

Genius!

Rahz followed behind with his own immolation and just before he reached the bottom he jumped of the cliff and landed at the bottom while Riddick had to used everything he had to nail his polearm into the slide to slow down his descend.

WOOOHOOO!

"That was fun" Said Riddick while the Elder trembled in fear, really powerful people played by their own rules.

Everything would have been a lot easier if a mage was with them to cast Feather Fall on Riddick so he could float down but since they lost Liz during the war, they started feeling the empty void she left. The team continued to the village and rested for the night while observing the conditions in which the villagers were living and their meal said it all, despite the fact that they had been given the bigger portions it was barely possible to call it dinner.

The Sea tribe were pescetarian by nature and didn't eat meat, they could complement with some algae or sea vegetation but even that was difficult to acquire due to the strength of their new enemies.

Rahz wanted to head towards the North Sea right away to get the people of the village a proper meal but in the darkness, the risk was a lot higher since the vision was minimal. According to the Elder, It was a bad time of the year to venture in the sea as the sun was only active for 6 hours a day but there was nothing else they could do.

In the time it took for the sun to come up, the team prepared and found out that Remulos as a druid was able to cast waterbreathing magic on them but most important of all he could transform into a water creature and swim at high speed in the water.

"If you can transform, how come you don't do it when we arrived at the towns" said Riddick.

"I am sorry Master... The more complex the creature's anatomy, the higher the level I have to be to shapeshift"

"So that is how it is. Let me see the transformation"

Nature Energy started gathering rapidly inside Remulos' body and then his body started changing quickly, decreasing in size into a 3 foot penguin looking humanoid with antlers and the bandana that cover his eyes.

"Can you still use spells in that form?"

"My Mana Pool is a lot smaller but it shouldn't be a problem to maintain the Water Breathing for everybody"

It was impossible to explore the ocean without Water Breathing, even at the Third Tier with their increased lung capacity, it was necessary to come up for air at regular intervals making it extremely difficult to have an impact in a short amount of time.

When the sun came up, the team was ready to tackle the task and jump into the sea, Riddick walked in and continued walking in the sea bed at a steady pace and jumping around like a astronaut on the moon and then falling back down again.

At the bottom of the sea there were many debris from the mainland brought back by the waves and many small fishes swam around. Since it was the first time Rahz and the others were venturing into the sea they decided to stop at the 10 mile mark and wait for the Megalodon to come to them, it wasn't a hard task to get his attention once they started killing his subordinates close to the shore.

The team didn't have to wait long to see some sea creatures and they were all huge and had 3 rows of teeth ready to tear meat from bone and in the case of small individuals like Rahz and Elune eat them whole. The smallest seem to be Level 25 and they only went up from there, some sharks were 15 ft long and the ones reaching the Third Tier were 35 ft long.

The new invaders to their territory quickly called their attention and the Sharks went into a frenzy, they attacked in an organized manner and the low mobility of the team was a problem.

The sharks attacked the team with amazing speed and then went through moving out of Elune and Rahz spell range avoiding getting hit.

Riddick transformed as well becoming 30 ft tall himself but inside the sea of monster, he didn't looked as imposing as before. Eidolic Wards went out left and right and kept the team save from the jaws of their enemies but the momentum gathered by the sharks sent them back every time they collided with each other.

Rahz took out apocalypse and try to swing it around but found out that the momentum he could generated from the swing of the weapon was only a third of what it was in the open air. Despite the handicap nobody could deny the sharpness of the Ancient Weapon and as long as it manage to hit a creature it left a cut.

Blood started to spread through the water and this attracted even more creatures to the scene, however, it was clear that beast of a certain level started to develop wisdom as none of them attack their own injured people.

CHAOS CHAINS

CHAOS BLADES

Riddick didn't have to move from his place as the Shark just came in and try to take a bite to his legs, all he had to do was to tie them up with the Chaos Chains while he impaled them with his polearm that went through the skull of the Sharks with minimal friction.

Rahz took note of his brother's strategy and also found Chaos Chains to be extremely effective due to the wide area of effect. The slippery enemies were caught in place and then finished with a couple of well place Chaos Blades that cut into the massive bodies and corroded their meat.

The sea was changing color and the longer the fight went, the redder the sea became.

The Manatee Elder and a few valiant warriors followed the team on a small fishing boat just in case somebody need to come up to rest as even their best swimmers would find it extremely taxing to fight underwater. The smell of blood was not able to make it to the surface but the sea started to become darker and darker and when the elder grabbed a couple of handfuls he was able to see the blood mixed in.

Fear started to creep inside the Atlantus people and for good reason, all that blood was bound to attract the Megalodon and they were not wrong.

The Dorsal Fin of the 60 ft Shark was seen by the Atlantus people and they immediately regretted their decision to get on the water, the massive body of the shark brought with it a fair seize wave that continue moving towards them when the massive creature took a sharp turn.

The boat was lifted up by the wave and it never managed to clear passed it as it was pushed back towards the shore in vertical position while the Elder screamed, "Jump!! Jump to the water and get under it"

It was a good idea but the turbulence underneath still grabbed them like a blender and disoriented them all the way to the shore. The Elder had vast experience and was able to collect himself and void some of the danger but unfortunately a couple of the low level warriors were not so lucky and end up smashed against some rocks.

"Here it comes guys"

The Megalodon saw Riddick and immediately move like a torpedo in his direction while opening his gigantic jaws that had a diameter of at least 15 ft.

Riddick welcome the Challenge and cemented his 4 legs well into the floor and receive the massive head with one hand in the nose and the other one on the lower Jaw while immolation was active.

BOOM!

Irresistible force met and an immovable object and the impact generated a wave at the point of impact that send the megalodon swimming upward while Riddick legs buckled and he lost balance and fell sideways towards the sea floor.
