Rahz was ready to intervene and help Xiao kill the assailant but the moment he heard the anger in his friend's voice, he backed up and gave him some space. In Xiao's eyes, the gourmet was but a youngster that had a little bit of talent and after having just a little success had lost the respects for his ancestors.

The gourmet didn't lose any time and started to run in all fours despite having a humanoid body and when he was in striking range, he activated the skill Feral Frenzy that allowed him to attack his target 5 times non stop while sending five shadow claws every time he swiped.

Xiao looked at his target with disdain and was determined to crush him under his feet, he was the child of nature and had being granted the status of king by the realm. Xiao activated 2 skills at once Savage Roar increasing the damage of all his skill to another level followed by Whirlwind that encased him in a giant tornado that defend him from all attacks.

The Whirlwind was pretty massive and although it was not 100% impenetrable, if the gourmet wanted to damage Xiao, he had to take damage as well.

Rahz and the others that were observing the fight thought that there was no way that the panther looking humanoid would be dumb enough to get inside what it looked like a death trap but they were wrong.

The gourmet's eyes were bright red and just when he was about to smash against the wind wall he disappeared into a shadow and cross the threshold without getting hit.

Elune gasp at the sight and try to cast a ward on Xiao but Rahz quickly stopped her and shook his head. The fight they were observing was about pride and respect, and receiving outside help could create a heart demon and tarnish his reputation. This attitude was something that Elune didn't understand and thought off as a stupid thing that had no value if he was dead, however, it was the animal kingdom and it was Xiao's duty to defend his throne.

Thanks to their soul transfer, Rahz had also experience Xiao's live and knew just how strong he was and in Rahz opinion the panther looking humanoid was like a child in front of an Adult.

Xiao didn't panic when he saw his opponent disappeared into the shadows and even sneered while the Tiger marks that seem to be moving around his body came to live and shot towards the shadows trying to impale the gourmet.

Everything happened really fast and the gourmet saw himself between a rock and a hard place but decided to leave the shadows even if it meant catching the tail of the Whirlwind. Feral Frenzy went off and shadow claws came crashing towards Xiao that recalled some of his markings to defend further but still got cut.

The Damage received by the panther from the Whirlwind was a lot more than what he was able to inflict on his opponent so he activated the Skill Survival Instinct that decreased the damage taken by a large margin and move out of the tornado but not before receiving a few more wounds.

"AHHHH how Sweet!!" said the Gourmet while licking Xiao's blood that was smeared on his claws.

WIND BLADES!

Xiao pressed the attack with a plethora of blades that the Gourmet evade it with very nimble movements while laughing and yelling at the top of his lungs.

"I CAN TELL ALREADY, YOU ARE GOING TO BE DELICIOUS"

The comment made Xiao even more angry and the speed of Wind Blades increased even more, the zone itself was already a flat land with trees and even Rocks cut neatly in two.

The Gourmet's agility was really tested in the fight and just when he least expected his opponent started dashing towards him and became a bolt of lightning heading straight for him.

The Gourmet's pupils shrunk and he had no other choice but to meet his opponent's attack with the strongest attack on his arsenal PRIMAL WRATH…

The Gourmets muscles bulge and he slashed with both hands in a criss cross manner creating a distortion in the area as the Energy continued forward towards the incoming lightning.

A giant Shockwave was generated and Xiao was push backwards but the Gourmet was in worst shape since some of the lightning reached him and was now coursing through his body and was consuming his defensive KI trying to invade his body.

The opportunity to attack was not lost on Xiao that triple in size reaching a height of about 15 feet and jumped towards the gourmet with both front paws up. The massive paws connected and not only send the Gourmet flying but teared big chunks of meat from his chest while lightning invaded the new wounds.

The situation was deteriorating by second for the panther that thought about retreating but the giant jaws heading straight for his face said otherwise. It was the first time in his entire life that the gourmet had been pushed so hard and was not able to use his skill to his advantage.

The beast in front of him was 5 levels lower than him and that fooled him into thinking he had an advantage and even if the bloodline suppression was barely there, he had killed many tigers and had fought the leaders of his race to a draw many times so that had filled him with false security that he could take care of the creature in front of him or at least escape with his life.

The gourmet tried to flee and saved his life but it wasn't that easy, the moment he used his final defensive trump card called WILD SHADOWS to move to a shadow of anything in nature, the Tiger Markings activate and shot straight to him and impale him on his tight forcing him out of the shadows. If it was at the beginning of the fight he might had been able to react in time but the bleeding on his chest would not stop and the lightning constantly numb his cells.

Xiao went for the Jugular and even if the gourmet try to defend with his claws the pair of jaws of a 15 ft tiger where huge and lodge themselves on his neck.

Xiao decreased his size and then Rahz and the others gasped at what they saw, Xiao cut open the belly of the gourmet and began eating his organs one by one. The meal started with the liver and finishing with the heart.

All the creatures in the vicinity ran even further from the area as they felt the might of the roar and they didn't want anything to do with it.

In the town of Belfast Omega was being brief of the status of the 12000 that had cross over and when he heard the leaders of the Temple of the Dreadnought had fallen, he smiled from ear to ear and said to his assistant, "Good...good… we need to make them more desperate for our plan to succeed, start the next stage"

Sigfrid looked at Omega and frowned, it was too early for them to move forward with the plan due to their inability to attack the towns, if people were to move back and turtle until the last 6 months of the 2 year period then they could be at a disadvantage.

On the other hand, it was a great opportunity for them to do a full court press and bottled their enemies inside their own territory while crushing their morale.
