At four times the gravity the only people left alive were the level 20s and above, but some of the stronger first evolution were fighting for their lives while coughing up blood and using their energy to counter the effect.

After the Dark Sphere was done, the Demon took out an artifact in the shape of a bird cage which the third tiers recognize but before they could say " What the Fuck" they were all sucked in. Whatever was left on the ground, materials, corpses, carts were then incinerated by a dark blue fire that presented shades of green. The Demon made sure everything was toast and had become dust before he disappeared from the scene and all that was left were the ashes dissipating in the wind.

On another location, Jazz was telling the team how he got beat up to such a state. The movement speed buff Accelerando could be place on an area around the caster and couple with the Spirit of the Wolf from Elune they were literally flying through the planes on their way back to the caravan. As it turned out Jazz was on his quest for his second evolution and in order to become a troubadour he had to impress at least 50 people with his music and songs but the hidden quest required him to also slay second evolution creatures while in a party but the main condition was that the Beast's Level had to be equal to the average level of his group.

The problem arose when God Balthazar the King of Thieves told him he had to keep all the loot from the hunting no matter how he did it.

"I tried to tell the adventurer group I assembled, that since I was just giving them enhancement through my songs I could carry the loot to make hunting easier for everybody, my plan was to stiff them when they were resting and run away with the loot. Unfortunately, I got caught before my movement speed spell went off and the rest well... you already know"

Rahz and the others laughed at his story and then said, "We can help you finish the quest, it sounds pretty easy and we really don't need the loot. How many do you have to kill?"

One hundred…

Easy... after we get to the caravan we can rest and then we can go hunting while they are moving.

Jazz eyes lit up and was laughing merrily while telling them how he left his home seven years before when he was 10 because he was trick by Balthazar about choosing a path that was filled with the love of pretty girls and free alcohol.

"I like pretty girls and love alcohol so I said signed me in and the bastard gave me this stupid drum and said it was a legendary item part of an avatar set call the entertainer but it's bullshit... It does nothing at all, no enhancement and is so hard to use it takes all I have just to hit it hard enough to make a sound. Not only that, I am suppose to learn other instruments but look at my hands they are blacksmithing hands, I can't possibly play a flute or a guitar for that matter, so I can't barely use any skills"

At this point the team reach where the caravan was suppose to be but saw nothing, the only thing left was the smell of burn skin and hair and they were very familiar with the smell of people killed by fire thanks to Riddick.

Riddick used his life flame, the one used by him to extract the energy from corpses and very soon remaining strands of Energy were gathered to it. Seeing this they all understood that people had died.

Whoosh… Whoosh...whoosh

Three different portals opened up and out of each one of them came a very different demon followed by a robe individual that seem to be very respectful to the demon in front. The only thing in common was that they all display auras that made Rahz and the others feel like a speck of dust in the universe.

The first demon had a couple of Lances in each of his hands and a few more on his back. He had feathers of multiple colors on his headpiece and for his bottoms, he had leather pants like an Apache. There was no armor or anything in his torso and he was at least 8 ft tall and had greyish skin that was pretty tough, he had a pretty long nose and red eyes.

The second was the biggest of them all in terms of muscles and shear size. He had a necklace full of tiny skulls of different shapes and a baleful aura all over his body. Spirits seem to scream from time to time as they disappear and reappear around him.

The last one of the bunch was a very skinny demon with runes all over his body and 2 warglaives on his back. His eyes were aquamarine in color and his demeanor was really similar to Rahz but a lot Wilder.

The smell in the air told them what happened but them the demon with the baleful aura and the screaming spirits took a skull from his necklace and murmur something making the skull float into the air and release a light blue color mist that was extremely spooky, after it covered the area, it showed a few bright lights in different positions.

The Witch Doctor looked at the scene and communicated with Elune letting her know what was happening, "A capable apprentice of the soul arts, he doesn't have your talent but he must have a powerful teacher helping him. He is checking for resentful souls he can consume to learn what happened. You should be able to feel them as well. Once you evolve and get the baleful aura you could do the same without the need for assistance from a soul item, just make sure to get the Rahz's tooth".

The Witch Doctor consume the souls and after a few seconds he said, "it was Ezekiel but why would he risk angering your master". The demon with the skulls turned to look at the skinny guy with the warglaives but no answer came, only his eyes flashed before he turned around and the mage behind him opened a portal.

The demon with the Lances also turned around saying " Not our problem this time, but finally something fun to look forward to".

The Witch Doctor was about to depart as well after getting his job done but an aura of a weak soul he couldn't enslave called his attention. The moment he turned around he saw 5 people standing there looking in his direction. He scan them over and when his eyes passed over Elune there was an aura he felt in his master lingering about.

The moment he wanted to probe further, a really weak soul came out and said, "you can't have me, Lady Louxx gifted me to her and no mortal can undo what has been done by the Gods".

The demon didn't believe him and cast a spell but the bracelet on Elune's ankle shone and a deep green light invaded the demon's body.

"Kids are so impatient sometimes" said Gilgamesh shaking his head.

The light started to melt the Demon's skin and he had to used 1000 souls to stop the curse.

Sigh…

The attitude of the demon humbled down a little as he meditated on what to do.

"What are you doing here?"

"We were coming back to the caravan that we were traveling with but there is nothing left of it and then you showed up" said Rahz a little annoyed.

The moment the mage saw Rahz way of speaking to his master, he was about to take care of the insolent ant but he was stopped. It was prohibited to kill anybody from the outside on the road to the Shinjuku and nobody was an exception. There was already plenty of trouble with the caravan that was annihilated and they didn't need more headaches.

"The caravan is no more, we are the people responsible for the investigation and rest assure that we will take care of it"

The team look at each other and didn't know what to say but before they could do anything, the powerful demon said something that surprised all of them.

"You two need to come with me to see my teacher, we can do this the easy way or I can take you by force but I rather not do something so troublesome. This might be a great opportunity for you, in the abyss people like us are respected instead of condemned".

Elune heard the words coming from the Demon in from of her and knew she had no choice but to go. She looked at her friends ready to fight for her the moment she gave the signal and her heart warmed up a little, this was her new family.

"Rahz, since you are going to go to the dreadnought temple to learn maybe this is a great opportunity for me to increase my strength, take Midori with you, she can tell you if I am still alive or not, if anything happens to me you know what to do. She came close to Rahz and extended her hand towards the Purple Tooth on his neck. Lent me this, I promise to give it back when we see each other again, It's Promise".

Rahz smiled and said " You can have it, Next time I see you, we can go and avenge your family"

Elune said goodbye to all the team members and disappeared into the portal.
