Tyrant 103 Needle in a Haystack

"Lady of the moon is looking for a dangerous demon that was traveling with our caravan and might look like a serpent. Our job is to communicate with her apprentice the moment we see him about. He travels in a group of 4 people and I heard that one of them wants to make it into the temple of the Dreadnought and is heading there to take the test".

Thug'dromog was taken aback at the fact that somebody from the outside wanted to be a Dreadnought since all the warriors from the outside usually took the road of the Berserker that was more balance than their path.

"How can he become a Dreadnought without Chaos Fire?"

"He is a weird one for sure, he and his twin have runes on their bodies like those ( Survivor pointed at Thug and his apprentice) and they are very similar in color to some of the stages of the moon".

"Can you extract a memory?"

The Illusionist wave his hand and a still picture of the memory was projected in the air.

"Wait a second, I saw them" Said the apprentice before commenting once more, "They were there when we were investigating what happened but I didn't pay much attention as they were extremely weak".

"That one with the Reptile eyes is a little weird, It has the base of an Elf and I guess a Barbarian?" Said the High Elf looking pensive, "Why does she want to find the group?"

"She said that the demon was dangerous and that there would be more money for us, she is rich!! she gave us a mountain of gold, it was a lot more money I have seen my whole life".

"Is there anything else?" asked the High Elf.

"She was talking to her apprentice about torturing the person who told them the son of Azgorth was with us...or something like that, I was just too scared"

Thug got exasperated after hearing the name and immediately grabbed the survivor by their neck and growled "SHE SAID THE SON OF AZGORTH ARE YOU SURE?"

"I think if you release his neck he might tell you…"

"Yes, She said he can become anyone even the Shadow Serpent"

Thug'dromog furrowed his brows and said to his apprentice we need to find him before she does, I leave that task to you. I need to take a trip to mount doom and talk to the Elder and try to get asylum.

"I owe you one friend, lets enjoy some ale when this is over"

The High Elf smiled and turned around before fading into the Dark alley, the problem with the son of the Engine of destruction was for the demons to take care off. The issue he was concerned about was the 2 half elf in the memory of the survivor, half elf/half barbarian 'what an interesting combination but is impossible, little Etta's Child shouldn't be more than 14 years old right now but they were definitely High Elf, hmmm...I guess I got to make a trip back home'.

The search for the son of Azgorth started in full swing around the skirts of the city but the person in question was just having fun Leveling in the planes of the abyss killing creatures in hordes. It was so extreme that Jazz had to beg for mercy as he was force to play the drum and whistle for hours on end. Jazz liked to talk but after he joined Rahz team he was extremely quiet at night but the worst part was that all he had available to drink was water and unlimited fruit juice.

On the second week of hunting and almost a thousand second evolution creatures that included, Dreadsabers, Zerglings, and Amber scorpions fell to their teamwork and the energy they received was massive helping Riddick and Midori reached Level 21.

"When the food is gone, is time to move on" Said Jazz with a grin on his face as Rahz told him their food supply brought from the outside was running super low. Jazz knew that the only thing his new team like more than hunting was eating different species no matter how disgusting they looked, they were gourmets. Jazz figured that he need it to work that angle if he wanted to take a break, he went from freedom to being Itunes for the pleasure and enjoyment of his teammates.

The statement worked as all of the sudden Rahz and the others didn't want to hunt anymore. They were now an incredible amount of things to do in the city and very little time. Jazz smiled and activated Performance Resonance 19 and then Accelerando.

They were flying through the planes towards the city and this also train their dynamic vision as the landscapes were just a blur. The group had being hunting way out in the boonies and by the time they arrived in Shinjuku they did it from the opposite than the road they were coming from initially. Inadvertently, they had avoided both groups looking for them and had successfully reached a pretty lively inn for the middle class of Shinjuku where according to Jazz had the best Ale and food in all of the city.

Reaching level 21 brought Midori a much needed skill, the ability to resize her body to as little as 1 ft long. For the untrained eye this ability might seem ornamental but it was overpower as she could become smaller to avoid attacks and increased her agility by a large margin and then increased her size quickly for an amazing impact. At master levels of the skill the wielder could increase certain parts of their body, for example Midori could alienate a segment of her tail and return it to the normal size for a Tail Whip while the rest of her body remain in the tiny form.

Jazz enter the establishment followed by two people that look almost the same except one had weird eyes and the other a very loud purple hair. They had a weird serpent jumping from one to the other like she was having the time of her life. A lot of the people looked towards the newcomers and immediately sparks started flying from a table that had 5 people in the second evolution from Level 20 to the highest which was a level 22.

Jazz looked towards the table and sneered, the different factions that control the city made it very difficult to stop all the crime that happened everyday, and so everyone was responsible for their own actions including murder. If there was a dispute and somebody died then you were responsible for the disposal of the corpses and this was the beauty of the city because corpses themselves were a business opportunity. The most famous company for the disposal of corpses was called Necromancers R' Us that would actually do it for free if they were of the right level.

It was a win for all the parties involved and the only thing to consider was if they were part of a faction in which case, shit just got real and the best thing to do was to leave the city before they became a necromancers pet. There were many levels of factions from small gangs to Massive organizations lead by even 4th tiers.

The moment the people table saw Jazz walked in, they were surprised to say the least, the money they made that day had kept them drinking and eating good for the past 3 weeks and their favorite joke was the tale of the dwarf bard that was stupid enough to try and steal from them.

Jazz sneered but he knew it was his own fault that he was almost killed by his previous teammates so he took the high road and went straight for the counter. "Ahoy!! Old timer we need 3 rooms" said Jazz before looking at Rahz who shook his head. "Pardon me, We need 2 rooms" He turned again towards Rahz that shook his head again. Jazz lifted his hand with one finger sticking up and whisper "One room" then he saw his teammates nodded. Jazz shoulders droop to the floor and dejectedly said, " One large room with 3 beds Chief"

The old man laughed with gusto and smack Jazz in the back while saying, "You haven't changed much kid, I am glad you are ok. Dinner included I supposed, For the 3 of you it would be 2 golds for the room and 50 silver for the meals".

Midori HISSS at Jazz that neglected to correct the manager quickly and that made him nervous. "It would be 4 meals Old Man"

"ROLFFF, sure thing guys that would be 4 gold for the night"

Rahz took out 40 gold and pay enough for 10 days since they didn't know how long it will take them to find a mage to travel to the temple.
