The world shattered and so did the memories of the day.

At that moment, Sheng Tian's Soul at the centre of the Sea of Consciousness, suddenly shone with an intense white light and instantly, the Heavenly Dao of the Mythical World was surpassed.

The Five Elements no longer acted on the basis of mutual suppression and induction!

The Life and Death were disregarded. The people in their last could't die and the babies weren't born.

After conforming that Xiao Lian needed some time to respond, Sheng Tian walked up to Meng Xin. With his spirit sense, he tried to find any injuries. To his surprise, she had no injuries whatsoever.

"Meng Xin, are you alright?" he said.

She slowly opened her eyes and looked into his eyes.

'The same eyes! They no longer held the affection they once did!' a sudden thought appeared in her mind, stunning her.

Meng Xin took deep breaths and took few minutes to calm herself. Sheng Tian saw her smile at him and was relieved. But her smile felt ....familiar and different.

"What happened?" he asked, looking at the tears at the corner of her eyes.

"I lost my consciousness earlier for some strange reason. After I woke up, I felt a sudden pressure out of nowhere."

"Pressure? Wait, you also lost consciousness?!" he gawked.

Meng Xin's eyes widened as the strange things continued.

"What do you remember?" they both asked, somehow feeling a bit familiar with the situation.

"I don't remember anything other than the fact that it is important to me." he said.

"Me as well. I only know that I didn't want to forget it. I don't think we know the reason for the horrifying pressure just now, but I think you should know that us losing consciousness was no coincidence. You are not telling me the whole truth, are you?" she squinted at him.

"Let's just say I was taking a test which involves souls. I don't know anything else besides that as well. The Examiner was an idiot, he should be the one responsible for this problem." he sold out the Poor Old Dragon Soul right away.

"How? We were not even taking the test together." in disbelief, she said.

"Trust me when I'm saying the truth." he shook his head, not wanting to reveal more. "Let's talk about the effects of the test. I don't want to be affected by them just like you. I don't know how you're feeling, but I feel that I have lived with you in the past life as a couple. "Are you trying to show that you're the man in the relationship and want to earn respect?"she asked without turning her head.

With an amused smile, he said "Nope. I don't need to prove anything. I want something, I will have it."

"To be honest, I am quite confused. Are you even the same person everyone thought you were?" she sighed as she placed her elbows on the sill of window and supported her head with her hands.

"Soul Lotus!" a yell sounded in his mind as Sheng Tian almost wanted to beat up the person shouting. But the words she spoke caused him to change his mind.

"What did you just say?" he saw Xiao Lian that Xiao Lian was recovered in the Soul Lotus. At this moment, her eyes were widened and her whole body was trembling. She said in a shaky voice "Heavenly Soul Lotus!"

"For real?" Sheng Tian almost said out loud. Thankfully, Meng Xin was watching the snow and didn't pay attention to his actions.

"Yes." Xiao Lian said, her voice contained deep emotions. "I am sure that it is the aura of the Heavenly Soul Lotus. It is extremely weak. If it was not so close, I would have never found it out." she said, taking short breaths.

"You mean...." Sheng Tian narrowed his eyes as he turned his vision to Meng Xin.

On the upper garment of her Snow White dress, a white lotus pendant hung touching her bosom. If not for her bending to watch the snow, the pendant would have stayed inside her dress and they would have never known!

"Meng Xin...." he called out, a certain uncertainty in his tone.

The deep feelings in her voice made all the plans to get the pendant stop for ever.

Parents. Such a nice word it is. What did they leave behind for him? A world to struggle in? At least, her parents still loved her and he didn't want to take away the only thing they left for their daughter.

"A divine treasure?" she asked, in a small voice.

Taken back by the word 'divine' coming from her, he looked at her curiously "You know about Divine Cultivators?"

She shook her head "Not much. The Ancient Records state that Beyond Mortal Peak lies the Legendary Realm of Divine."

"Interesting. Yes, the Heavenly Soul Lotus is a divine Treasure, one of the best in fact. Now, tell me where did your parents acquire the pendant from?"

"The only thing I know is that it is from the Snow Moon Continent." Meng Xin looked into his eyes as she spoke honestly.

The reply was not the worst, but not the best either. However, Sheng Tian was not discouraged.

"Xiao Lian, hurry up. Let's go to Snow Moon Continent and search for the Heavenly Soul Lotus! Once you find it, everything will be fixed!" he spoke in excitement.

He smiled at Meng Xin "Thank you. I guess only owe you even more now. I need to go to Snow Moon Continent as well, I must, very soon.I will meet you in the Dragon Prodigy Championship."

She looked at his receding back as he left "Take care and don't become fat."

She was still processing his words as she was dazed by his smile earlier.

Hearing his words of caring, she unknowingly felt happy. But when she heard the last part, she glared at him. With a grumpy mood, she stomped her foot to vent her anger.

'Fat? When did I ever become fat?' She thought.

Sheng Tian is the only person who can make Meng Xin show such a myriad of emotions. Anyone else who knew Meng Xin including Ke'Er would only see her calmness. With mixed emotions, she exited the room.
