Tyrant 119 Payback

The people around them were all having a good time and drinking but little by little they got lost in the tale and nobody could stop listening to it, it sounded so real that when he finish the whole Tavern was as quiet as a mouse.

"You sound like you were there Kid?"

"I was and saw everything happened with my own eyes"

"Bullshit!! I heard that the Demon Squad killed the son of the director of the Silverwing Auction House because he refused to waive their commission on the Ancient Gold Coins"

I heard the same thing...

"Do you have any proof?"

Everyone in the tavern including Giant Blade and his wives that were caught up in the story fixed their eyes on Rahz, there was nothing like listening to a story eating BBQ and drinking an ALE.

Rahz grin from ear to ear and said, "Do I have proof? Of course… Midori show them the power of the shadow serpent".

Midori increased in size and disappeared from where she was and before anybody could blink she was coming out of the shadow belonging to the guy that questioned Rahz and the she proceeded to wrapped herself around his body. Everybody turned to look and gasped.

The ones too scared to move stared at the guy soiling himself while being wrapped up like a tamale. There were also greedy eyes looking at the scene and fancy themselves a million gold coins just for giving information, but nobody attempted to kill her.

"Who are you?"

"Well my name is Rahz of Helgahvall but a lot of people seem to know me as the Behemoth, leader of the Demon Squad"

Chaos Fire appeared from his hand matching some of the rumors going around about the Behemoth and nobody wanted to see the scaleborn go ape shit and killing everyone in the establishment.

Midori reduced her size and reappear on Rahz's neck and rubbed her face on his cheek. Rahz took his eyes from everyone and acted like nothing happened while saying to Giant Blade lets stay the night, the Ale seems to be pretty good".

The news about their encountered with some of the members of the Demon Squad spread like wildfire and a lot people went to catch in on the 1,000,000 gold coins for the information but since close to 10,000 people gave the same info they ended up with about 100 gold coins a piece but they felt safe from retribution cause what would the Demon Squad do, Kill 10,000 people?

That night, the director of that town's auction house sent the news to Mycroft in Naas and proceeded to ask for his choice of item from Mycroft's stash for taking it upon himself to delivered the bodies of Rahz and the others. The director got the OK and proceeded to assemble all the staff from the branch and created a perimeter around the Inn Rahz was staying at.

Hennessy appeared in the room and reported to the group that just as predicted there was a group of people surrounding the Inn and that they had a strong character with them. Giant Blade smiled and held one of his wives hand, "Why don't you give them a going away present and make it a nice dream, I know how you like to tease the ones about to depart".

The people that went to the Inn for a show, woke up in the middle of the street with pain on their backs since they had slept on the floor. They remembered following the people from the Auction House and then before they knew it, they woke up laying on the streets and was already daylight.

The Demon Squad was gone and so were the followers of the God of Justice, it was like it didn't happen, it was so bizarre some people actually started doubting that the night ever took place.

The followers of the God of Justice woke up and they were certain that everything wasn't a dream, they were in the middle of the forest and were tie up with a magical robe that was impossible for them to break. In front of them stood a 10 ft serpent and a young half barbarian/half elf that look too pretty to be a guy.

"Thank you for joining us this fine morning, I wanted to show you the same courtesy Ross Moriarty show little Emma but that would take too long. I got things to do and Odos' followers to kill but don't worry, I would make sure you are recycle as an Elysian".

HA HA HA!!

"Lord Odos' will receive us as heroes that embraced his teachings to the fullest go ahead, kill us and sent us to his Realm".

Rahz smiled and said "No he won't"

The heads of the God of Justice followers started rolling but then an illusion of a Demon Skull started to swallow the souls of the departed and destroying the parasites returning the souls to the realm and given Rahz the part of the spirit that they were stealing away.

The amount of spirit was massive and not only increased his level by 5 in one go but it also made it so that he could feel nature a lot easier. The spirit entered Rahz's body and his bones started taking an Iron luster and the cells on his body became tougher but most important of all the Energy Channels in his body doubled in size.

Giant Blade was looking at the changes through his goggles but also saw the phenomena with the Demon Skull swallowing the souls of the God of Justice followers.

During the swallowing process, they could actually see the parasites that looked like tentacles full of runes filled with energy and the ghostly figured of the deceased.

"Explained" said Giant Blade looking serious.

"What would you like to know teacher"

"Everything, I knew your performance last night was a ruse against the God of Justice followers but what is wrong with their souls and that demon skull and your changes, I thought.. I could stop my curiosity as everyone has their secrets but this is too much and if I have to go against the God of Justice, I need to know".

"I don't know if you'll believe me but I can only promised that it would be the truth of what happened during the test".

"The Hidden Room Test was created by the spirit of a powerful weapon named Apocalypse, however, this weapon was not created by any of the gods like the avatar sets or the Belt of the Titan I was wearing before. It was created by the Realm".

"Which Realm?"

"The realm of Elysian of course…"

"Is that possible, I never heard of weapons created by the realm. It must be super powerful"

Everyone nodded as Rahz continued his story "The test required me to beat the toughest fights in my life without using the Rune of the Awakened to use the skills"

"When I was 5 years old, I fought a bear 2 levels above me. He caught me by surprise and I thought I was going to die but without realising it I was able to activate a form of the Bloodlust that was a lot more powerful than the one given by the gods. I never knew why but everytime something bad happened this skill provided me with amazing strength, as it turned out Apocalypse said that what I did was unlocking my potential and it was the true path of cultivation of the realm of Elysian".

"The reason I went back to level 1 was that I gave up the help of the gods and my Rune of the Awakened. Instead, I embraced my destiny as an Elysian. Apocalypse has a very peculiar ability that feeds on that parasite on the souls of the wicked and cleans the soul so it can go back into the cycle of reincarnation of the realm with a clean slate"

"Fuck me.. So what you are doing is helping those bastards of the God of Justice and sticking it to Odos himself.. Well done my young padawan ( don't blame it I had to do it, it is an Iconic Line)"

Rahz nodded and was surprised that his explanation was interpreted that way but it was too early to tell them the truth, after all for Giant Blade and the others there was no coming back. However, What he heard next was even more mind boggling and it came from Jazz, "He buddy, promised me that if I am about to die you would be the one to kill me and make sure I am reborn in this Realm, HAHAHA.. fuck you Balthazar… this is great!!"
