Transcending Limits 80 The Arrogant Young Man

A cottage was built on the bank with ancient wood. It shone with elegance.

In front of the cottage is an exquisite pavilion with jade pillars. There is a long dining table with sumptuous dishes. Young people are seated in the fine chairs. Each of them had cold temperament. They are at the apex of the younger generation-the core disciples!

The host of the gathering is the handsome Young Man-Shi Yan. He had a polite smile and greeted everyone cordially, just like everyone else.

When Sheng Tian arrived at the Pavilion along with Leng Yue Yan followed by Xi Tian. He was greeted by the sight of polite interactions between the eight guys and six girls.

Seeing the three people who arrived at the entrance, everyone turned to them.

They were surprised by the uninvited guest. But having heard of 'Grand Elder's Disciple, they knew that this guy was 'Sheng Tian'. However, looking at his cultivation, they all held contempt for him.

Emitting her cold elegance, Leng Yue Yan walked towards the seat and sat down gracefully. The nearby seats are empty. Even if someone was sitting nearby, they shifted their positions away.

For some reason or the other, she was being isolated from others.

Though Sheng Tian's features stunned them, the fourteen people who soon recovered their indifferent expression. As he stepped into the pavilion, he sat down next to Leng Yue Yan disregarding the free seats.

Everyone squinted their eyes at the scene.

They classified him as someone who pursued the Ice Goddess. That alone is enough to make him a target of ridicule. The first reason for it being her fate. The second, her Icy and indifferent nature which repelled almost everyone.

Sheng Tian didn't mind it as he looked at all the core disciples of the sect-the seventeen pillars of the sect including him.

All of them were around seventeen or above. To his estimate, only Leng Yue Yan and he were below seventeen.

The lowest level of their cultivation is at the early eighth stage of the Earth Realm while the highest was at the first stage of the Sky Realm.

As expected, these are the ones standing at the top of the pyramid. With best masters, best resources and best opportunities at their hands, these people advanced at a great rate compared to their peers.

Shi Yan stood up from his chair and spoke in a scholarly tone "Fellow core disciples, I thank you for giving me face and coming here. I won't beat around the bush and announce the purpose of today's gathering.

All of us are going to the Frozen Hell, right?" he cast a glance at everyone present, finally resting his eyes on Leng Yue Yan.

His action wasn't unnoticed by others, they all shot a look at her. Their meaning was clear enough.

As Leng Yue Yan opened her cold cherry lips to speak, an arrogant voice cut her off "What the fuck? Do you think I'm thin air? Why don't you look at me?"

Everyone looked at Sheng Tian sitting beside Leng Yue Yan. Only now did they find that he was sitting on the chair with legs on the table. He was looking extremely.....arrogant. Even more arrogant were his words.

Though he might be the disciple of Grand Elder, their masters were Senior Elders of the Sect who although weaker than Grand Elder, were not much weak. If this guy thinks he can play them as he wants because of his status, then he must be dreaming.

In the disputes of the younger generation, the Older generation rarely intervenes. (because apparently, that's how cultivation world works. Smh)

Seeing how a disciple at the fourth level of Earth Realm talking to them cockily, they felt indignation and a need to teach him a lesson.

They instantly exerted pressures of their cultivation base at him. Their cold eyes revealed glee as they imagined him collapsing to the ground.

However, the next second, they were dumbfounded.

"Hmph." With a snort, all the pressure was disappeared into thin air.

Sheng Tian looked at them and spoke in a depressed tone "And here I thought you were some people worth knowing. But I guess I was wrong. You are all the legendary core disciples, eh? Cheh. To me, you are just a realm above normal people."

However, Sheng Tian was secretly shocked. When he was about to cancel the pressure earlier, he noticed that Leng Yue Yan was ready to use her own strength to help him.

Shi Yan coughed lightly in an attempt to lighten the situation. But who would've thought that

"You brat, if you cough in front of me. It will ruin the air, which in turn will touch my face. Are you trying to cough at my face and mock me?" Sheng Tian arrogantly said.

Shi Yan's cold eyes showed anger.

What the hell is wrong with him? Why is he provoking me? he thought.

A male disciple couldn't stand Sheng Tian's looks and cockiness. He is at the early ninth level of Earth Realm. Slamming the table, he stood up and glared at Sheng Tian, spoke with a face full of righteousness:

"Junior Brother. You are new to the sect. Don't think you can do anything just because you are a bit powerful. Do you think Senior Brother Shi Yan is someone you can profane and ridicule? Apologise to him now!"

As if he saw this coming, Shi Yan turned to nod at the male disciple. However, before he could that, a loud "pa" sound was heard, followed by a thud.

The male disciple who spoke earlier was lying on the ground. His left cheek swelled as it stood witness to the slap with the five red marks.

The five disciples at the first stage of the Sky Realm, which included Shi Yan and Qi Yue all narrowed their eyes.

From the speed which Sheng Tian just displayed, it is clear that he is very strong. Apparently, he is as strong if not stronger than a peak Earth Realm core disciple level genius.

But this guy is only at the fourth level of Earth Realm. So, he is disguising his cultivation with a precious artifact or he is a....freaking monster!

They directly eliminated the second possibility and thought that he was given such an artifact by his master to keep him special and let him catch his enemies off guard.

However, Sheng Tian's display of strength had, in fact, made all of them look at him in a new light. The strength possessed at his age was enough to surprise them. The disciple slapped to the ground was feeling very embarrassed and regretful.

He wanted to get on the good side of Shi Yan by insulting Sheng Tian, however, he ended up making a genius as an enemy.

No one was sure if Sheng Tian's strength was limited to the peak of Earth Realm or beyond. With the upcoming expedition insight, it would be foolish of them to form an unwanted hatred with a powerful fellow disciple.

Qi Yue, the young woman, still wearing a veil squinted her eyes as she gazed at Sheng Tian. Her thoughts started to run at a rapid pace.

Sheng Tian seemed to sense her gaze and turned around. Qi Yue almost instantly had a little charming feeling in her eyes.

Sheng Tian stared right into her eyes. He smiled kindly and spoke in a humble tone "You must be the famous 'Qi Yue'."

Qi Yue's eyes flickered for a moment before she spoke in a soft tone which held a trace of admiration "I am lucky that junior brother knows me. Junior Brother Sheng Tian's name is now the talk of the whole sect. After seeing your strength today, I have to admit that even those praises fall short."

Her words were like dropping bombs in the hearts of most of the male disciples as they opened their mouths in shock.

Qi Yue was after all an absolute beauty who is pursued by many disciples. Even the core disciples were no exception.

However, she never held any sort of relationship to a man before. Now, hearing her tone, it is obvious that she had a favorable impression of Sheng Tian. This alone is something that many would die to achieve.

Leng Yue Yan didn't make a move but her expression had a slight change. She knew for one matter that Sheng Tian having a relationship with Qi Yue might be very dangerous for him.

She was pondering over the plausible solution. If anything, according to her, his ambiguous relationship with her best friend makes her responsible to see that he is not harmed as long as it is within her capabilities.

As everyone was thinking of how this future couple would proceed, Sheng Tian's reply made them almost cough out blood:

"Of course I know that I'm too awesome to be described by mere words. Oh, and for your kind information, I am not someone who would die to get under your skirt. In fact, I can make you crawl to me. Don't play petty tricks on this Senior Brother."

*Hiss* Everyone sucked in cold breaths.
