Chapter 24 Part 2

Though Lin Chuyan had promised his father that he would try in the end, he
didn't really take it too seriously. He was planning to take another route. His
father had a heart as hard as a rock, yet his mother was very malleable.

But when he checked for information about the artist, he couldn't help but
thinking about a person he knew.

The artist named Xiang Daying was from Lingxi City.

Xiang Nuan was also from Lingxi City.

Both had the same last name and come from the same city. Could there be
any connection between the two? Maybe they were relatives?

Lin Chuyan dialed Xiang Nuan's number to try and find out.

The phone rang twice and was cut off.

Lin Chuyan slightly raised his eyebrows, could she still be angry?

But when he thought about her red face when she ran away, he felt it was
quite funny and a chuckle escaped his lips.

Then he started to send message after message on WeChat to harass her.

Lin Chuyan: Are you still angry.

Lin Chuyan: Could I buy you dinner, pick any five-star restaurant.

Lin Chuyan: What skin do you want for the game, I'll buy it for you.

Lin Chuyan: I'll lie flat and let you beat me up.

Lin Chuyan: Don't be angry.

Soon after that last message, Xiang Nuan called him on her own.

“What are you trying to do?” She asked.

Lin Chuyan, with cell phone in hand and lips curved up at each corner, he
spoke in a very soft voice: “I mean, don't get angry anymore.”

“Hum.”

“Do you really know Xiang Daying?”

Xiang Nuan was silent for a moment then asked: “You mean that Xiang Daying
who paints little kittens?”

“......” Lin Chuyan didn't quite know how to respond; he pinched his forehead
and replied: “I'm talking about that renown contemporary Chinese painting artist
Xiang Daying. En, he's famous for painting cats.” What little kittens……

Xiang Nuan: “Oh. That's my dad.”

Lin Chuyan: “......”

World was truly a small place.

“I say, Lin Chuyan, what exactly are you up to?”

“I have a favor to ask you.”

“What favor?”

After listening to the favor Lin Chuyan was asking of her, Xiang Nuan laughed.

Xiang Nuan always said that Lin Chuyan had a pleasant voice. Actually, Xiang
Nuan's voice was just as pleasing to the ear, only she didn't seem to realize it.
Her voice was soft and sweet, reminding people of the fruit flavored gummy
candy they had in their childhood.

Now Xiang Nuan laughed, cheerfully and lightheartedly, like a singing bird.

Lin Chuyan also laughed, his eyelashes slightly quivered and asked carefully:
“How about it?”

Xiang Nuan: “Lin Chuyan, you want me to help you and yes, I can help but
there's one condition.” The way she spoke was like someone who was scheming
something.

Lin Chuyan got a little nervous: “Tell me, anything is fine.”

Xiang Nuan: “I want you-----”

Lin Chuyan's tips of eyebrows twitched.

“-----to call me papa.”

I want you to call me papa……

Lin Chuyan knew there would be the day…...when she even trash talked to her
own teammates……

Lin Chuyan put his hand on his forehead.
