Tyrant 161 Confrontation part 3

The initial burst had rip the lives of 5,000 devas but the core of their army was intact and very soon even Midori had to used her Shadow Step to move back as the sheer amount of spells coming her way started to create wounds on her metallic skin.

The pressure Midori brought to the Deva side was enormous and it was one of the reason the Asuras had been winning the fight but that all change when she had to move back and the Druids that were helping the clerics mend the wounds on their troops had time to shift their attention to attacking.

CALL OF NATURE!!

200 druids cast the spell in unison as 1000 trees came to live and started attacking the Asura from both their sides while the deva Shield Warriors started moving forward.

Squad one, FIREBALL

Squad two, Chain Lightning

Squad three, Ice blast on the Warriors

All the mages from the devas cast the same spells whether it was Fireball or Ice Blast in an organized manner causing the spells to overlap in the same area maximizing the damage they caused. The healers in the Asura side started to feel the pressure immediately and even layering ward and heals their coordination was not even close to what was needed.

The people that they were actually able to save came at the price of Massive resources in terms of their mana and many of the people they wanted to save just got one shot without even having a chance to retaliate. The treants flanking them also ensure that they couldn't disperse sideways forcing them to move backwards and the few people they had attacking in the shadows were starting to fail in their attempts.

Elune try to command her troops the best she could but their coordination was horrible, Omega had truly grasp the weakness of the opposite side and hit them extremely hard. The warlocks, Furys, and others threw area of effect spells in the enemy but their spells didn't overlap like their opponents and the damage was easily nullified by their healers.

Things were horrible for the Asura's and they started dropping like flies, for every deva that fell 3 asuras were burned by fireballs and became Ash.

"COMMANDER… HEALERS ARE RUNNING OUT MANA TOO QUICK, AT THIS RATE WE WILL BE CRUSHED IN LESS THAN AN HOUR"

Elune sighed and knew that it was up to her to change the tides of the battle once more.

The reason she had not used her trump card so far was that there was a feeling of danger that kept assailing her soul and she felt that the moment she went all out, they would be sitting ducks.

It was a tough choice but while she was stuck between a rock and a hard place her troops were dying at a fast rate, if she waited any longer then the situation may not reversible.

Elune's totemic form of a Val'gun Roared to the skies as a blue pillar descended onto the battlefield.

MAW OF SOULS

The Maw of Souls was a spells that allowed the Defiler to collect the souls of the deceased to increased the baleful aura that was the resource necessary to use the spells related to the soul. The Fresh souls of the warriors from both sides gravitated towards the pillar of light before the Val'gun Avatar open his Jaws and a very powerful suction started swallowing them up.

The wails of the souls were extremely piercing and caused pain to the very soul of everyone around especially to the close combat fighters that didn't have a soul defenses.

The only problem was that the wails affected everyone in the battlefield including the Asuras so they missed the opportunity to attack their enemies and kill them while they were discapacitated.

The feeling of dread intensified with every soul that disappeared inside the mouth of the giant Val'gun incarnation and the Ronin felt a very sinister aura in the shape of a scythe close in on his throat but he knew that the worst was yet to come.

ONE WITH THE SWORD

The Aura of the Samurai shot to the Sky as all his defenses shot to the roof especially the ones pertaining to the mind and soul. Any attack that came his way was cut by the aura whether it was elemental, nature or physical or psychic he floated in the air like a giant sword, however, the moment he used the skill he was unable to attack.

The moment the last soul was consumed, Elune started and incantation to her deity Louxx the Plaguebringer.

"Oh my lady, your faithful servant calls upon thee

Show my enemies the true beauty of your Kingdom

Please show them the Ultimate Beauty of Decaying Flesh"

CURSE OF THE SPIRITS

The sky went darker than night, it was a kind of darkness that left people feeling like they were alone in the deepest corner of an Abyss where light can not reach, they felt no warmth and visions of them committing the most hideous crimes against the people they loved filled their mind.

When the visions finally stopped, tears were streaming down each and everyone of the Deva troops except for the Ronin that was encased in sword energy fighting the darkness.

In the middle of the Darkness a very quiet sound was heard and as people looked in that direction, the sound of dragging feet got louder and louder while a hunch lady moved Closer and Closer. The lady carry the head of the person they loved the most in her rotting hand while pustules full of pus burst from their love ones head.

Outside the Illusion of the curse, Elune and the others saw a very different thing. The moment the sky went dark a brown smoke left her avatar anklet on Elune's leg and flew into the sky taking the form of a tiny head with her eyes sewed shut that quickly expanded and passed through all her enemies.

Everyone in the Deva Side stop moving as expressions of terror appeared on their faces and tears extreme down their faces while pustules appeared on their skin that broke apart and started decomposing the healthy flesh.

The people with higher levels and nature energy took longer to decompose but the ones with weaker bodies decompose in seconds. The putrid smell of decomposing flesh quickly assailed the Asuras noses and many couldn't contained their desired to puke.

The Avatar of the plaguebringer was one of the most fear entities in the war of the Shattering because not only were the way it killed gruesome but the spells were hard to resist even for the draconians.

The amount of souls collected by Elune before she cast the spell was massive and this ensure that the spell could last until each and everyone of the troops on the Deva side were a puddle of decompose meat on the floor.

Time past and the death toll continued to climb and when the amount of death reached close to 12,000 people, the dark sky disappeared and the Sun Shone down on everyone while a gigantic ball of light felled in the middle of the deva troops exploding outward creating a dome that heal everyone inside even helping regrow the putrid skin of everyone that was still alive.

Only a spell that had some form of divinity could destroy her avatar set spell and that was disastrous news for Elune and the others.

20 Winged lions appeared in the sky and travelled fast towards the Battlefield and as the lions moved closer, the Golden Hair of the leader carrying a two handed sword that absorb the Rays of the sun was seen.

Panic was seen in the faces of Rahz's friends as they all shouted in Unison, "OMEGA!"

According to Distortion Omega was supposed to be leading the mecha troops to other places to caused massive loses while the Asura side was lacking leaders to stop him in his tracks.

The grimace in everyone's faces filled Omega with happiness as he knew that they had fallen for his plan.

"HAHAHAHA… So predictable...It worked on Nightmare all those years ago and now thanks to Distortion stupidity the famous leader of the Demon Squad will know despair before he dies separated from the people he loves the most. Distortion fancy himself a strategist but he is light years away from being able to go toe to toe against me"

Sweat came down Liz's forehead while she descended in her Pink flying machine from the sky and quickly found out that the space was being jammed and there was no way to create a portal to try and escape the region.

Elune didn't lose her cool and looked towards an empty space and gave a signal to Hennessy so that she could transmit the S.O.S to Riddick.

"We have been trick Omega is here" said Hennessy through her soul link.

Rahz turned to look at his brother's pale face and said, "What Happened?"
