Narrowing their eyes, Qi Yue and Shi Yan as the air around them started glowing with intense blue light.

Turning around, an Old Woman with wrinkles all over her face was floating above the pavilion.

"Disciple Sheng Tian, apologize for insulting my disciple and I will let this matter rest. Or else, you won't be able to face the consequences." she glared deep into Sheng Tian's eyes.

"Hahaha" an amused chuckle escaped his lips as Sheng Tian's shoulders trembled uncontrollably.

"What do you think you are doing, Master of Qi Yue? As someone of Senior generation, shouldn't you mind your own affairs and not meddle your finger in here?" without averting his gaze, he spoke with unwavering confidence.

The lake nearby froze in no time as everyone felt the horrifying power and coldness of the attack being created by the Old Woman.

"Apologize? Do you take me as a pushover just because you were born a hundred years earlier? Try me." pointing a finger to himself, Sheng Tian raised his head high and shouted.

"You refused the toast only to drink a forfeit." a dazzling blue spear made of profound energy shot at Sheng Tian at a terrifying speed.

The spear appeared in front of Sheng Tian's dantian in the blink of an eye.

"Who dares?"

Just as it was about to penetrate his body, a thunderous voice shook the entire sky as the spear disintegrated into countless specks.

Standing in front of Sheng Tian was the Old Man. He looked at the Old Woman in the sky and said with his eyes narrowed "Qi Si, you are already this old and still try to attack a junior. Don't you know that the Senior generation shouldn't interfere with Junior generation's matters carelessly?"

"Grand Elder, your disciple said disrespectful and shameful words to my disciple. I am only trying to discipline him, yet he acted so arrogantly. It was right of me to punish him to teach him his place." she spoke with a righteous face.

The Old Woman didn't argue back and instantly left with Qi Yue.

However, before she left, her eyes shone with a strange light when she looked at the Grand Elder. There was a kind of satisfaction in her eyes.

The Old Man left without even talking to Sheng Tian. If not for Sheng Tian using the communication talisman, he didn't dare imagine what would have happened to him.
