The next morning arrived.

Within Room 206 of Renyi Hospital, the door creaked open as a young man entered. His eyes possessed an unusual depth, his features were exquisite, and an air of nobility emanated from him.

The elderly man lying in bed stirred his fingers and slowly opened his eyes, as if sensing something. Upon seeing his grandson, his gaze softened, and he weakly uttered, “You rascal…”

He parted his parched lips. “You're awake?”

“Where are we?” The old man strained to open his eyes fully, scanning the surroundings. “What's wrong with me?” Why did he feel so feeble and frail?

Bo Yi smiled. “You decided to go on a hunger strike, didn't you?” He had refused to eat or take any medication. Bo Yi was determined to push him to his limits, forcing him to confront his deeds.

The old man, with his grandson's reminder, seemed to recollect the situation. He realized his time was running out, and he desired to hasten his grandson's fate.

Attempting to turn over, the old man winced in pain. “Ouch, it hurts… it hurts…”

Bo Yi didn't assist him in getting up. Instead, he remarked, “You're fortunate to still be alive.” The pain should be inconsequential to him.

“You little rascal, can't you be kinder to me when I've just woken up?” The old man lamented, “It's your fault. How long has it been since you last visited me?”

If it weren't for the medication and the critical surgery, this rascal wouldn't have found the time to pay him a visit.

“Why do you have to bring that up?” Every time he came here, his grandfather would mention Cheng Yuqi, the Cheng Family's daughter, and their engagement.

Observing the grandfather and grandson in another argument, Mu Qing attempted to defuse the situation. “Old Master, please don't be angry. Master Bo has been incredibly busy lately…”

Bo Yi set the breakfast down and placed it in front of the Old Master. “Mu Qing is indeed searching for a girlfriend, and you're managing his love life now?”

“I'll do it!” The old man agreed outright. Mu Qing was about to be touched, but then the old man added, “Actually, that won't happen. But Mu Qing, if you do find a girlfriend, I promise to ensure this rascal gives you more days off or guarantees no overtime work on weekends. I'll even give you a generous red envelope so that he can hire more assistants to share your workload!”

Upon hearing this, Mu Qing felt immensely touched.

“And most importantly, your salary and benefits should be increased!” Grandpa Sheng chimed in.
