/ This Time You Are Mine Chapter 225 - Attack!
The following morning, Yve woke up at an earlier time and ate her breakfast. As soon as she finished preparing herself, the door opened revealing Sylvan and Chrysthe.
"Sylvan and Chrysthe, good morning!" Yve greeted them.
"Good morning!" They both responded at the same time.
"What's my schedule for today?" Yve asked as they stepped out and headed to the car.
"Since you have finished all the paperwork, I have moved the meetings with the different branches of the office. Aside from the time of the meetings, I was able to squeeze in another meeting. I hope you don't mind." Sylvan informed her.
Yve stopped reading the files which contain the agendas of today's meeting to look at Sylvan and responded,
"I don't mind another meeting but what would be the agenda?"
"It's actually one of the artists from the group which will have the comeback in a short while. You know him, Tristan." Sylvan explained.
"Of course I remember him. He was a big help to Hya's latest music video and became more famous as well. But what would be the meeting about?"
"He didn't inform me. He just classified it as trajectory. This also made me think twice about accepting his appointment but he has been very determined." Sylvan said with a confused look.
"I see. Don't worry too much as I have an idea." Yve smiled and opened her files once more to continue reviewing the details.
As Chrysthe and Sylvan saw how focused Yve was, Sylvan informed Edward via text. This eased Vince's anxiety on his Queen despite the pool of problems he is facing with his mother. Ever since they have arrived, Vince had checked the possible scenarios and the Beta team immediately checked on the places he came up with but failed. Hearing a positive update on Yve allows him to further concentrate on finding his mother.
"Edward, how's the company?" He asked Edward while reviewing the information they have gathered in France, so far.
"Everything is fine. The plans we have approved before we left are now being put into action and proceed as we expected." Edward lied.
The truth was that one of the malls owned by Stones revealed a fluctuating income on their reports. It seemed that the records were manipulated. He is currently reviewing the facts before forwarding it to Sylvan. Edward plans to fulfill his promise.
'Afterall, it's the Stones. She should ought to know and make an impact to the investors herself.' He thought.
Yve can freely use Vince's current jurisdiction and once she saves the mall, her image will greatly improve. It's a very risky move and Vince might even get mad at him but he's willing to do it considering Yve's performance with SkyMu and result on her entrance examination.
"I see. Tell the department managers of both corporations to send daily reports to their vice presidents. The vice presidents will then send me the compiled daily reports by lunch time the following day." Vince instructed.
"Are you serious?! The immediate ones should only be brought to your concern." Edward replied.
His cousin must be losing his mind. Vince is currently handling two corporations with many subsidiary companies. His body can't this stress. Edward thought to himself.
"Inform only the staff under Stones. They need to feel the urgency of the matters at hand. I can't fully trust the people there, even the lowest in the rank might be involved with the record manipulation in some of the companies we already solved." Vince added.
"Ahhhh… Okay." Edward was relieved.
"What about for Gray Group?"
"Same instruction for the department managers. But I only want to receive weekly reports from the vice presidents. Important matters must be forwarded to me immediately." Vince replied.
By the time Vince finished giving the instructions, Edward began to type in the formal letters and send it to the managers. He even posted it in the companies' electronic notice board. Stones also received their respective notice boards. By lunch local time, the employees were already informed of such instructions. They were scared but this was what they have expected now that their CEO is out of the country, especially for Gray Group. This news alerted the staff of Stones and began to do their best in the name of fear.
Sylvan informed Yve on the issue of one of the local companies under Stones. Yve read through the papers and was quite shocked with the reality of the mall. It has been on the red mark for quite a while and to calm the investors, her step mother had been changing the records and reports to the board.
"What a sneaky woman!" Yve remarked.
"Miss, what do you want to do about this?" Sylvan asked.
"Retrieve more project plans from the malls's Creative and Marketing Team." Yve ordered.
"About that….." Sylvan finds it difficult to begin.
"Say it, Sylvan. I think I can handle it now." Yve encouraged him.
"The Creative and Marketing Team wanted to meet Mr. Gray but since he's out of the country, Edward was suppose to go…" Sylvan wasn't able to finish his words when Yve asked a question.
"What time will be the meeting?"
"At dinner."
"Have their plans sent to me and confirm the meeting. I will study their proposals and attend the meeting in his stead." Yve ordered.
A small smile was placed on Sylvan's face and remarked, 'As expected of the lady boss.' He then left her office to do his tasks in relation to the meeting."
Unaware of some issues at Stones, Vince found a single clue on her mother. It was a CCTV footage of a store where his mother's face was seen. They looked at the plate number of the van and traced the possible located considering its distance from the hotel and the amount of gasoline. It was the big break they were looking for as it has narrowed the possible location of the Madam.
Vince didn't waste any moment and decided to dispatch Team Bravo to all the warehouses. His mother's safety was what he wants to secure at the moment. Finding the man behind it and taking his revenge will come later.
Just in a short time, they were down to three remaining warehouses. As they were about to infiltrate it, Team Bravo noticed that these places where under their Boss' ultimate enemy way back in university. They called Edward and received one word order from their Primo,
"ATTACK!"
