Sheng Tian came from the 21st century of modern earth. It's an era where a small knife cut was viewed as 'painful'.

Sheng Tian turned around to see 'Qin Cheng' on the ground.

His hair and eyes turned pitch black. He was also a devil! In fact, he even seemed stronger than others!

Sheng Tian was shocked.

Did he become a devil or was he an impersonator of the original Qin Cheng all along?

Sheng Tian broke out in cold sweat thinking of the seriousness of the situation.

If even the Young Master of Qin Clan could be a devil, then who couldn't be one?

Leng Yue Yan dashed to Sheng Tian, but she was too late to save him from being stabbed.

He clapped his hands as seven devils went to settle the twelve unconscious people back in their position and three people brought out the unconscious Ling Chen, Liu feifei and Qin Qing. They too were placed in the circular formation.

The profound energy links were formed again and the seal was being removed even faster than before.

Sheng Tian was madly using this little time to let Primal seed collect Profound Energy and heal his wounds.

With the pill and the primal seed, they were healing rapidly but he was still heavily injured.

Leng Yue Yan still had an icy cold expression on her face but in her eyes was a determination to live on.

Her death would cause too big of a disaster!

In essence, she was not living for herself but for others. That was until she met Sheng Tian and he gave her hope to live life to fight her fate and live for herself!

Even she didn't know the true extent of changes he brought to her life!

Sheng Tian was having a hard time currently as his plan was being seen through.

Now, he couldn't even use the Formless Void steps properly to hide!

In the end, he grit his teeth and brought out a pair of green coloured cylindrical objects out.

They were both the size of a palm, fitting into Sheng Tian's hands.

Sheng Tian shouted to Leng Yue Yan, who was in a relatively better condition " Get next to me, now."

Leng Yue Yan was a bit taken back by his shout but developed a bit of trust towards him after they fought together.

Sheng Tian used a little bit of profound energy as he threw the green things at the upcoming devils.

Their speed was so fast that the devils couldn't dodge them.

*BANG* *BANG*

Two loud Bangs sounded as a wave of tremendous profound energy erupted. Dust covered the entire room as a mushroom of smoke rose high into the air.

All other sounds were overshadowed by those two loud bangs.

The dust slowly settled as the smoke cleared revealing three figures standing.

Sheng Tian and Leng Yue Yan were standing next to each other. They were both covered by snow armors and layers of Ice Screens in all the directions.

And the last person was 'Qin Cheng'. He was using a profound energy barrier but it didn't help the blood flowing down his lips.

All the other devils were on the ground. It would be apt to say 'the body parts of the devils', since none of them were breathing.

The ground was littered with a smell of flesh and blood as gore, blood, limbs, and organs filled the floor. There were barely any corpse intact.

Sheng Tian who saw this all smiled.

However, he didn't feel too good inside. It was one of the9 treasures from his inheritances. And it was only a one time use.

Having such powerful explosive meant having another chance to secure life in this cruel world. But he had to use it the same day he obtained it.

Now, including the armor Qin Qing was wearing, he only had 8 treasures. Thankfully, those explosives were really helpful.

Beside him, Leng Yue Yan was stunned at devastation of the floor and the sight of the corpses.

He shot at them with his claws glowing black.

Sheng Tian was just recovering and there is no way he could be back to the peak in a span of few seconds. If it was so, then he would not even bother using the explosives.

At a distance away, the Fart Lord was sitting on a mountain, farting.

As Fart Lord listened to the commotion, he felt his eyes becoming a little wet. He wiped the corner of his eyes and muttered "Yes... I will fart for you. I will only fart for you. My farts, they...they have been worth it."

As he spoke those words, a look of determination appeared on his face as he grabbed two cylindrical green bottles each at the size of a palm.

He looked at them seriously and spoke slowly: "You shall carry the last of my farts for the younger generation and wait for my fated successor to inherit you."

He then stood up and placed the cylinders under him as he continued his holy job.

The green bottles became the myths of the Mythical World as their tales traveled from place to place and became a night time story for all the children of the world!

It became a legend many chased after their entire lives holding their farts putting their lives on the line!

Legends were typically like this. They would not be eclipsed with the passage of time, but instead, they became histories that one tried to live up to.

Sheng Tian sucked a cold breath and stopped his breath as he recalled this absurd legend.

He looked at Leng Yue Yan and told her to stop her breathing till the gases disperse. Thankfully, she listened to him once without questioning.

He was huffing and puffing as his internal organs were blasted to pieces and blood was leaking from all the corners of his body.

When he looked at Sheng Tian and Leng Yue Yan standing, he laughed maniacally and incoherently spoke "Huh...It's not life protection, I didn't think you would have ..Ice Phoenix's Blessing!... I lost but you won't win..hahah!"

Then under the gazes of the duo, he burned off his blood essence and forcefully used his movement art to enter the circular formation.

Sheng Tian guessed what was about to happen and dashed out.

He was knocked back by the barrier which would still last for one minute.

Qin Cheng dropped into one of the circular seats.

With his broken bones, ruptured internal organs, he had no way to sit. He has only one path: Death.

Even so, he wasn't willing to forsake his mission. He was alive from the blast earlier because of his own attack and the precious barrier he was given due to his position in the devil hierarchy. Even that didn't manage to change his fate.

He looked savage as he poured all the profound energy, blood energy, and life force into the red box without a shred of hesitation.

"Fuck!" Sheng Tian cursed for the Nth time as he tried to get out of the barrier. But it didn't budge an inch. It is stated that once used, the barrier would stay for 1 full minute. 1 minute means 1 minute.

Sheng Tian didn't stop his attacks. He used his physical strength to fullest and even his sword arts.

He is currently not at his peak and is only able to exert 20% of his strength after some recovery.

Leng Yue Yan, next to him, had no power to help him.

She drained all her mental and profound energy to activate the Phoenix's protection and is only trying hard to not pass out. But her eyelids slowly started feeling heavy.

"F*ck this barrier master! Why did he have to design it this way? The ones inside can't get out just like the ones outside can't get in. This piece of shit. It is now leading me to death.
